Terry Crews Is Still Being The Hero Hollywood Doesn’t Deserve Terry Crews has long been beloved by many, but since he bravely came out to discuss his time being sexually assaulted by a Hollywood big wig, he’s taken a much different role than most might expect of an actor of his caliber. Since following many women and speaking up about his own situation led by an abuse of power, Crews hasn’t stopped supporting others and clapping back at people who are spewing their ignorance all over the internet. It’s not surprising that among all of the dummies that roam the earth, Terry would be met with some pushback after admitting that another man groped him at a Hollywood event. There definitely hasn’t been a shortage of people who think being assaulted has something to do with Crews’ sexual preference, and one of those ignorant tweeters was educated in front of everyone this weekend. A twitter user comically named, “iBeSuckaFree” (spoiler alert, he ain’t sucka free) commented on how he supposedly “understands” people who are scared to come out of the closet, and then proceeds to call Terry Crews—who has never come out and is married to a woman—a fa**ot. The event is in the style of a 90’s block party, broadcasting from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The special will celebrate important moments from television, film, and music that came from the decade. Missy Elliot’s performance will also pay tribute to the 90’s. In addition to Missy’s performance, it was announced earlier that Martin Lawrence will be honored on the program for his work on “Martin,” which ran from 1992 to 1997. More honorees and performances will be announced in the future, but you’ll be able to see it all on September 18th.

When asked about the upcoming season of Donald Glover’s hit show Atlanta , Stanfield said, “I’m sure the current events going on will influence the writers to put something in there…I’m looking forward. I think they’ve written it, but I haven’t seen anything yet, but I’ve been hearing some interesting things…Believe me, they’re paying attention, and they’re very good at being detail-oriented in that way. They’re licked thumb out into the wind and feeling where things are going and into the universe that is Atlanta .” Lakeith also talked about how the “Moonlight” video came about and on whether he’s seen the actual show the video is parodying, Friends . He said after he reached out to his team,Jay called him. “He called me, personally on the phone, and appealed to me about this project. I had heard the song and I thought “Moonlight” was a great idea, and I thought it could be cool to put visuals to it in the way they wanted to. It is Christmas in August when Summit Entertainment releases more photos from the final installment of the Twilight Saga , Breaking Dawn – Part 2 . And it just so happens that one of the photos depicts Bella ( Kristen Stewart ), Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Renesmee, the half-vampire progeny of Bella and Edward rocking around the Christmas tree with some, um, traditionally human appetizers. Apparently, the half human side of Suri, I mean, Renesmee still digs Ritz crackers and Hershey Christmas Kisses. I’m guessing the summer sausage is for Jacob. Okay, so enough about the holidays. Adult actress/filmmaker/reality TV personality Sunny Leone was poised to make a big splash in her non-porny Bollywood acting debut, an erotic thriller that by all accounts had everything: Cleavage-baring love scenes, Bollywood musical interludes, a convoluted plot about a porn star asked to go undercover to lure her insane assassin-ex to the authorities. But on top of its racy material enraging some audiences in India, director Pooja Bhatt’s picture had something else working against it, even moreso stateside: Dudes, it’s called Jism 2 . Bhatt’s erotic thriller, a follow-up in name to 2003’s Jism (the word means “body” in Hindi… and something entirely different in the parlance of our times), did decent business in India last week despite lukewarm reviews. In its second week, however, Jism 2 suffered a steep drop off , but in America, where media companies like Apple reportedly balked at the title , it was a nonstarter. Maybe Leone’s fanbase opted out (save those who tuned in to Jism 2 , y’know, just for the acting). I’m guessing the limited opportunities to plaster the words “JISM 2!” on billboards and bus stops across America didn’t help, either. Or, as reviews revealed, it simply wasn’t worth getting worked up about. “The most controversial Hindi film of the year is also the worst,” blared The Hollywood Reporter in its review. Another critic at Bollywood Hungama perhaps put it best: “Sunny Leone in the driver’s seat, coupled with a generous dose of skin show and erotica, besides an attention-grabbing title, should act as a honey-trap to lure the audiences. Man, the puns just write themselves on this one. You’ve seen Indian-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone covered in Jism before, but not quite like this. Sunny returned to the motherland for a shot at Bollywood stardom in Jism 2 , which is supposedly some sort of thriller but looks more like series of excuses to show Sunny in a bikini combined with sappy Bollywood musical numbers . Sunny’s casting caused an uproar on the conservative subcontinent, where onscreen nudity is almost unheard of and the production of pornography is banned. So although there’s no actual nudity in the film, 628 million horny Indian men translated into a strong opening weekend for Jism 2 in India. But its long-term prospects appear flaccid as word-of-mouth caused a sharp decline in ticket sales after its opening weekend and it flopped miserably overseas. Twitch Film ‘s Charlie Hobbs, one of a handful of overseas critics to review the film, says: ” Even with an actual porn star in the cast, they couldn’t manage to make the sex scenes very sexy. Everyone looks really good semi-clothed, but no one seems comfortable at all, even Leone looks like she’s out of her element…This kind of film helped me transition from a boy to a man in the ’90s, thanks to the loving embrace of Skinemax, but those films were able to actually deliver on their promise enough to leave their audience satisfied. Jism 2 doesn’t, won’t, or can’t. Whatever the excuse, it adds up to failure. ” And Anupama Chopra of the English-language Hindustan Times (reprinted in the New York Daily News ), simply says ” For an erotic film, everyone talks way too much. ” Talk about a limp reception.
