Skylor Atilano has reportedly been arrested in connection with his disappearance. Smith, who is autistic and answers to “Juju,” had been missing since Saturday, July 6 . He had been left under the care of his half-brother, Atilano. Skylor, 16, told investigators in Southern California that he last saw Terry Smith when he told him to stop following him while Skylor went to a friends house. A police spokesman said the teen told investigators he was “walking away from their residence, turns back, sees that Terry’s following him and tells Terry, ‘Hey, go home.’” “He’s been cooperative throughout the whole time,” the deputy said. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office is waiting for investigators to forward the criminal case to prosecutors for review, spokesman John Hall said. He said he did not know how quickly that could happen, but it looks like the search for the missing boy may have ended – and tragically at that. The body of a boy who fits the description of 11-year-old Terry was found overnight in a “shallow grave containing partially exposed human remains.” The half brother, who has the same mom as Terry, has been “questioned several times by investigators,” officials confirmed Tuesday afternoon. As the search went on and temperatures exceeded 100 degrees each day, more than 1,000 law enforcement, search and rescue personnel, and volunteers took part. Their search extended more than 80 miles beyond the home on Helen Lane in a rural area of Menifee, a city of about 80,000 in southwestern Riverside County.
