Losing a child or one convicted of murder are the worst ways for any parent to start off a new year. But unfortunately for Lake City native Carter Palm, that was the case. The 11-year old has been charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of his 14-year-old friend Jadon Vaughn whom he says attacked him with a knife. According to the Columbia County Sheriff Office : Jadon was visiting the home of Carter and his brother. The adults of the home went out for the evening, leaving the children at the residence. Around 7pm, Jadon and Carter began play wrestling in an attempt to see if the family dog would respond to Jadon attacking Carter. After this, Carter went and retrieved a pistol from his parent’s room, removed the magazine and pointed it at Jadon. The gun discharged killing Jadon. Carter is currently in juvenile detention in Gainesville. The State Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case to see if anyone will face neglect charges because the boys were left home alone with unsecured guns. SMH.

To thieves, that’s a green light to go and grab some loot from the “Younger” star’s unoccupied mansion. Apparently, those who robbed her Beverly Hills house got away with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and other items. No alarm went off when the burglars entered the residence, and the extent of the robbery is not yet made clear since Duff and her family are still away on vacation in Canada. Hilary is just the latest in celebrity robberies, her recent counterparts include Nicki Minaj, Michael B Jordan, and Scott Disick.

Muskogeephoenix.com : An attorney representing Muskogee said the pepper-spraying of an 84-year-old woman was a reasonable use of force. Attorney Scott Wood said the breach of a home, electrical stunning of a suspect and pepper-spraying of the home’s resident, Geneva Smith, was reasonable “given the totality of the circumstances.” Muskogee police officers followed Arthur Paul Blackmon, 56, at about 2:45 a.m. Aug. 7, attempting to pull him over after he allegedly ran a stop sign at Elgin and South Junction streets. The two officers, Michelle Casady and Jared Forbes, followed Blackmon to the 2400 block of Denver Street, where Smith lives. City officials released late Friday the body and dash camera video — 20 files in all. The video shows Blackmon, ignoring the commands of officers, exit the vehicle he was driving and enter the residence. “It starts off as a traffic stop — that’s a low misdemeanor — but based on the other evidence gathered in those three minutes … it could be a severe crime. It could have been a home invasion,” Wood said. Wood, who was hired because of the potential for litigation, said the truck was not registered to Blackmon, nor was it registered to anyone at the Denver Street address. Officers, debating entry into the home, reportedly heard a male and a female shouting “call police” and “call 911.” Officer James Hamlin, who arrested Blackmon, later asked Blackmon about it, according to Hamlin’s body camera video. “That’s what we was telling you,” Blackmon told Hamlin. “We called 911. We were waiting on the police.” A police officer kicked in the door. An officer shot Blackmon with an electrical stun gun. While six other officers entered the residence, Smith was trying to figure out what was going on. Casady delivered approximately one second of pepper spray to Smith. “My mother’s 84 years old, mother f—–,” Blackmon said when Smith was pepper-sprayed, according to the video. Muskogee Police Chief Rex Eskridge said Smith failed to comply with officers’ orders and turned toward the kitchen. Smith actively resisted by ducking away from officers, Wood said. The police department’s use of force policy states that pepper spray, considered to be the lowest use of force, is to be used for passive resistance. Eskridge said that when Casady used the pepper spray, she “believed she was acting within policy in using” pepper spray to gain compliance. The matter was still under internal investigation as of Friday morning, Eskridge said. “There is nothing more serious than to breach a home without a proper search warrant,” Eskridge said. “We want to make sure that we were in compliance with, not just policy, but the law.” Muskogeephoenix.com
Dallas TV personality Stacy Fawcett died last night after her 19-year-old son McCann Utu Jr. stabbed her in her home, reports People . Known as “Dallas’ Favorite Foodie,” the 45-year-old Fawcett and her youngest son, 17-year-old Josiah Utu, were attacked by McCann early Friday, according to the Plano Police Department. Police reports indicate that a male suspect called 911 to report that he had committed the murders, and officers were dispatched to the home. Once there, officers “made entry into the residence and discovered a deceased adult male and adult female along with another adult male who was alive with multiple stab wounds.” McCann was taken to a nearby hospital and later died from the injuries. A motive has still not been identified, but The Dallas Morning News reports that McCann “had been troubled for years” following two concussions that severely altered his personality. McCann suffered the first concussion while playing basketball for his high school and the second during an altercation with another student. “The McCann I knew, he would never do something like that,” a childhood friend of the trouble teen told the paper. “He loved Josiah, he loved his mom.” Fawcett was a popular food blogger who also had a segment on Daybreak, a morning news show on Dallas’ WFAA-TV Channel 8. Tragic news today out of Hollywood: E’Dena Hines , the 33-year old step-granddaughter of legendary actor Morgan Freeman, was found stabbed to death outside of her apartment in New York City. According to People Magazine, an unidentified 30-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene and transported to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. The New York Police Department confirms via statement that officers found E’Dena Hines lying in the street outside her residence on the 400 block of W. 162nd Street around 3 a.m. on Sunday. She was suffering from multiple stab wounds to her torso at the time. Hines, the granddaughter of Morgan’s first wife, was taken by EMS to Harlem Hospital and later pronounced dead, according to the NYPD. An investigation into the crime is ongoing. “The world will never know her artistry and talent, and how much she had to offer,” Morgan said . “Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. “Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Jace Alexander, a long-time television director best known for his work on Law & Order, has been charged with two counts of child pornography. Specifically, according to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore, Alexander is in trouble for for “possessing and file-sharing illegal and obscene performances of sexual conduct by children less than seventeen years of age.” The director was taken into custody on Wednesday after an investigator traced a July 24 download of child pornography to an IP address assigned to his residence; this allowed authorities to obtain a search warrant. Entertainment Tonight broke this disturbing piece of news. This incident takes place a couple weeks after veteran Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was also placed under child pornography investigation. “A forensic examination of computers and external hard drives removed from the location revealed digital files of children who are less than sixteen years of age engaged in child pornography,” the DA’s office announced via statement. Alexander – who most recently worked on episodes of Backstrom, Scorpion and Unforgettable – faces a maximum sentence of seven years in state prison. His bail was set at $10,000 cash and he is scheduled to appear in court in November 19.

Trump.” In this biography, author Harry Hurt III writes of how Ivana told friends about an incident in which Donald, her husband from 1977 through 1992, “raped” her. According to the book, Donald Trump came home after a failed scalp procedure, angry that the doctor Ivana recommended performed in such a shoddy manner. Trump allegedly held back Ivana’s arms… pulled out “fistfuls of hair” and… then: “He jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months.
