Brooklyn Woman Found Living With Mother’s Corpse For 3 Years According to NY Post reports: A Brooklyn woman spent three years living in a cramped apartment with her dead mom — propping her up at the dinner table and sleeping next to her skeleton every night, The Post has learned. Chava Stirn, 28, even dressed like her mother — wearing the same black outfit and shoes that Susie Rosenthal had on when she died. Stirn set the bones of her mom, Susie Rosenthal, 61, on a bed of trash bags in the kitchen of their Borough Park apartment, a law-enforcement source said. For the slumber parties, she dragged a chair into the kitchen to snooze next to the corpse — leaving her twin bed covered in stacks of paper. Neighbors didn’t smell anything suspicious until the super of the building tried to investigate a leak coming from the apartment on Monday afternoon, police sources said. Stirn refused to open her door, so emergency workers knocked it down — and found her in a chair, looking disheveled, surrounded by waist-high piles of trash, police sources said. She refused to let anyone inside the apartment, so a relative would sometimes leave food outside her door, the police sources said. When cops approached Stirn, she was acting “erratically.” She was taken to Maimonides Medical Center for a psych evaluation. She believed her mom had “ left her there to die,” a police source said. The cause of Rosenthal’s death is not yet clear. Yikes… Neighbors said the daughter never left the house and they’d hear weird noises coming from the apartment. One person even said when she listened closely she heard her screaming “I kill myself! I kill myself!” Clearly she’s got a couple screws loose. Hopefully she can get the help she needs. Shutterstock
Ma’am … Woman Goes On 30 Day Dog Food Diet A Washington state pet store owner is making national headlines after announcing that she’s going on a strict pet food only diet for 30 days. SMH… KNDO reports: A woman in Richland is em”bark”ing on a new mission. This month she’s eating with her pets, and chowing down on nothing but pet food. “Of course now when I share with the dogs, it’s not like i’m giving them table scraps,” Dorothy Hunter says. That’s one way she can look at her menu for the next month. She owns Paws Natural Pet Emporium, where her endeavor started while stocking shelves. “I didn’t have time to go get a snack,” she said, “so I grabbed a bag of treats off the counter, and I was like, wow, you know, these read better than normal people treats. So I started eating the treats and I was like, you know, I could do this for 30 days.” Now, she’s a week in, eating nothing but cat and dog food, like flakes of salmon, and freeze dried chicken. “I’ve also been doing our oven baked blueberry treats, as well as freeze dried green beans, carrots,” she says, “I’m even doing some canned cat food, one is a succulent chicken, and it actually tastes really good. So I’m really happy with that one. I don’t do raw bones or meat products like that, or the frozen because i’m just not into raw.” Even her employees have joined in, together they’re trying kibble. Dorothy says it’s not bad, but it’s better with a little milk. But this experiment isn’t about taste, Dorothy has a bigger message. “Learn about what you’re eating and what you’re feeding your pets. I think if we can get the awareness out of reading the ingredients, and really understanding what is in the pet food, that that will eventually carry over. If you’re feeding your pet healthy, maybe you’ll start reading the ingredients of your own foods, and maybe you can start eating healthy too.” Here’s to hoping Dorothy doesn’t have a husband with that doggie breath…
