Anderson Cooper to Guy on Plane: B!tch, What the F Are You Doing?!

Things you didn’t expect to see today … Anderson Cooper recalling to Kathy Griffin about the time he tore some guy a new one on an airplane! The CNN anchor appeared on Griffin’s Bravo show Kathy Thursday night and described how someone was recently trying to take his photo on a plane. When he saw the guy was trying to clandestinely “do the reverse iPhone thing” and snap a pic of AC – even as AC watched incredulously – he snapped. Anderson Cooper on Kathy Griffin “I’ve lately become emboldened and grabbed the guy on the shoulder,” Anderson said, followed by, “Bitch, what the F are you doing?” Bet you didn’t see that coming … nor did the guy with the iPhone. The Silver Fox then added, “It was just one of those things where, as soon as I said it, I thought ‘I can’t believe I just said this to the guy!” Neither can we, but it’s pretty hilarious.

Charlie Sheen Cast in Machete Sequel

Would you vote Charlie Sheen for President of the United States? Or perhaps this is a more realistic question: Would you watch a movie in which Charlie Sheen plays the President of the United States? Director Robert Rodriguez has cast the controversial actor in that exact role for the upcoming Machete sequel, Machete Kills , posting a photo of himself and Sheen on Twitter last night along with the announcement: Machete Kills will be a follow-up to the 2010 action thriller and once again star Jessica Alba as Sartana Rivera, along with Danny Trejo as Machete Cortez. Michelle Rodriguez and Amber Heard will also play (HOT!) roles. No release date has been announced for the sequel, but production gets underway next month.

Red Light Cameras Suspended in New Jersey After Hundreds of Erroneous Tickets Mailed

New Jersey’s red light camera program has been suspended pending a widespread number of tickets issued erroneously to people going through yellow lights. That’ll do it. The newly-installed cameras, placed at busy intersections to capture speeders and red light runners in the act, result in tickets being mailed to the violators. In addition to coming as a surprise (and raising civil rights questions) among those who are unaware they’re being filmed … they’re also not accurate. In New Jersey, 63 out of 85 traffic cameras apparently weren’t calibrated correctly and not allowing sufficient time to proceed through yellow caution lights. Officials are suspending camera use for the time being, presumably to fix the lights. People who have already paid their tickets won’t get a refund, however. Officials are, however, willing to work with motorists on getting the tickets expunged from their record, according to the National Motorists Association. Cameras at the impacted intersections will continue to run and register violations but those violations will no longer be sent to motorists automatically. If the yellow light timing is found to be below the requirement on video, motorists won’t be mailed a ticket. If the minimum requirement is met, they will. Since NJDOT gave an August 1 date to get this done, that is within the 90 days allowed for a ticket to be delivered after the violation is determined.
