WATCH: Fox News Accuses The Muppets of Brainwashing Children with Liberal Agenda

If this isn’t a good reason to go support The Muppets in its post-opening weekend theatrical run, I don’t know what is: Watch as a Fox News anchor and two right-wing pundit accuse Disney’s The Muppets of brainwashing children with its anti-capitalist message. Then rejoice as Professor Caroline Heldman of Occidental College drops science and keeps her cool in defense of the Muppets, President Obama, and reasonable thinking in general.

Chris Hemsworth and College Hotties Get the Horror Treatment in The Cabin in the Woods Trailer

If a creepy, tobacco-spitting, rural gas station attendant tells you, “I can get you there… it’s getting back that’s your concern,” as you navigate your way to a weekend house so “off-the-grid” that it doesn’t show up on the most advanced GPS system, you might turn around and floor your RV until you’re safely ensconced in suburban civilization again. But the upcoming Joss Whedon-produced horror flick Cabin in the Woods is not about you and your sensible friends — it’s about a bunch of college hotties (Chris Hemsworth, Jesse Williams, Anna Hutchison) who are willing to ignore a football field’s (or whatever unit of measure popular 20-somethings use) worth of red flags if it means they can have a kickass cabin weekend.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy Haiku Contest Winners Announced!

This won’t come nearly close to matching the poetry witnessed throughout last week’s Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy premiere giveaway contest (or the tense, masterful symphony of the film itself, chock-full of your favorite British thesps and “Pillow lipped chameleons”), but: “Thanks to all who played/With odes to Tinker, Tailor …/Winners after the jump!”

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters First Look: Renner and Arterton

Fairy tales really do come true… when Hollywood is out of other ideas. EW has the first look at Tommy Wirkola’s Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters , a film starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as grown versions of the Grimm trekkers who once killed a witch during their youth. Apparently the movie takes on a gritty Pulp Fiction vibe while invoking the very real bonds between siblings who’ve suffered abuse and trauma. Bread crumbs and broken lives, y’all. Click through for a first glimpse.

Liam Neeson Is a Badass Wilderness Hero in New Trailer For The Grey

Last time we saw Liam Neeson in a trailer for the upcoming survival drama The Grey , he was preparing to battle a few angry wolves. In the new kickass preview for Joe Carnahan’s wilderness adventure, Neeson is not only preparing to wage a full-scale attack on all of the wolves that stand between him and civilization, but he heroically maintains the morale among a group of fellow stranded plane crash survivors on their long walk home.

Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’s Soundtrack Will Only Span Three Discs and Six LPs

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has already established itself as the perfect forum for Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’s haunting, crunchy musical stylings, but the full breadth of its soundtrack is a bit of a disappointment: It’s only three full-length CDs! Damn it. That’s barely enough music to occupy me during a four-hour flight from Los Angeles to Chicago. Underachievers. Find out where you can get the soundtrack’s Karen O.-led cover of “Immigrant Song,” as well as a few clips from the new package, after the jump.
