Rocco The Parrot Ordered Snacks From Alexa While Owner Was Away We thought this was hilarious! Rocco, an African Grey parrot seems like a real troublemaker. First Rocco was kicked out of a British animal sanctuary for his potty mouth — then after being adopted by a sanctuary owner, the brainy bird was smart enough to figure out how to operate his owner’s Alexa and managed to order snacks like strawberries, watermelon, raisins, broccoli and ice cream before the owner noticed the pending orders and put the child proof controls on to keep Rocco from racking up more charges. That wasn’t all he ordered either — he also asked for a kite, light bulbs and a kettle. According to online reports Rocco lives up to his name too — he likes asking Alexa to play him rock music and the occasional slow numbers. Sounds like a pretty cool pet.
Splash News Charlize Theron Says There Are Parts Of America That She Would Not Bring Her Black Children Chelsea Handler interviewed Charlize Theron for ELLE Magazine about her newest role as Marlo in the new Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman film Tully and she talked a lot about her kids and how racism in America has made her consider moving. CH: You’re raising two children of color. Obviously, coming from South Africa, you know a lot about racial inequality, but what are your thoughts on Black Lives Matter and our current climate? CT: Being raised during the apartheid era in South Africa made me so hyperaware of equality and human rights. Of course, I have two black kids, but that was always something I was passionate about. I don’t even know how to talk about the last year under our new administration. But racism is much more alive and well than people thought. We can’t deny it anymore. We have to be vocal. There are places in this country where, if I got a job, I wouldn’t take it. I wouldn’t travel with my kids to some parts of America, and that’s really problematic. There are a lot of times when I look at my kids and I’m like, If this continues, I might have to [leave America]. Because the last thing I want is for my children to feel unsafe. CH: It’s a tough conversation to have. CT: We’re not there yet, but trust me, we talk. I want them to know who they are, and I want them to be so fu***ng proud of who they are. Building confidence for them right now is an oath I made to myself when I brought them home. They need to know where they come from and be proud of that. But they’re going to have to know that it’s a different climate for them than it is for me, and how unfair that is. If I can do something about that, of course I’m going to. It definitely sounds like Charlize is a good protective parent riiiiiight? Have you considered moving because of American racism?

According to TMZ , police officers who will be working Coachella are undergoing intense training in the event that a terror event takes place at the wildly popular music event. Law enforcement and responders will be equipped with tourniquets and medical supplies to stop blood loss, in addition to heavy security surveillance like drones to keep an eye on everything happening in the surrounding areas. It’s so real that police are being taught where trashcans are placed so that if one appears out of place they can respond with bomb units etc. This is world we live in now. SMFH.

Getty Images Sinbad Casts In Rel Pilot It’s lit! Comedy veteran Sinbad has just joined the pilot for “Rel”, a Lil Rel Howery and Jerrod Carmichael pilot for Fox according to Variety . The standup comic will play Rel’s dad, as well as the father to Nat (Jordan L. Jones), who seems to care more about his reputation in the community than he does about the happiness of his sons. According to reports, Rel is a comedy inspired by the life of comedian Lil Rel. Lil Rel Howery reportedly stars as a prideful, self-made success who lives by the code of “always believe in yourself and great things will come.” He finds that attitude put to the test when he learns his wife is having an affair with his barber. He tries to rebuild his life postdivorce as a long-distance single father on the South Side of Chicago who is on a quest for love, respect and a new barber. Ironically, Sinbad’s return to television is happening on Fox, where he had his own self-titled series once. The Sinbad Show , which aired on Fox for one season in the 1993-94 season.
