Us magazine is reporting that Johnny Depp married Amber Heard in a small ceremony in a cove that overlooks the ocean, with about two dozen chairs set aside for guests. Paul Bettany the Actor/Director/Scariest guy in the world in The Da Vinci Code (when he was the self-mutilating baddie! Yuck!) witnessed the vows, along with Depp’s two children Lily-Rose (15) and Jack (12). While this is Johnny’s second marriage and Amber’s first, it is both of their second time performing these particular marriage vows to each other, as Depp and Heard were officially married last week in West Hollywood. Why get married twice? Well, it’s a celebrity thing. The first time is for the family and friends, and the second time is for the public. The previous ceremony took place at Depp’s home, it was small and intimate. This one had snorkeling, drinking, music … the works! But really, what blushing bride doesn’t want to opportunity to dress-up twice, and to get married to Johnny Depp twice? It’s a little girl’s dream come true – LITERALLY, as Amber Heard was a little girl when Johnny was first becoming a Hollywood heartthrob. Heard (28) met Johnny (51) on the set of the movie The Rum Diary in 2011, and have been together ever since. According to a source close to the couple, “things are in a great place with them”, which is probably good since they just got married twice. Will they go for the tri-fecta? Only time will tell.
