Source: Nuccio DiNuzzo / Getty Smollett Reportedly Told Police He Is Suffering From An Untreated Drug Problem Jussie Smollett reportedly told authorities he was suffering from an untreated drug problem. According to TMZ , the actor made the claim Thursday while surrendering to police on a felony count of disorderly conduct for filing a false report. Smollett is believed to have purchased drugs from one of the brothers who allegedly helped him stage the phony hate crime. Prosecutors claimed to have reviewed text messages indicating one of the brothers sold Smollett “designer drugs” on many occasions. Legal documents also reportedly show Smollett answering “no” when asked if he had any alcohol or mental health problems. Smollett was released from police custody Thursday on $100,000 bond. He’s expected to enter a plea at his next court hearing March 14

Source: picture alliance / Getty 79-year-old Georgia Shoots At Suspect on 911 Call A suspected burglar who broke into the home of a gun-toting, 79-year-old Georgia woman got way more than he bargained for earlier this month when she starting shooting at him, according to Daily Mail UK. Police say Hans Rogers, 20, of Dallas, Georgia is the man who was nearly shot twice by an unidentified elderly woman after he allegedly broke into her home in rural Jackson County. They found Rogers hiding in an upstairs closet after his victim fired two shots at him as she stood in the kitchen of her home. He was later charged with felony home invasion and burglary. Source: Boston Globe / Getty Ex-NFL Star Gets Sacked With Felonies After Assaulting Girlfriend Former New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks Cornerback, Brandon Browner, has been charged with at least four felonies and two misdemeanors after he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend earlier this week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to reports Browner was charged with one count of attempted murder, first-degree residential robbery, first-degree burglary, person present, and false imprisonment. He also faces two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to a child. Browner allegedly broke into the home of an ex-girlfriend through a locked window and forced the woman back inside when she tried to run. He proceeded to “allegedly physically harmed and made threats to kill the victim inside the residence.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Browner’s bail has been set at $10 million. If convicted as charged, Browner faces a possible maximum life sentence in state prison, according to TMZ.

Swirl stay losing! January Gessert Arrested For Forged Checks Via TMZ reports: Ever wonder what happened to t he woman who allegedly broke up Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush by spreading her legs ? No? Well in case you’re wondering … she was arrested for trying to pass phony checks. January Gessert’s claim to fame was allegedly banging Reggie back in 2010, while he was still dating Kim K. The former blonde denied the home-wrecking allegations and even hired Gloria Allred to clear her name. Things have only gone downhill … TMZ has learned a bank manager in Redondo Beach called cops on January in March, after she tried to get some loot with forged checks. She was arrested for a felony and is currently free on bail. Sources close to January tell TMZ … she claims it was all a misunderstanding and she’s hired a lawyer to handle the situation. She looks like a friggin’ cartoon character. Reggie should have been embarrassed for tapping that.
