One minor quibble- Amanda netted her nominudtion for Best Lesbian Scene petting Julianne Moore ‘s pussycat in Chloe , not Best Nude Scene. That’s 4 boobs, not 2, for those of you that failed first grade math. But we here at Skin Central are not ones to bite the hand that feeds us, unless of course that hand belongs to the fetching Ms. Seyfried. We’ll play big bad wolf to her Red Riding Hood any day.

Great Jugs of the Jazz Age: Clara Bow

The bonerrific tradition of Hollywood nudity goes way, way back to the uninhibited 1920s, and in honor of the upcoming Academy Awards (as well as Mr. Skin’s Anatomy Awards , of course) we here at Mr. Skin have rubbed ourselves raw scouring the archives for the very apex of Academy Award-winning nudity. As tit turns out, the very first Best Picture, Wings (1927) , is also a breast picture thanks to legendary wild child and original “it” girl Clara Bow. In the film, Clara stars as a sweet young thing involved in a love triangle with two pilots, both of whom are sent off to fight in World War I. In one scene, Clara is undressing in front of a mirror when her soldier boys barge in, and as she scrambles to cover up, we get a tantalizing glimpse of her topless. It’s highly unlikely that the nip slip was intentional, but thanks to the miracle of celluloid, Clara’s “it” tits have achieved immor(t)ality. Fleshbot Lists Top 10 Naked Celebrity Moments of 2010

While Mr. Skin has been busy gearing up for the Anatomy Awards and trying to decide who had the best natural boobs of 2010 and who did the best full frontal scene, the good people at Fleshbot are taking a broader view of celebrity nudity with their list of the Top 10 Naked Celebrity Moments of 2010, which you can read here . Mr. Skin is inclined to agree with Fleshbot that we should all be celebrating Chelsea Handler ‘s fake sex tape (and real boobs) along with the real sex tapes of Montana Fishburne and Kendra Wilkinson and the boob tube nudity of Mary Louise Parker on Weeds and Lucy Lawless on Spartacus: Blood and Sand . But with so much celebrity nudity coming to us via sex tapes and cable TV, it’s easy to forget that actresses are still flashing flesh in the theaters. Thankfully this year we had the nude debuts of Kirsten Dunst and Jessica Alba to remind us that you can still pop more than corn at the movies!
