This is horrific … ISIS Beheads Alan Henning ISIS has beheaded yet another hostage, this time British aid worker Alan Henning. This is the FOURTH beheading by the Islamic State terrorist group. The New York Daily News reports : A new Internet video released Friday purportedly shows the beheading of another innocent British hostage by Islamic State terrorists. The horrific clip of Alan Henning marked the fourth ISIS video showing the savage death of a Western hostage — two from the United States and two from Britain. Henning, a 47-year-old former taxi driver, was kidnapped last December while working in an aid convoy crossing into Syria from Turkey. His wife has begged ISIS for Henning’s release. The video ended ominously with an ISIS terrorist threatening another man identified as an American citizen. The gruesome tape appeared shot in the same style as the three prior beheadings, although its authenticity was not immediately confirmed by U.S. or British officials. How horrible is this???? Via Raw Story: In a discussion on Friday about how marriage equality and LGBT rights are responsible for gang violence in Chicago and the collapse of society, Fox News contributor and American Family Association radio host Sandy Rios and anti-LGBT evangelical pastor Erwin Lutzer compared the love LGBT couples feel for each other to pedophilia, rape and the feelings Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro had toward the women he imprisoned and abused. Lutzer was discoursing on a popular anti-LGBT theme, that people may feel attractions and longings for people other than their opposite sex, but “that does not mean we can simply follow our desires wherever they lead us. You know, a pedophile, I’m sure, says that he loves children. As a matter of fact he does, but you can see how destructive that love is.” Once love is no longer defined as feelings between a man and a woman, Lutzer said, “we end up where we are ending up today, with a great slide in morality, the destruction of the family, the confusion that children grow up with.” Rios agreed with Lutzer’s sentiments, saying, “You know, the gentleman that was just sentenced yesterday for holding those women hostage in Ohio, and molesting them for years and doing terrible things to them, his defense was that he ‘loved’ his family, he ‘loved’ his child that was born out of one of the rapes that he did of one of those women. Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro was sentenced to life plus 1,000 years in prison today, one week after he pleaded guilty to avoid the death penalty. The court in Cuyahoga County (Oh.) is seizing the property of the criminal and imposing a fine of $100,000 on him, in addition to his massive sentence. Ariel Castro Sentencing “There is no place in this city, there is no place in this country, there is no place in this world for those who enslave others,” Judge Michael Russo told him. “A person can only die in prison once,” Russo added of the mammoth sentence, which he said was “commensurate with the harm” done by Ariel Castro. Russo, noting how Castro treated victims, said consecutive sentences rendered in his case must be “imposed” to protect the public and “to punish you.” “You don’t deserve to be out in our community. You’re too dangerous.” Speaking at his sentencing hearing, Castro turned around in the courtroom and glanced at family members of the victims. “I am truly sorry,” he said. “Thank you victims. Please find it in your heart to forgive me,” he said at the end of his statement, but the judge and the victims were quite unmoved. Ariel Castro took issue with the aggravated murder charge related to the allegation that his abuse terminated the pregnancy of one of his victims. He said there was no evidence that the incident ever occurred; Castro did plead guilty to that and nearly 400 counts of kidnapping and rape, however. When Judge Russo reminded him that he pleaded guilty, Castro said he did so only to save his three female victims further psychological trauma. Castro tried to argue that he is “sick” and not a monster as portrayed, but Russo countered that he fits the very definition of a “violent sexual predator.” Russo said Castro admitted this as well “by virtue of your plea.” Noting that Castro had an “outwardly” normal relationship with a girlfriend, Russo said it’s clear “you are able to choose who you wish to victimize.” Tragically, he victimized Amanda Berry , Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight for a decade, chaining them in his basement and raping them repeatedly. The first step towards some long overdue justice… Cleveland Kidnapper Ariel Castro Indicted On 329 Counts The charges against Cleveland area kidnapper and future registered sex offender Ariel Castro have finally been handed down and from the sounds of things, he’ll soon be getting exactly what he deserved for putting those young girls through living hell for all of those years. via USA Today Ariel Castro, 52, the former school bus driver accused of holding three women captive in his Cleveland home for a decade, was charged late Friday with murder and more than 300 counts of [forced sex] and kidnapping. The Cuyahoga County grand jury’s 329-count indictment charges Castro with one count of aggravated murder for allegedly terminating one of his captives’ pregnancies, 139 counts of [forced sex] and 177 charges of kidnapping, seven counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of felony assault and one count of possession of criminal tools dating from the time of the first woman’s disappearance until February of 2007. The indictment charges Castro as a “sexually violent predator” who committed the murder and [forced sex acts] in the course of a kidnapping.The murder charge is tied to one victim’s fourth pregnancy, the indictment said. The County Prosecutor’s Capital Review Committee will consider whether prosecutors should seek the death penalty if Castro is convicted. Castro, who was fired last year from his job as a school bus driver, is being held in the Cuyahoga County jail on $8 million bail.
