A supposed deal over flapjacks over the weekend resulted in an unexpected flip-out. Natasha West, a 27-year old Chicago native, was arrested for assault and property damage after she got into a physical disagreement with a waitress at a Denny’s in Oak Lawn, Illinois. West was with a group of friends on Friday evening when she grew irritated at her server upon being told that the restaurant’s $4 all-you-can eat pancake deal only applied to her . In other words: she couldn’t just keep ordering these delicious breakfast items and feeding her party with them. According to the Oak Lawn Police Department, West reacted with anger and cursed at the waitress in response. She even threw multiple punches at the employee, though witnesses say they did not land… perhaps because West was not sober at the time. West and her party proceeded to exit the Denny’s without paying their bill, but not before Natasha kicked a door on the way out. However, the restaurant manager called the authorities, who tracked down West and her friend in a car a short while later. They were taken back to the Denny’s… identified by the waitress… someone in West’s entourage paid for the meal… and then West got taken into custody.
