The wedding of Taj Jackson and Tayana Jackson was a major family affair, with one notable exception: Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson. The Sunday nuptials of Taj and Tayana took place at the family’s Hayvenhurst home, and “was like a family reunion,” says a source inside the wedding. Taj Jackson is the oldest son of Michael’s brother Tito, and the older brother of TJ Jackson, who in 2012 was named co-guardian of MJ’s three children. One of whom, Paris Jackson, was conspicuously absent Sunday. “No one said a word about Paris,” an E! source says, adding that the troubled teen “really wanted to come but they wouldn’t let her out of the hospital.” “I think everyone was trying to block it out and just enjoy the wedding. You wouldn’t know anything was going on, except that [Katherine] looked sad.” “She just didn’t look her normal, happy self today.” The reason for that is very much obvious. “She’s optimistic Paris will get the help she needs. She doesn’t think Paris realized at the time how serious the consequences of her actions would be.” “The hospitalization has hit Paris hard that this is serious.” Meanwhile, Paris’ brothers, Prince and Blanket, “are very well adjusted. You wouldn’t know anything was wrong. They were hanging out and laughing.” “Prince’s girlfriend was there. He didn’t leave her hip the entire night. Blanket was really outgoing, but he only talks to the people he’s close with.” Considering recent reports that Paris and Prince do not have the same father , we’re glad to hear that the focus was on having a good time on this day. Besides Prince Michael, Blanket and Katherine, other well-known guests included Jermaine Jacksun, La Toya Jackson, Tito Jackson and Joe Jackson. Also in attendance were Omer Bhatti and Kris Jenner, who was “happy” and “looking fabulous” following news that Kim Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl.

The Michael Jackson wrongful death trial is in full swing, and it looks like defendant/concert promoting giant AEG Live actually stands a chance of losing. Michael’s mother and his children’s guardian, Katherine Jackson, have made a bold effort to convince a jury AEG Live was negligent, TMZ reports. Randy Phillips, the head of the company, had trouble explaining why he thought MJ ” looked really good ” in a meeting just five days before his death. A photograph of the entertainer taken a day before – June 19, 2009 – clearly showed otherwise, with a smiling Jackson looking noticeably gaunt and pale. Kenny Ortega and others testifying that they were alarmed over MJ’s health as AEG and Dr. Conrad Murray ignored them has also provd compelling. In the days preceding his death, Jackson missed rehearsals and was sweating profusely. He also seemed out of it, saying ” God keeps talking to me .” As for how Phillips reconciled his comment about Jackson with other evidence, he said, “I was confused as anybody.” Not exactly a convincing argument. Experts believed AEG would and could make the case that they felt Jackson being properly cared for by Murray, who MJ is said to have hand-picked. In other words, the explanation that Jackson knew what he was getting into and AEG can’t be held responsible for his recklessness seemed airtight. Or not. Lawyers for Katherine Jackson and the children (Blanket, Prince and Paris Jackson ) may have the upper hand in the trial up to this point. They key: If a jury believes AEG unreasonably pushed Michael to perform when they knew he wasn’t up for it, or if they ignored possible warning signs. The family is seeking tens of BILLIONS of dollars in damages resulting from the death of Michael Jackson, which tragically occurred June 25, 2009.
Leyla Ghobadi would like to make a slight amend to her claim that she slept with Kanye West while he was dating Kim Kardashian: In a new interview, the 26-year old Canadian model says she did NOT sleep with Kanye West while he was dating Kim Kardashian. So there you go. “We met backstage, as I knew members of his band,” Ghobadi tells The Sun . “We ended up having sex at the Thompson Hotel.” Leyla says she was then flown to Kanye’s Toronto concert two days later and “had sex again” with the star. HOWEVER: “This was all before Kim Kardashian and he never spoke about her.” That is quite the change from the model’s previous position, when she told Star that Kanye laughed off his relationship with Kardashian as a publicity stunt. Kanye quickly came out and shot down Ghobadi’s claims , which have now shifted from cheating allegations to a cheating warning for Kim Kardashian: “He will never be faithful to one girl and has women falling at his feet all the time,” she tells the British newspaper. We somehow down Kim and Kanye care at the moment, however. They are brand new parents !

A few days after Tish Cyrus filed for a legal split from Billy Ray Cyrus, the couple’s famous daughter took to Twitter and posted a photo of herself, 13-year old sister Noah and their mom. And she captioned it: “The baddest bitches in the WORLD.” Safe to assume she means that in the most loving way possible. Miley later Tweeted a photo of herself and her mother and included with it three hearts. But the 20-year old star didn’t forget about Billy Ray entirely, despite sending out a bitter Tweet on the day his divorce was announced. “Happy Daddy Day @billyraycyrus,” Cyrus wrote this morning, just days after posting on the social media site: “Billy Ray Cyrus, since your text and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?” Ouch . Looks like all it far from calm in the Cyrus household. We hope it all works out.
