This is all starting to seem like some high school drama. The upcoming season of VH1′s Basketball Wives Miami is looking to be filled with drama as usual. We know that Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams are no longer BFF’s but now the reasons are starting to surface. In a recent interview Jenn tells her side of the story: Let me tell you what she’s mad over ‘cause this always comes up. She hates the fact that I’m really good friends with NeNe [Leakes], and she hates the fact that me and Mashonda are good friends. I feel like it’s all coming from a place of hurt, and she’s turning it into anger. Why do you care who I’m friends with? Like, that’s ridiculous. I live in New York. You live in Miami. I don’t care who you hang out with. I’m kinda over it because I just feel like I’m at a point at my life where I’m trying to get rid of negative energy,” she said. “To me, I feel like it’s something so minuscule. It’s not like I slept with Chad. It’s not something irreparable. It’s something stupid that you’re mad over. If you really are mad because I have other friends, I think that’s completely ridiculous. Evelyn is a non mothaf**ing factor: I don’t say anything to her, and she doesn’t say anything to me. I think it’s always unfortunate when you have so much history with a person for so long and then something stupid happens. More on her relationship with Nene: NeNe is such a good person. I don’t think you really find a lot of people in the same business that you bond with because I feel like everyone is so competitive and everybody is so worried about the next person doing more than them, and it’s not like that with her at all. She’s always trying to encourage me. She’s just always trying to uplift me, and I need people like that around me. I love that about her. There’s no jealousy. There’s no competition. We try to complement each other. I don’t pick my friends based on if they’re on a TV show or what they do, if they’re a celebrity. [NeNe] and I have something in common, and the same with Mashonda. It’s a real friendship. We don’t have to tweet each other every day. It’s genuine. We really do have a friendship outside of TV and all this. What do you think of the drama? On-the-DL couple Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have parted ways, a source confirms to E! News. Lovato’s rep has always been—and continues to be—mum on the subject, but we’re hearing that the age gap (she’s 19, he’s 31) just proved uncrossable for the duo. Meanwhile, though she never officially admitted to dating her longtime friend, Lovato did post a couple of suspect tweets today… First, she retweeted another girl’s tweet, a Marilyn Monroe quotation reading, “A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love, listens but doesn’t believe, and leaves before she is left.” Then Lovato added herself, “The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man.” News of the split—not to mention the cryptic tweets—comes after Valderrama randomly added Lovato’s ex, Joe Jonas, to his inner circle. As her father and manager; will not having her under your wings be a difficult transition for you? Interesting enough the transition started way before the official announcement. If you’re strategic, which we are, you don’t make a decision like that before you start dialogue. That dialogue started nine months ago. At the end of the day, I’m Beyonce’s father first and her manager second. Remember, this is 20 years I’ve been doing this. She’s almost 30 years old and if she says, “I want to run my business,” I think she’s smart enough that she will get the right team. Beyonce is smart enough to know what she knows and what she doesn’t know, and that takes an even smarter person to admit that. And she knows she can call me anytime. It takes a lot of hours and a lot of staff to run the business of Beyonce. (Laughs) How has Beyonce’s departure affected Music World’s momentum and relevance? Yahoo! Mail just conducted a poll of 2,000 people in the U.S, surveying them about their email behavior. One of the very surprising results to come out of the poll, is that 13% of adults think it is acceptable to break up with someone via email, IM, or text . What’s more, the study found that men are more likely than women to end a relationship this way. But that’s not all. The poll found that 1 in 5 people admit to having read their significant other’s email without their knowledge. When I read these stats, I had to go back and make sure that I had read it correctly, and not mistaken ‘adults’ for ‘teenagers’. But alas, I had not. I wasn’t really surprised with the finding that 70% of adults find it acceptable to send thank-you notes or cards via email, as I have already lamented the fact (even though I am guilty of it myself), that a lot of communication these days only happens via the web , but come on now, breaking up with someone over a text message or email! Really? And having no qualms about spying on your partner’s emails? That’s just straight up shady! A quick Google search about breaking up via email further baffled me. I found that there are entire sites dedicated to the online breakup, many of which claim the online breakup is best if you ‘don’t want to hurt the other person’, but really should be tag-lined as best if you ‘can’t stomach doing it in person’. There are convenient ‘how to’ guides , and even email templates for the ‘perfect’ breakup. Because, if it isn’t bad enough to break up with someone online, you can get someone else to write the breakup letter for you. Breaking up with someone using email or text message should never be acceptable. It is the coward’s way out and, in my opinion anyway, says a lot about you as a person (but I guess if you’re hacking into their emails, then I really shouldn’t expect any different). If you really don’t want to do it in person, at least be game enough to call. You’re most likely going to have to speak to them anyway, considering they will probably phone you after opening their email and reading your pathetic Dear John note, and the conversation is going to be a whole lot less pleasant after that than it needed to be.
