Source: Chris McKay / Getty Fabolous’ Georgetown Performance Was Cancelled Due To His Alleged History Of Domestic Violence According to XXL , Fabolous was supposed to be perform at Georgetown’s “Hoya Madness” event this weekend, but because of domestic abuse allegations , he won’t be hitting the stage. Earlier this week, Georgetown officials released a statement saying that Fab had been disinvited to the event. “After engaging with students, we have cancelled the musical act for 2019 Hoya Madness,” the statement reads in part. “We take domestic violence very seriously and were unaware of the charges against the entertainer when he was booked through a third-party entity. We are committed to enhanced vetting of future performers and doing all that we can to support a safe and respectful community.” Fabolous was scheduled to perform along with Big Tigger, Georgetown University’s cheerleaders and a pep band but the details of his recent indictment for domestic abuse charges last year after being arrested for allegedly attacking the mother of his son, Emily Bustamante, caused students to speak out against the performance. It seems like Fab and Em have put their differences to the side, but it looks like people are still not letting the Brooklyn rapper off the hook that easy.

Ronnie was tased, arrested, and charged with kidnapping. The Jersey Shore actor allegedly chased Jen with a knife…. while holding their 18-month-old child in his arms. Apparently, Jen told cops Ronnie lost it after doing cocaine. From TMZ : Ronnie and his GF, Jen — who’ve been on and off due to several violent incidents — got into another heated argument early Friday morning, shortly after 2:30 AM, at an Airbnb they’re renting in L.A. … according to our law enforcement sources. As we’ve seen in the past … the argument got out of hand quickly, because we’re told Ronnie allegedly slapped and punched Jen … who then went running out of the house, screaming for help. TMZ states cops received multiple calls about Jen being “in distress.” Our law enforcement sources say Ronnie gave chase … running after Jen, allegedly with a knife in his hand, and horrifyingly, also with their infant daughter! We’re told Ronnie was holding 18-month-old Ariana as he yelled at Jen to get back in the house. We’re told Ronnie eventually dropped the knife and locked himself and Ariana in the house. That’s where he was when police arrived on the scene, and he did not respond to their commands to come outside. Believing baby Ariana might be in danger, the police reportedly broke down the door to the house, at which point Ronnie still didn’t calm down… so they tased him. TMZ reports the girls suffered no major injuries, though Jen has visible marks on her face according to what the site is told. The site also states that 12 hours before the incident they were hand-in-hand, happy about getting back together although their loved ones warned against it… see that HERE .
Surprising news out of a Los Angeles County courtroom today, as Radar Online is reporting that Brian Hickerson — the controversial boyfriend of actress Hayden Panettiere — will not be charged with domestic assault . Hickerson was arrested back in May after police responded to a 911 call from Hayden’s neighbors. The case appeared to be open and shut, as neighbors testified that they heard sounds of an argument, followed by a female voice crying out in pain. It was later revealed that Hickerson had been charged with brutally beating Panettiere three times over the course of two days and was expected to serve time behind bars for the attacks. In a stunning turn of events, however, Panettiere refused to testify against her ex in court. According to Radar, Hayden’s family was contacted and informed that if the actress did not show up for today’s hearing, the prosecution would be left without witnesses and would have no choice but to drop the charges. It’s possible that the DA might subpoena Panettiere at a later date, which would mean re-filing charges against Hickerson. “If they subpoena her, they’d reopen the case,” a source close to the case tells Radar. The insider revealed that Hayden’s family is “disappointed” in the outcome but uncertain as to whether or not they should encourage the actress to take the steps necessary to see that Hickerson is brought to justice. “With all the evidence the police had, it’s not enough even without Hayden? It’s a fault in our judicial system,” says the informant. “It is not on Brian’s own good behavior that this got dismissed. It doesn’t change who is and what he has done. He is a criminal.” Despite the perceived miscarriage of justice, it seems likely that Hickerson will not face a second trial, as it appears that Hayden would prefer to simply move on with her life. According to the source, she and Hickerson “planned this” outcome, and the charges were “never going to go through” per an arrangement they reached ahead of the trial date. “It doesn’t shed a good light on Hayden,” says the insider. “It’s a bad choice to avoid the summons and not follow through,” the source continues. “It’s certainly not the end of the journey for Hayden or Brian.” We’d like to point out that it’s important to avoid victim-shaming in a case such as this, and it’s crucial Hayden do whatever is best for her mental health If there’s any bright side to this situation, it’s that Hayden and Brian appear to have finally parted ways. Unfortunately, it looks as though the actress and her ex still run in the same social circle due to the fact that Panettiere is now dating Hickerson’s brother . In the footage, she has what clearly seems to be some recent bite marks and scratches from what could be some sort of altercation. Weirdly, while she was recording him and describing her alleged abuse, Drama didn’t seem to phased at all. Hopefully he releases a statement soon and we have more details on the whole matter. This definitely isn’t a good look off the heels of being the rumored cause of the Drake’s ghost writing allegations and months of Lil Uzi claiming DJ Drama has been doing him wrong business-wise and finally taking his talents to Roc Nation. As soon as the news broke that Jay Smith and Kayle O’Brien broke up , fans wondered if he might try to get back with Ashley. He had a much better life with her than she had with him. And the rumors sounded plausible after they showed up at the same event. Now, Ashley is telling 90 Day Fiance fans exactly what’s really going on, and why she and Jay were “together.” Over the weekend — around the same time as Jay’s split with his mistress-turned-girlfriend Kayla — Jay and Ashley appeared at the same venue. That’s odd for exes, especially bitter ones. In fact, it may have been a violation of Ashley’s protective order that is supposed to keep Jay at bay. “Was it weird being at the same event with Jay?” one of her devoted followers asked on Instagram. “It’s expected we both filmed the same show,” Ashley replied, expressing a cavalier attitude. Ashley continued: “I just do my thing and handle my business.” “Why are you and Jay acting like you didn’t hang out last night?” another, more confrontational and accusatory, follower asked. “Where did you see me to know how I’m ‘acting’ about last nights appearance,” Ashley clapped back. “I have not responded about what I did or didn’t do at the event,” she clarified. Ashley continued: “Please don’t state I’m acting some type of way.” “…stop creating stories in your head!” she concluded. That’s very good advice (unless you’re a writer). The venue in question, by the way, was an OK Magazine party. Honestly, the magazine should have known better than to invite both exes. Fine normally, not fine when there’s a domestic violence prevention order. Another guest was Bachelor in Paradise ‘s Christian Estrada, who is notably rumored to be dating Ashley. The most exciting guest of the night was probably Tyler Cameron — who did not have Gigi Hadid with him. (We don’t think that this means that their relationship is in trouble so much as that Gigi has no need to attend an OK Magazine party) We’re sure that it was a large enough crowd that Ashley and Jay could avoid rubbing elbows. Early this summer, Ashley went on a much-needed family vacation. After months of stress, it was the perfect getaway. Unfortunately, during her absence, Jay allegedly broke into her home — months after separation — and took things. Given what Ashley says is a documented history of abuse during their relationship, police advised her to get a PFA. On July 1, Ashley obtained that Protection From Abuse order from the court and Jay was barred from approaching her or discussing the order. Unfortunately, just one day later, he broke the PFA, publicly discussing the order. Police saw it on Instagram. Jay was at least wise enough to voluntarily surrender instead of forcing police to arrest him. Because he is not a legal resident, Jay was placed in ICE custody. He spent the majority of July behind bars and was miserable. (As abhorrent as ICE’s recent crimes against humanity may be, it’s not easy to sympathize with a dude who deliberately broke a restraining order) However, his boss at the tattoo shop wrote up a check and paid his bail once the court actually set bail for him. Jay was free. Honestly, after all of that, you would think that Jay would be more careful about the PFA order. Ashley probably could have made Jay’s life miserable this weekend, but clearly opted to do otherwise. Jay’s recent ex, Kayla, seems to think that Ashley is capricious and wants to lure Jay close to her so that she can call the police. Of course, she has that impression of Ashley because her knowledge of Jay’s ex-wife all comes through Jay. Consider the source, folks. On Friday, one chapter of the college admissions bribery scandal came to a close. In a Boston courtroom, actress Felicity Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in prison for paying an admissions consultant $15,000 to have a proctor correct her daughter’s answers on the SAT. Dozens of affluent parents were ensnared in the FBI’s “Varsity Blues” sting operation, and along with fellow actress Lori Loughlin, Huffman came to embody the unchecked entitlement that led to such rampant cheating on behalf of already-privileged young people. When word of Huffman’s sentencing got out, thoughts turned to Loughlin and what the news might mean for her. Unlike Huffman, Loughlin rejected a plea deal and plans to fight the charges against her in court. At first, there were reports that the sentencing might actually be good news for Loughlin, as it amounted to a defeat for prosecutors — a defeat that might lead them to offer a second plea deal. Now, however, an insider tells Fox News that even if a second deal is offered, it will certainly involve jail time for the actress. “If she’s found guilty, she will go to jail; that is clear. And if another deal is offered to her, which I don’t think it will be, she will go to jail,” the source said. “Her only chance of avoiding jail is to beat these charges. Lori is a smart woman; she understands that,” the insider continued. “She’s scared and upset, but she’s resolved to be strong and to fight this. She will do what she has to do to protect herself and her family.” Considering the charges against Loughlin are far more serious (she allegedly doled out $500,000 in bribes to Huffman’s $15,00) it seems almost certain that she’ll be going from Full House to the big house. She stands accused of bribing admissions officials so that both of her daughters would be accepted to USC as members of the crew team — even though neither of them had ever rowed before. Loughlin is still holding out hope that she’ll beat the charges — but that seems increasingly unlikely in the wake of Huffman’s sentencing. She and her husband — fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli — are playing the ignorance card and claiming they didn’t know they were doing anything wrong. But legal experts say that didn’t work for Huffman, and it won’t work Loughlin. “The government doesn’t have to prove that Loughlin and Giannulli knew what the payments were used for,” said attorney Neama Rahmani. ” The fraudulent application to USC is enough to support the conspiracy charges. And there is more than enough circumstantial evidence to prove that they knew the payments were for an illicit or unlawful purpose.” The source says Loughlin regrets not accepting the original deal from prosecutors, but he claims her reason for doing so is that she did not fully understand the charges against her. “She didn’t understand the entire nature of the charges against her, and she wasn’t even sure if or how she had broken the law. It was very early, and she didn’t have all the information that she has now,” the source said. “Based on what she understood at the time, she made the best choice for herself. Now there is no deal on the table, and she has to have faith that the courts and the prosecution will move fairly and not make an example out of her.” Of course, the reality of Lori’s situation has come into stark clarity in the days since Huffman’s sentencing. Despite her bleak prospects, however, it seems Loughlin still has not come to grips with the fact that she’ll likely be doing time. “This has been a rough day,” the source says. “Lori is going to move forward as best as she can, but now she has a little more clarity about what will happen next.”

Now, Jay Smith and his sidepiece-turned-girlfriend Kayal have split. Kayla is opening up about where they went wrong, and why she now fears for Jay’s stability. Kayla O’Brien was there to pick up Jay when he emerged from ICE custody at the tail end of July. Now, Kayle is opening up to RadarOnline on her relationship with the notorious cheater and how they have now broken up. “We were happy,” Kayla characterizes their relationship. “We always had a good time together.” Depending upon whom you ask, Kayla and Jay may have been together as far back as January. “We didn’t fight,” she claims. “We still acted like best friends.” Even when things were good, Kayla admits, she “always did way more for him” in the relationship. “Deep down, I think he is a good person, but he’s just lost,” Kayla suggests. “He was just moving on his own motives,” she describes. “And I had mine as well.” “We’re different people,” she points out. “Who value different things.” It’s always so interesting to hear women making all kinds of excuses for men. Society conditions them to do so from a very young age. Still, it’s clear that the general horniness wore off and she could see him clearly: “He’s a mess. I wish him peace.” Over the weekend, Jay showed up at the same event as Ashley — who has a protective order preventing him from approaching her. “God help him if he’s messing with Ashley again,” Kayla laments. “All I can think of is all the hard work to reverse the damage,” she worries. “There’s a current PFA,” Kayla points out. “If she turns on him again he’s so f–ked.” She’s at a loss, expressing: “I don’t know why he would put himself in that position… I feel sorry for him.” So, what was their relationship really like? “He was loyal for a period,” Kayla says. “And good to me for a period,” she adds. “But,” Kayla admits. “That’s all I want to say.” Wow. Sounds like a prince. “I am proud of myself to have loved him and done what I did for him,” Kayla claims. “Regardless of if he appreciates it now or not,” she insists. “He needed me and I will always be that person.” “Anyone I love will have unconditional love and support,” Kayla asserts. “And,” she concludes. “He can’t take that from me.” That last line … implies a lot of unspoken misery. I do feel sorry for that girl. In the mean time, Jay decided to post some thirst traps to Instagram now that he’s single again. Back in July, Amber Portwood was arrested on domestic violence charges after allegedly assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon. At the time, several of Portwood's Teen Mom OG castmates stood by her side, including Catelynn Lowell, who tweeted that fans should wait until they have all the facts and refrain from rushing to judgment. Of course, Lowell's comments were made prior to the release of shocking new audio recordings in which Portwood can be heard threatening to stab Glennon . Now, Catelynn is speaking out again — but instead of defending Amber, she's defending victims everywhere. Take a look: 1. Well folks, we’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is, it looks as though Hayden Panettierre has finally parted ways with her abusive boyfriend, Brian Hickerson . The bad news is, it appears that she’s now dating Brian’s brother, Zach Hickerson. We don’t mean to suggest that Zach is necessarily a bad guy because of his association with Brian. It’s just one of the situations that seems likely to end badly, ya know? News of the romantic shakeup comes to us courtesy of Radar Online. A source tells the site that this is no mere fling, and Hayden and Zach have been in a relationship for several months now. “It’s a very strange set of circumstances,” says the insider. “I don’t know if it’s better than the alternative,” claims the source, identified only as a “concerned friend.” “How strange it may be, the one positive thing about this is Zach is certainly not the violent temper that Brian is.” Obviously, that’s a good thing. But it’s hard not be concerned for Hayden’s safety knowing that she’s still in Hickerson’s social circle following what we assume was a very messy breakup. Hickerson stands accused of assaulting Panettiere several times over the course of a single week earlier this year. To the chagrin of her family and friends, Hayden stayed with Brian despite the allegations. Currently, Hickerson is awaiting trial on domestic violence charges that could land him behind bars form a very long time. Hayden has yet to confirm her new relationship but she was recently spotted on what appeared to be a date with Zach. “They were walking hand-in-hand, talking and laughing together,” says the source. “She was jumping up and down making funny faces, and he was flexing his muscles and laughing. They looked happy together.” The insider adds that Hayden and Zach have “been involved for two months now.” “Those close to Hayden are not going to pretend to understand it or condone it,” but “there’s nothing anyone can do,” claims the informant. “She has been reluctant to talk about it because she knows how people feel — it’s definitely something she would not want to discuss.,” the insider adds. “And she doesn’t want to share too much especially because of what’s going on with Brian and his legal issues.” Brian Hickerson’s jury trial begins in Los Angeles court on September 24.
