Hulk Hogan and his former best friend have made up. Legally speaking, at least. The ex-WWE champion has settled his lawsuit with Bubba the Love Sponge, a DJ he initially believed was behind the leaking of the Hulk Hogan sex tape . Terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, but Bubba released a letter today stating he no longer thinks Hogan knew he was being recorded. “It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way,” Bubba wrote. The Love Sponge had previously hinted that Hogan may have played a role in making the tape public. Hulk, meanwhile, is still moving forward with his $100 million lawsuit against Gawker Media for publishing a snippet of the sex romp on its website. He is also seeking damages from Heather Clem , his sex tape costar and, naturally, Bubba’s ex-wife.

The DJ took to his radio show this morning and responded to his ex-best friend, who has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Bubba (real name: Todd Clem) and Heather Clem , the former couple (pictured) Hogan believes is behind the release of his sex tape. Without explicitly denying his involvement in the video, Bubba said he hasn’t seen it and hinted on air that Hogan may “have had something to do with the leak of it.” He also spoke VERY unfavorably about the iconic wrestler. “He’s a one-way piece of crap who doesn’t care about anyone but himself,” said Bubba, adding that Hogan is “the ultimate lying showman.” Acknowledging that he gave Hulk permission to sleep with his ex-wife in 2006, Bubba said Hogan wasn’t exactly coerced into sex with Heather Clem. “Nobody put a gun to your head,” he said. “You can’t play the victim like that.” Hogan alleges that his privacy was invaded and his legal team has demanded all copies of the sex tape be destroyed. We agree. Who the heck wants to watch this 59-year old have intercourse?!?

But TMZ has seen the final few minutes of the 30-minute tape , which concludes with Hogan’s good friend – a DJ who goes by the moniker “Bubba the Love Sponge” – actually appearing on screen and telling Clem: “If we ever did want to retire, all we’d have to do is use this footage.” Oh, right: Bubba was formerly married to Clem and, according to Hogan, was given permission to sleep with her six years ago when the tape was filmed. Clem does not sound enthusiastic about selling out Hulk, shooting down Bubba’s idea and forcing him to recant on video. Asked about the seeming certainty that his best friend played a role in releasing the tape now, Hogan – who has filed a police report and seems intent on tracking down the culprit – tells TMZ: “I’m sick to my stomach” over that likelihood. He also says he confronted Bubba over the possibility after the video first surfaced on Gawker and told him: “If you had anything to do with this, that means we were never friends.” Where does it go from here? Will charges be filed against Bubba? Was Hogan actually in on it and this is all an elaborate ruse? A long con? All we know is this: we’ve spent way too long thinking about a 59-year old man naked.
Already embroiled in controversy over her recent disclosure of diabetes , Paula Deen is now accused of sexual harassment in the termination of an employee. The queen of Southern fried cooking nixed allegedly philandering general manager of one of her restaurants because, as she put it, “If you think I have worked this hard to lose everything because of a piece of p**sy, you better think again.” Paula replaced the G.M. with a woman, and now she’s suing Paula and her brother for … sexual harassment. That qualifies as irony right there. Lisa Jackson worked as G.M. for Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House in Savannah, Ga., from 2005-2010. Paula’s brother, Bubba Hiers, is part owner with Paula. Lisa claims Bubba brought “inescapable pornography” to the workplace all the time, often visiting XXX websites on the kitchen computer and failing to log off. Smart. According to the suit, Bubba allegedly asked Lisa to bring pics of herself to work, photos of her when she was younger, telling her, “You have nice legs.” Bubba also told Lisa two women at the restaurant were “fat girls” and shouldn’t be wearing capri pants or skirts. Lisa also says Bubba once told another female employee who had just received dentures, “I bet your husband is going to like that.” Lisa goes on to say that Bubba once told a joke to the staff that described why men should have sex with women who had flat heads … “because you can sit your beer on top of her head while she is giving you a b**w job.” And Lisa says Bubba is racist, using the N word a lot and making racist jokes. There’s a lot more, including alleged violent behavior on Bubba’s part and an incident where he allegedly kissed Lisaand spit on her.
