The supermodel, talk show host, mom and actress talks about her career and delves into dealing with an abusive boyfriend. “I remember being kind of judgmental for women that were in bad relationships. I’m like ‘Come on, just get out!’ Like ‘What are you doing?’” She then reveals it wasn’t until she was in her own emotionally abusive relationship that she understood how difficult it is to leave. Don’t think of this as some side hobby. The Ethiiopian born teen has partnered with jeweler Robert Procop to release a line called Zahara Collection. Robert Procop is a designer favorite of Angelina Jolie, so I’m sure mom had something to do with this connection. In 2012, Angelina Jolie partnered with Procop on a collection titled Style of Jolie. Robert Procop is also the designer behind Angelina Jolie’s 16 carat engagement ring which Brad Pitt used to propose. She wore her self-titled jewels on the red carpet, consisting of three emerald cut pieces. She wore tear drop earrings, a bracelet, and a beautiful ring. To show off the yellow jewels she wore her braids half up, half down and chose a black satin gown. She’s growing into quite the beauty! The jewelry collection has citrine as the featured gemstone. However, it also includes white and pink quartz jewels and pink sapphire pieces. This sounds like red carpet perfection. If you think this is a money making idea, the daughter of the philanthropist is following in her mother’s footsteps. The press release revealed, “All proceeds from the Collection will benefit the Los Angeles-based House of Ruth Shelters, which provided transitional housing for battered women and children.” The Zahara Collection will be available at select Saks Fifth Avenue locations and other exclusive retailers in both the U.S. and Australia beginning in November. Rip Taylor, one of the more flamboyant, colorful and memorable comedians of his generation, died in Beverly Hills on Sunday. He was 84 years old. Taylor’s publicist, Harlan Boll, confirmed this sad piece of news last night, although no cause of death has been confirmed to the public. Early in his career, Taylor realized that the more he exaggerated the gag… the bigger the laugh he drew, thereby overemphasizing everything — from his shaggy blonde toupee and bushy mustache to the zany props that were the basis of his bits. The star’s jokes were delivered with shrieking gusto at nearly all times. He started his career as a stand-up comic in nightclubs and later made his breakthrough with appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. Dubbed the “King of Camp and Confetti” and “The Crying Comedian,” Taylor also rose to popularity due to appearances on “The Merv Griffin Show” and lots of other variety talk shows as a comic in the 1960s. He was famous for dousing his audience with buckets of colored paper, as anyone attending a Rip Taylor performance had to expect to be wearing confetti by the end of the show. Explained Taylor in 2011: “I did props and I was ‘The Prop Comedian.’ I was dying like hell on Merv Griffin’s show. The jokes were dumb, and I tore the 5 by 8 cards, threw them up in the air and it became confetti. “I knocked over his desk, walked up the aisle, went to Sardi’s and said, ‘Well, that’s the end of my television career.’ I went home that night. Their switchboard had lit up. “They said, ‘Get the guy that went crazy!’ And that is how the confetti started.” Taylor also “the $1.98 Beauty Show,” which featured guests compete for the title of the “1.98 Beauty Queen” in a pageant, talent-show format. Aside from these talk show gigs, Taylor ended up in numerous movies and television shows. One of his more memorable big-screen appearances came when he played himself in Wayne’s World 2. At one point, a quest by Wayne to put on WayneStock, the ultimate music festival, garnered stature when Taylor agreed to attend as a special guest. “Rip Taylor’s going to be there,” Mike Myers’ main character told Cassandra Wong in this scene, trying to convince her to perform. “Rip Taylor? He’s a god in my country,” she replies. “He gets mobbed in the street.” Taylor also played parts in The Dukes of Hazzard and all three Jackass movies. On TV, you may remember Rip from such programs as “Sigmund and the Sea Monsters,” “The Brady Bunch Variety Hour,” “Santa Barbara” and other smaller roles along the way. He was the subject of a 2016 documentary, Rip Rip Hooray and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1992. Taylor was briefly married to showgirl Rusty Rowe, but got divorced soon after. Many wondered why but most quickly pointed out exhaustion from how hard he’s been working and lets face it the music industry is the devil and besides the money everything else is a headache and all bad. Lil Nas X has been in Atlanta laying low and visiting his old high-school even doing an exclusive interview there about his young days and “praying his homosexuality would go away” . With him laying low you’d think people would let him be. Of course thats not going to happen as he’s been slapped with yet ANOTHER lawsuit claiming he stole a song. The song in question is his collaboration with Cardi B “Rodeo”. According to TMZ , Producer Brandon Lee says his song was hijacked without any permission what so ever, so he’s suing everyone he can think of. He claims a song he wrote which ended up becoming a song called “Broad Day” is almost the same song. they’re both built on a 4-measure phrase outlining the cord progression E, F, G, F, E. He also says the tempo is the same, both songs utilize guitar and wind instruments, the drumbeats are the same, the chord progression is similar … among other things. The video above has barely reached 10k views but the producer claims the song was very popular around Atlanta where Lil Nas X is from. In his lawsuit he names Lil Nas X, Cardi B, Sony Music, Columbia record & Cardi’s former manager, Klenord Raphael. With Cardi B being a guest it doesn’t make sense why he is suing her but if he’s suing her FORMER manager as well something tells us there is more to this story and Cardi is just being hit with a stray bullet. On an upcoming episode of WeTv’s “Untold Stories Of Hip Hop,” rapper Cardi B opens up about being sexually harassed early on in her career. “I will never forget how I went to shoot for this magazine and the photographer, he was trying to get close to me like, ‘Yeah, you want to get in this magazine?’ Then he pulled his d— out,” Cardi told host Angie Martinez in a clip obtained by PEOPLE. “I was so f—ing mad, and I was just like, ‘This is crazy.’” Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news. Scary news from America’s most famous family today. Kylie Jenner revealed this afternoon that she was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment on Sunday night. Kylie was scheduled to appear on stage at 2019 Emmys , but was forced to skip the ceremony due to illness. Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner presented the award for Outstanding Reality Competition, and it seems they were supposed to be joined by Kylie. Instead, they were forced to put on brave faces as their youngest sister was being treated for severe flu-like symptoms. Like her sisters, Kylie is thoroughly committed to her career as a public figure. So it’s unlikely that she would have missed the awards for any mild discomfort. Adding to the concern among fans is the fact that Kylie will miss Paris Fashion Week, where she was scheduled to appear at a promotional event for her wildly popular cosmetics line . “Hi guys! Collider is reporting that Will Smith will take on the role of the Harlem crime boss in the Netflix film The Council . Per Collider: Concussion filmmaker Peter Landesman wrote the script, which delves into the never-before-told story of a crime syndicate consisting of seven African-American men who ruled Harlem in the 1970s and early ’80s. This was no ordinary crime syndicate, as the men dreamed of a self-sufficient and self-policing African American city-state, funded by revolutionizing the drug game. The movie centers on the Shakespearean court intrigue between The Council’s king, Nicky Barnes, dubbed “Mr. Untouchable” by the New York Times, and all the different members — as one unlikely rising protégé emerges. The Council won’t be Barnes first time on the big screen. In 2007’s American Gangster he was portrayed by Cuba Gooding Jr. and wasn’t too pleased that story revolved around Lucas. Barnes was arrested and sentenced to life in prison without parole. He eventually became a federal informant after he became upset with how his criminal empire was being run while he was behind bars. Barnes was released in 1998 and placed in witness protection. He passed away in 2012, information about his death wasn’t released until this year.
