Usually when I do a post on Emily Osment , I have a little trouble remembering why she’s famous, but not this time. That’s right, I remember exactly what Emily’s big break was: giving yours truly a serious pants fire the first time she busted out that A-list cleavage of hers. It’s a major moment in any young hottie’s career, and now here she is busting out again at the red carpet premiere for some lame web series. I take full credit, obviously. » view all 11 photos Photos: WENN.com

Do you want the good news or the bad news first? Well, the bad news is that today’s wide release, Thor: The Dark World , has zero nudity in it. Zilch, zippo. The good news is that Jaimie Alexander , who plays the goddess Sif, made up for the lack of skin onscreen by showing off her carpet at the red carpet premiere in L.A. Her sheer paneled dress left no room for unsightly items like bra and panties, and one intrepid photog knew just the right spot to capture that perfect angle. Behold, Jaimie’s goddess-like gluteus and un- S.H.I.E.L.D.-ed hairpie after the jump!

‘God, that was a high, high bar to set,’ Lawrence said of her character Katniss’ combustible costume. By Kevin P. Sullivan, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Jennifer Lawrence attends the world premiere of “The Hunger Games” Photo: Getty Images She is the Girl on Fire. The one who won the role from a field of Hollywood’s hottest actresses. She’s Jennifer Lawrence , the center of all the attention when she walked the black carpet at the premiere of “The Hunger Games” Monday night in Los Angeles. The night was the culmination of a storied journey, and Lawrence strolled the carpet with the confidence of the Hunger Games champion, but to the disappointment of just about everyone but Lawrence, she wasn’t on fire. “Was everybody disappointed that I wasn’t set on fire? God, that was a high, high bar to set. ‘Oh, darn it, she didn’t set herself on fire,’ ” she told MTV News’ Josh Horowitz. “That’s unfair. I don’t ever want to have to put myself on fire. Why am I constantly disappointing myself when I’m not putting my life in danger? That’s not right.” Fans, or tributes as they call themselves, camped outside the Nokia Theater for hours just to get a glimpse of the stars of their most anticipated movie. As a thank you, Lawrence went to meet the fans earlier in the day. “It was incredible, such support,” Lawrence said. “It was the least I could do. It was so nice of them.” But even with all the expectations of those fans and the pressure that comes with it, Lawrence insisted that she’s kept a pretty calm head through all of this. “You know me. I never fully absorb anything. I just get through the day,” she said. A bit of a rude awakening for Lawrence, she told MTV News that she found out on the carpet from a different outlet that her training for the next film, “Catching Fire,” begins earlier than she expected. “I’ve just been told from E! that my training schedule starts in June,” she said. “I thought I had a couple months off. I guess not.” But what lethal skills she’ll be taking on for her next appearance at Katniss Everdeen, Lawrence has yet to find out. “I don’t know. I have to go ask E! if I have to brush up on my bow or if we covered that last time or if I have to do agility again,” she said. ‘No one should be surprised that Angelina Jolie is as capable behind the camera as in front of it,’ one critic says of globetrotting Oscar winner. By Kara Warner Zana Marjanovic in “In the Land of Blood and Honey” Photo: GK Films For her directorial debut, “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” Angelina Jolie chose to helm a harrowing, unrelenting drama set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War that highlights the horrors of the ethnic conflict that ravaged the region in the 1990s. To say that it is not a feel-good film is an understatement. The critics are almost completely divided on whether Jolie’s effort, which scored a Golden Globe nomination for Best Foreign Film, is a success. Read on as we sift through the reviews of “In the Land of Blood and Honey.” The Story “Eight years ago Jolie starred in a film, ‘Beyond Borders,’ in which she sashayed around global hot spots in elegant outfits like a fashion model on a shoot. Almost as if in atonement, ‘Blood and Honey’ is nothing like that, quite the contrary, in fact, as it centers on the queasy relationship between a captor, a Serbian army officer responsible for rounding up Muslims or otherwise making them disappear in Bosnia, and a female prisoner, a woman he was interested in prior to the war and is now able to exploit, but also protect, as his ‘personal property.’ ” — Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter The Direction “Because Jolie is known for her very public passions, which have progressed from the relative simplicity of the carnal to a globally-oriented expression of the maternal, the relatively sedate tone of ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’ is unexpected. The systematic use of rape as a weapon of war is depicted with discretion (the brutality was far more vivid in ‘The Whistleblower,’ another 2011 Bosnian war-themed release). Jolie might show a shrieking woman being carried away by a soldier in the background, but she keeps much of the horror offscreen, at a remove from Ajla. Meanwhile, her scenes with Danijel read as lovers taking pleasure in each other’s company, legs and limbs tangled languidly in the sheets. … No one should be surprised that Angelina Jolie is as capable behind the camera as in front of it; why wouldn’t she be? Here’s an Oscar winner who travels the world on behalf of the United Nations listening to horror stories from refugees; processing pain is a regular sideline for her.” — Mary Pols, Time The Performances “Jolie’s actors [Zana Marjanovic, Goran Kostic, Vanesa Glodjo], all from the former Yugoslavia and unknown in the West except for the superb veteran character actor Rade Serbedzija, give magnetic, raw performances. Their commitment helps us through a movie that is often harrowing, never less than intense but important, one unafraid of moments too many have chosen to forget.” — Joe Neumaier, New York Daily News The Final Word “Considering the historical, ethical and technical challenges in the mix — a first-time director recreating a war of ethnic cleansing on a bombs-and-bullets level, with charged issues or power and abuse, along with the challenge of shooting in a second language in a foreign land — it is not patronizing to suggest that Ms. Jolie’s first film is an ambitious step forward that promises more, and better, in the future. The film may have more in ambition than it does in execution, but it deserves to be taken seriously as a debut by someone who may yet be as natural and assured behind the camera as she seems to be in front of it.” — James Rocchi, MSN.com Check out everything we’ve got on “In the Land of Blood and Honey.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Actor Tom Hiddleston says, ‘Every day, there is magic that will happen.’ By Kevin P. Sullivan Tom Hiddleston in “War Horse” Photo: DreamWorks “He is the master.” At the premiere of “War Horse,” praise like this for the movie’s director wasn’t hard to come by. For Tom Hiddleston , working with a director as talented as Steven Spielberg meant more than just acting under a guy who has made dozens of timeless films. Hiddleston told MTV News on the red carpet premiere of “War Horse” that working with Spielberg was more like a crash course in classic movie magic. Spielberg recently directed the “Thor” star in “War Horse,” a World War I-era drama about the connection between a boy and his horse. Hiddleston shared a few of the lessons he learned from the legendary director. “He’s a master craftsman,” he said. “And what I learned from him, really, is that he’s so impeccably prepared.” Hiddleston recalled Spielberg’s habit of storyboarding many of the film’s scenes, but that never stopped the director from making changes on the fly and running with them. “He turns up on set every day with an open mind and an open heart, because he still doesn’t know where the magic is. And every day, there is magic that will happen.” But for Spielberg to find that magic, he has to keep both this cast and crew on their toes. For Hiddleston, this often meant changing direction on a moment’s notice. “He just has to be sharp enough and on point enough that he’s there to catch it and to keep his crew nimble and fleet of foot,” Hiddleston explained. “So that if he suddenly sees something like the sun’s in a particular place or something’s happening between two actors, or in this case, an actor and a horse, that he can capture that, the beauty of the accident, and it lasts forever on film.” Check out everything we’ve got on “War Horse.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

‘Twilight’ star recalls singing karaoke at a Lubbock, Texas, bar as the best day of his life. By Eric Ditzian Robert Pattinson Photo: Warner Bros. Robert Pattinson is everywhere these days as he promotes his upcoming romantic drama “Water for Elephants.” But leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to plumb fresh (and often endearingly bizarre) territory with the 24-year-old star. When RPattz stopped by “Ellen” — the pre-taped interviewed aired Wednesday (April 20) — their conversation ranged from his choice of underwear to why he’s more comfortable around wild animals than people to one of the best days of his life. That day came last fall, when he popped into a bar in Lubbock, Texas (home of Texas Tech’s 30,000 students) to sing a little karaoke. Before he knew it, though, a mob had gathered outside. But the police locked down the area and Pattinson and a friend were free to belt out tunes like R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly.” “We got stuck in the bar for hours and hours because there was this big crowd outside,” said Rob, who was content to hang out and sing. “It was one of the best days of my life!” A less exceptional event took place on the set of “Breaking Dawn,” when Rob, who confessed he doesn’t know how to use a washing machine, ran out of underwear and had to wear a pair branded with Ellen’s show logo. “I was doing the last ‘Twilight’ movie, and I only had one pair left and they were those ones,” he explained. “For some reason I think the shape of my body — my back is too long or something — so my ass is constantly hanging out. … We were doing this big fight, and every shot has these ‘Ellen’ underpants. It came to a point where producers [were] calling up my agent going, ‘I don’t know what he is up to, but I don’t like it.’ ” That was an awkward day on set, Pattinson laughed. Much more comfortable, he later added, was working with animals on the set of “Water for Elephants.” “I think it’s a tradeoff about being really nervous around humans,” he said. “I can walk into a room with tigers and be completely OK with them. I don’t know why. But I walk into a bar or something, and I’m like, ‘Uhhhh.’ It’s very strange.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Water for Elephants.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
