I’m assuming you’ve probably heard of the Mannequin Challenge by now, but just in case you only use the Internet for important things (you know, like looking up bikini pictures), it’s pretty much exactly like the stupid Ice Bucket Challenge that was going around a couple years ago, only without the whole raising-money-for-a-good-cause thing. Anyway, normally, I think all these viral video trends are lame, and I get burnt out on them in under 24 hours. But then I saw the one Joanna Krupa did, and I take it all back. OK nerds, this one’s for you: according to my sources, these shots of Elizabeth Banks all covered in dirt and dressed in green spandex aren’t from one of those artsy “high-fashion” photoshoots I never understand. They’re the first look at her character in the new Power Rangers movie. And I’m guessing that’s probably giving at least a few of you nerd boners right now. A slight damper was placed on Halloween this year for the Kardashians and Jenners. Why? Because Kim Kardashian did not get dressed up and hit the town. Over the years, Kim had rocked some memorable Halloween costumes , sometimes more than one per holiday. But she’s still recovering from the trauma of this month’s armed robbery in Paris, avoiding the press and the public in general. We don’t blame her. It’s been just over a week since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, and the story shows no signs of leaving the headlines any time soon. It doesn’t help that there are new reports that the robbery was exposed as fake in recently leaked footage that appears to show the reality star calmly FaceTiming just moments after she was allegedly bound and gaged. Then there are the stories over the public’s reaction to Kim’s terrifying ordeal… As with anything Kardashian-related there were jokes aplenty on social media in the days after the robbery took place. Some fellow celebs expressed outrage over the fact that so many saw fit to make light of Kim’s victimization. For the most part, their pleas for empathy fell on deaf ears, as thousands expressed their belief that Kim brought the theft on herself by making a living flaunting her wealth in a world full of have-nots. Many didn’t see Kim as a particularly sympathetic figure to begin with, and reports that the robbery was an inside job orchestrated by a member of her inner circle, or possibly even altogether staged, haven’t helped her situation. Now, online retailer Costumeish has hit Kim with the ultimate low blow in the form of a costume that turns her horrifying ordeal into a punchline: Technically, it’s a “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Kit” that’s currently selling on the site for $69.95, but clearly, it’s based on the latest Kim scandal. The members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are no strangers to controversial Halloween garb. Last year a Caitlyn Jenner costume stirred up controversy in the weeks leading up to the holiday. Even after Caitlyn gave fans permission to wear the costume, many still decried it as distasteful at best, transphobic at worst. We doubt Kim will be offering her fans a similar pass. The 35-year-old mother of two is currently suing the website Media TakeOut, alleging that it published three erroneous articles accusing her of staging the robbery. Everybody breathe. We’re all just starting to settle down after hearing the news that indeed, for realsies this time, Blac Chyna is pregnant with Rob Kardashian’s baby . The newly engaged couple just announced the pregnancy about an hour ago on Instagram by posting this emoji of Blac: Yep, it’s happening. And word travels fast, because Blac’s ex-fiance and father of her first child, Tyga, has already wished them well on Instagram. “Congratulations,” he wrote alongside Blac’s pregnancy announcement, and included a celebratory party favor emoji. We’re very curious what Tyga’s girlfriend Kylie Jenner thinks about his salutations, because the last time he offered his well wishes to the couple, she flipped out . After Rob and Blac got engaged, the rapper expressed his happiness for them on Twitter. “It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy,” wrote Tyga, who shares a three-year-old son, King Cairo, with Blac. It pissed off Kylie, who had been feuding with Blac for more than a year, because she instructed him not to say anything until she did. Rumors that Blac was pregnant with Rob’s baby started circling almost since they first started dating in January. The last report surfaced about three weeks ago , and it looks as though it may have been accurate. Soooo, sometimes those gossip rags are right, y’all! Holy crud. There’s still no word on how far along Blac is, but most women wait until after the first trimester to make the announcement. That would mean Rob put a bun in that oven after about a month of dating. Kanye West Kanye West’s rants are stuff for the ages, but his Twitter tirades in 2016 led friends to suggest he needed mental counseling. After going off on Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose, Kanye declared himself $53 million in debt and asked Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for a loan. Shortly afterwards, he threw a widely publicized tantrum backstage during an appearance on Saturday Night Live. 4. Amanda Bynes Amanda Bynes alarmed fans by engaging in deeply erratic behavior starting in 2010, insulting other celebs on Twitter and announcing her retirement from acting. She was arrested after throwing a bong out the window of her New York City apartment and her mental health was questioned. Her mother finally assumed conservatorship over Bynes when she was placed on a 5150 hold. 5. Mel Gibson After Mel Gibson was arrested for drunk driving in 2006, the actor unleashed a slew of antisemitic statements against Jews and called a police officer “sugar tits.” Later, Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva released tapes in which he admits to abusing her and makes a number of sexist statements, racial slurs and even death threats against her. 6. Tila Tequila Tila Tequila is another celeb whose mental health has been a concern, particularly in 2016 when she posted bizarre tweets claiming the earth was flat and that she had an alien brain.
