Kim Kardashian: My Dress Caught Fire and Pharrell Saved My Life!

Either Kim Kardashian is having the weirdest pregnancy ever, or she’s seriously intent on stealing the spotlight from Caitlyn Jenner by whatever means necessary. It’s only been two days since we first learned that Kim is pregnant with her second child and she’s already showed the world her boobs and had a near-death experience. Allow us to explain: First, Kim posted her nipples on Instagram , because that’s just what Kim does. Then she went went to CFDA Fashion Awards, because that’s another Kim-like activity to partake in. Then she caught fire and Pharrell saved her life, because….we have no idea. Mrs. West posted the above photo today along with a caption reading, “Shout out to Pharrell and Helen who saved my life last night…After the awards at dinner the feathers of my dress caught fire & they jumped on me to get it out.” We hope Pharrell learned his lesson about wearing a normal-sized hat. If he had been rocking his ginormous Arby’s jump-off, he could’ve just smothered the flames with that. Anyway, the Wests have credited Pharrell with giving them the idea to name their first baby North, so we’re hoping after the fire was out, dude was all, “Wow, that was wild. Hey…Wild West would make a pretty cool baby name.” Fingers crossed.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have given themselves an early Christmas present. According to E! News, the famous couple will welcome its second child into the world in late December, likely around the holidays. This makes it very possible that little South West (we’re just assuming here…) could share a birthday with cousins Mason Disick and Reign Disick, both of whom were born on December 14. “It really has been a really long journey for us and we didn’t think it was possible,” Kardashian told E! News Monday night at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards. “We are so, so grateful and so thankful. We’re like over the moon.” Those who tuned in to watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online throughout Season 10 saw how greatly Kim was suffering from the difficulty of conceiving. She consulted on various occasions with fertility specialists and even considered adoption or surrogacy at various times. But she is now safely through her first trimester – and could not be more grateful for this opportunity. “We’ve known so early on,” Kim told E! of her and her husband. “It was really hard just because you want to make sure everything goes right and everything is okay because it has been so hard.” Kim, meanwhile, is in a fighting mood.
