January Jones as a Redhead: Hot or Not?

January Jones is featured in a new new photo shoot for celebrity hairdresser Mark Townsend. The Mad Men star, who was involved in an unusual hit-and-run accident last month, has traded in her flowing blonde locks for a short, red style. Says Townsend of the look: “You always see January as this ’50s, sort of Grace Kelly character. I wanted to really show off the power of hair and makeup with a bit of a ’20s influence.” Catch Jones as Betty Draper when Mad Men premieres its fourth season on July 25 – and sound off below on this change… With this look, the actress is…

More Eclipse Reviews: A Mixed Bag

We loved Eclipse . We thought it was the best Twilight film so far . But we may be alone. Below, we’ve posted excerpts from a number of movie critics around the country. None of them lambasted the flick, but few were overly enthusiastic about, either. If you’ve seen Eclipse , we’d ‘d love to hear your thoughts on it. Comment away now… I can’t pretend that the third episode instilled a fever in my blood, but it didn’t leave me cold. For the first time in the series I felt I’d seen a real movie. – The Wall Street Journal As long as these movies remain about three petulant whiners staring at each other to little effect, no rousing action sequences are going to save them from their torpor. – Las Vegas Weekly Saying that the third film in a series with two pretty weak prior entries is the best of the bunch may be faint praise, but that happens to be the case with Eclipse. – IGN Director David Slade keeps the action brisk and the time-killing attractive … All of which should be like a freshly opened vein for fans. – NPR Kristen Stewart may be one of the most promising actresses of her generation or she may be trapped in amber forever as the drippy but inexplicably ultra-desirable Bella. – Detroit News The first two movies were mediocre, but “Eclipse” represents one of the more astonishing upgrades in movie franchise history. – Richard Roeper This is definitely the worst installment of the franchise to date.

‘Eclipse’ Red-Carpet Premiere To Stream Live On MTV.com!

We’ll be reporting from the L.A. red carpet Thursday starting at 9:30 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Eric Ditzian Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart in “Eclipse” Photo: Summit Last fall, at the glittering red-carpet premiere of “New Moon” in Los Angeles, Kristen Stewart gushed about her brother/sister relationship with Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson revealed the worst part about being Robert Pattinson, and Dakota Fanning admitted she’d probably feed on another human being if he or she smelled like orange chicken from Panda Express. What are we going to learn from the “Twilight” kids this year at the premiere of “Eclipse”? Well, no one knows what will be on their minds as they make their way down the carpet, but we promise you’ll know the moment it happens. Why? Because we’ll be live-streaming the entire thing right here on MTV.com. On Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET, our own Josh Horowitz will be reporting live for two full hours outside the Nokia Theatre, where he’ll be joined by Kimmy West, who runs the fan site His Golden Eyes . They will be chatting with the entire cast, including Stewart, Lautner, Pattinson, Fanning, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Billy Burke and Gil Birmingham. Director David Slade, “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer and series screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg will also be stopping by to talk. Other expected guests include Jamie Foxx, James Franco, Ke$ha, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Emilie de Ravin, Jaden Smith and Emma Roberts. It’s going to be a crazy night of “Twilight”-y goodness, and you’ll be able to check out the whole thing in real time. And make no mistake: The event is going to be even bigger than last year’s. As Greene told us as she introduced “New Moon” to the world, “People always ask if I’m used to it, but there’s no way to get used to it, because they just keep getting more and more exciting. [The fans] are very passionate, and it keeps getting bigger. It’s incredible.” We’ll be live at the L.A. premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” on Thursday, June 24. Tune in to Movies.MTV.com at 9:30 ET (8:30 Central) for our red-carpet webcast, and watch us chat with Robert, Kristen, Taylor and all your favorite stars. And don’t forget to submit your burning “Eclipse” questions !
