Cue the drama music, listen to the serious voiceover and get the tissues ready, folks: the fairy tale is about to end for Kim Kardashian. On this Sunday’s finale of Kourtney & Kim Take New York , Kim will finally face the harsh truth about her two-month marriage to Kris Humphries. “It’s hard for me. He’s a good heart, he’s a Christian – everything on paper I want in someone, but for some reason, my heart isn’t connecting,” she tells Kourtney. “I feel sad, I feel bad for the guy. He fell in love with me and I fell in love with him and now all my feelings have changed.” Kourtney and Kim Take New York Finale Preview It’s truly emotional stuff, but at least there’s positive news for fans of Kim Kardashian: she won’t be off the air for long. Jon Gosselin and Ellen Ross have split up after nearly two years together. It’s unclear exactly why the ex-husband of Kate Gosselin split with his lady friend, but reports say Ellen’s distaste for the media was the final straw. “Ellen didn’t like the media attention and other things that came with the relationship,” a source said. “That’s one of the main reasons they broke up.” Wait … we still pay attention to Jon Gosselin ? Besides right now? Who knew! According to an insider, the twosome broke up more than a week ago, but it wasn’t until Friday that Jon Gosselin confirmed the breakup on Twitter: “Recently, after much thought and discussion, Ellen and I have decided to end our relationship. It was a mutual decision and we are both happy.” “We will remain best friends. We both plan to move forward and focus on our separate lives. We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time.” So far, no word from Ellen Ross personally, except a denial earlier this week that was debunked when Jon spilled the beans on Twitter. Whoops.

In a recent interview, Kate Gosselin said she will never say a bad word publicly about her ex Jon, as he will always be the father of her children. That doesn’t mean she’ll get back together with him, however. A deluge of recent celebrity gossip reports have suggested Kate and Jon Gosselin, who have been on much better terms lately, might reconcile. Not the case, says a source close to Kate. “There is absolutely no chance of a reconciliation. They remain civil for the sake of the kids, but that’s it,” said the insider. “It’s frustrating for Kate that people keep making stories up. Things are better but they have both moved on.” Jon has been dating Ellen Ross for the better part of a year and seems quite content living a normal life, working 9-to-5 installing solar panels. As for Kate, she’s single and has no qualms about it. “Kate wants nothing more than to be seen in a completely different light than Jon is viewed,” says the source. “Obviously he is the father of her children and that won’t change, but she is feeling very happy about her decisions and situation.”

Talk about an early Christmas miracle! Apparently Jon Gosselin has a job. One that does not involve being a douche. Well, at least not on TLC. We know, we’re as surprised as you are here. An IT guy before Jon & Kate Plus 8 took off, he’s back in the tech field . The balding, Ed Hardy-wearing seducer of mediocre girls has come full circle. A GREAT CATCH : How could any employer resist this man? “Jon is back at work at a normal job not in media or entertainment,” the source says. “He’s working in technology, which he did before the show.” As for the ongoing shenanigans of Kate Gosselin , including her appearance on the Today show in which she said she was still awaiting an apology? Dude just doesn’t care! “He is happy as can be,” the source said, noting that incidentally, he’s still happily dating the latest of his post-Kate girlfriends, Ellen Ross . Sorry to break that one to you, ladies. Just to sum up, Jon’s working full-time at a regular 9/5 job, not seeking publicity, in a steady relationship and wants his kids OFF the air?
