In one of our favorite tabloid reports of 2014 thus far, Selena Gomez has recruited Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift in a plan to “take down” Miley Cyrus. You’re not even gonna believe why, THGers. Actually, maybe you will. Life & Style claims Lovato and Swift are helping Gomez “plot revenge” against Cyrus for – yes hooking up with Justin Bieber – while he was dating Gomez. A purported Gomez “insider” quoted by the magazine says, “Both Taylor and Demi know how heartbroken Selena’s been, and hate what Miley did to her.” Adds the source of the alleged alliance, “All four girls used to be friendly, but when Selena heard Miley started making moves on Justin, it went downhill.” Of course, it’s very much unclear if that ever happened … but whatever. If you except this hilarious story as even remotely true, which is a major stretch, how are they planning this supposedly epic takedown of Miley Cyrus? “By refusing to attend the same parties and club events as Miley, and trash talking her to anyone who’ll listen,” for starters, they hope to end her reign. The end goal of this smear camapign, an insider alleges? “Freezing Miley out of lucrative appearances that used to net her a jaw-dropping $300,000 a night.” Wait a second now … Miley Cyrus does paid appearances? Since when? All four ladies are huge celebrities at this point, with successful careers and tours. Neither is relying on money from club appearances a la Farrah Abraham. Also, Miley Cyrus being frozen out of anything? That’s clearly not happening. Her profile continues to grow with every Twerk or fan’s thong she eats . Not shockingly, according to a Gomez insider, the story is totally bogus: “There is no conspiracy against Miley. These girls are all way too busy in their lives to be participating in the nonsense described in this ridiculous story.” Well that’s just too logical and not nearly fun enough. Boo. Alas, this gossip item was just too fun not to print, but it appears too good to be true. We’d believe it if they were furious at Jake Gyllenhaal for taking Taylor’s v-card and dumping her, or came at Bieber for his text messages to Selena Gomez (below) Not Miley, though. Selena Gomez Rehab Program Not Completed; Star Bailed Early, Report Indicates

Selena Gomez left rehab just two weeks into a six-week program, according to a new report, failing to complete the course of treatment she checked in for. The 21-year-old ignored the advice of medical professionals and the strenuous objections of the rehab staff and walked out of there just 14 days in. Selena Gomez in Rehab: Why? In early January, Selena Gomez checked into rehab at The Meadows for what is believed to be problems with alcohol, pot and prescription Ambien. All of which can be traced back to her unhealthy relationship Justin Bieber, both in terms of her strained emotions and her exposure to his lifestyle. We only recently learned she sought treatment, though, and that’s largely due to the fact that Selena bailed so she could go the Sundance Film Festival. She was only in treatment for two weeks , and reportedly told her people she would return to the rehab facility after Sundance, only she didn’t do so. Gomez decided she was cured, apparently, and felt there was no reason to return. The Meadows doesn’t see eye-to-eye with her on that, though. The treatment program is 45 days for a reason, and with Selena bailing four weeks early, they don’t believe she has completed the therapy or recovered. Selena feels she completed the toughest week, the initial period which the facility calls “Survivor’s week” so everything is fine … the staff disagrees. Selena Gomez: Justin Bieber “Disgusting”! The Meadows, a facility that specializes in young adults struggling with trauma or addiction, may have a point, as she was “partying very hard” beforehand. Aside from staying out late, Gomez was into marijuana and pills, with friends and family members “increasingly worried that there might be a serious problem.” It just got to a point where she had to get away from the pressure of her career and those “who had become a bad influence on her,” an insider said. Bieber. A mole says that Justin and Selena would “smoke marijuana regularly” and that Gomez was left “broken-hearted” by her split from her fellow star. Sources close to Gomez say her camp went ballistic when they found out she was back together with Justin, and that she checked into rehab after that. The two reportedly got into a text message war (below) last month involving his wild ways, and his camp reportedly warned Justin to stay away from her . Many believe that Justin Bieber is in need of rehab, but a new report alleges that his ex-girlfriend actually beat him to the professional assistance punch. According to numerous sources, Selena Gomez did not cancel the Australian leg of her tour in December because she simply needed a break from performing. The 21-year-old did so because she checked into an Arizona rehab center for an emergency two-week stay (she has since left the facility). Has the good girl gone bad?! Selena Gomez in Rehab: Why? A source claims that Gomez walked into Dawn at The Meadows – a facility that specializes in young adults struggling with trauma or addiction – on January 5. The reason? She had been “partying very hard” in the weeks prior. Aside from staying out late, allegedly Gomez was into marijuana and prescription pills, with friends and family members “increasingly worried that there might be a serious problem.” “It’s important to remember that Selena had worked in Hollywood non-stop for six years,” an insider tells Radar Online , adding, “She was exhausted.” “Selena was smart enough to understand that she needed to take control of her life. “It just got to a point where she needed to get out of Los Angeles, get away from ‘the scene’ and the pressures of Hollywood, to also get away from those who had, admittedly, become a bad influence on her.” In other words… Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber’s inner circle, including manager Scooter Braun, have reportedly advised him to steer clear of Selena Gomez … because SHE is a bad influence! No, we didn’t get that wrong, although it seems like it should be the other way around. “The message has been sent,” a source close to the situation said. “There is always so much ridiculous drama involving both of them.” Well that much is true … but how is Gomez to blame for it? “They fight constantly and Selena loves to keep Justin hanging. He always acts out after they fight. Selena is just not good for Justin,” says the insider. “They need to stay away from each other.” Just how toxic the pair can be together was laid bare in those alleged Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez text messages that went viral earlier this month. Her camp has denied that it’s real, while his has been mum on the subject. Regardless of whether the texts (below) are legit, the drama certainly is. Still, after Justin Bieber’s arrest for DUI drag racing , resisting arrest and driving on an expired license last week, the anti-Gomez warning seems odd. In the wake of the arrest, Bieber’s camp notes that Gomez was at his Calabasas, Calif., mansion the night he allegedly hurled eggs at a neighbor’s property. Selena Gomez’s rep has denied the legitimacy of the bitter text exchange between the singer-actress and on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. The text messages, which leaked and went viral, appeared to show tensions escalating with Gomez and Bieber, who sent her derogatory messages. The 21-year-old’s rep, Jill Fritzo, issued a firm “not real” when the Daily Mail (UK) contacted her for her reaction to the alleged nude pics and vile slurs. Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez Texting War Radar Online published the Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez text messages , which they claim were exchanged after the duo had a bitter fight last week. The texts (posted below) were allegedly forwarded to one of the 21-year-old actress’ friends from a phone registered to her stepfather Brian Teefey. This was after police raided Bieber’s home and arrested one of his confidants, Lil Za , on drug charges. Selena (supposedly) told Justin to get helo. The 19-year-old Canadian singer and his on-off-girlfriend sparked reconciliation rumors last month when they started hanging out again, but it wasn’t to be. “I was honest with you and I gave you a second chance. All my friends were right,” she allegedly texted, before calling him a drug addict who needs help. “You need to listen to Scooter (Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager) and go to rehab. U r sick,” Gomez reportedly texted her ex, sending him into a rage. The website also reported that during the heated exchange between the two, the “Believe” singer also allegedly sent Gomez a nude picture of himself. Bieber’s camp has yet to respond to the rumors one way or the other. Then again, his management has a lot of other things to deal with at the moment.
