‘Jersey Shore’ High Five: Hair Flies And Hate Sex

From a house-wide brawl to Vinny and Angelina’s out-of-nowhere hookup, we recap this week’s episode of ‘Jersey Shore.’ By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Snooki and Vinnie on “Jersey Shore” Photo: MTV When we last left the “Jersey Shore,” the housemates were in the middle of mediating a highly emotional dispute or, as most viewers saw it, getting ready to throw down. Things came to a head after Vinny let JWoww know that Angelina was telling the rest of the gang about Pauly D’s “drunkity” state. Eventually, the issue turned into a smackdown between JWoww and Sammi, who were already giving each other the side-eye over the infamous “anonymous” letter to Sammi (which, we know, was penned by Snooki and JWoww) detailing Ronnie’s conquests. But that was just the first five minutes. Here’s a recap of the biggest moments from Thursday’s “Jersey Shore”: 5. Ferry Love After Vinny called out Angie’s town-crier approach to Pauly’s drunken night, the Staten Islanders spent most of the episode going at each other’s necks. Angelina even laid out her distaste for Vinchenzo at the gelato shop, telling Mike, “He’s not even good-looking, so he needs to jump off the ‘I’m good-looking’ train.” But by the episode’s final cab ride home, guess which two ferry-riders were sucking face in the back seat? Even the dude who laced Angie with a spankin’ new Fossil timepiece didn’t get all that. 4. Snooki the Multitasker Snooks finally got some action! Hurrah! Apparently, she didn’t waste precious bar banter coaxing details from her date and waited instead until they hit the sheets. The late-night canoodling woke up roomie JWoww with a mixture of moans and queries like, “How far you do live from here?” 3. Is Ronnie R. Kelly? Ron-Ron has been pretty much dogging Sammi for most of the season and, of course, the resident “Shore” philosopher Mike served up an insightful assessment of the situation. “He’s been peeing on her, and she’s still with him,” The Situation observed. “This is like when you’re a little kid and you find out Santa Claus is dead.” And everyone knows that finding out Santa died — instead of, you know, never existing in the first place — is way more traumatic. 2. Girlfight JWoww and Sammi didn’t hold back in the epic episode-opening catfight, which, as Ron-Ron put it, was “like putting firecrackers in a Dumpster.” The brawl sent parts of the d

Lady Gaga And Producer Drop Lawsuits Against Each Other

Rob Fusari initially sought $30.5 million arguing the ‘Fame’ singer owed success, in part, to him. By Kelley L. Carter Lady Gaga Photo: George Napolitano/ WireImage The romance is over, and so is the legal action. Lady Gaga and a former boyfriend/music producer Rob Fusari have both dismissed lawsuits filed against each other . The Associated Press reports that court papers filed this week show that Gaga and Fusari have both agreed to drop the dueling suits. Fusari originally filed in March in New York and said he wanted $30.5 million, but the AP reported that it was still unclear on Friday (September 10) whether the two made any financial deal in dismissing both suits. Fusari’s beef with Gaga was that he had helped to launch the pop star’s career, but hadn’t been properly compensated for his effort in the aftermath of their failed relationship. Fusari — who has also worked on Will Smith’s “Wild Wild West” movie theme and Destiny’s Child’s “Bootylicious” — teamed up with the singer back in March 2006. He said it was he who persuaded her to trade in her rock style for dance beats. Fusari and Gaga co-wrote songs such as “Paparazzi” and “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich,” which would appear on her debut album, The Fame, and in the initial lawsuit, he claimed that he transformed the singer born Stefani Germanotta into Lady Gaga, a name adapted from Queen’s “Radio Ga Ga.” Per the lawsuit, Lady Gaga and Fusari’s relationship turned romantic and then became a business partnership in May 2006, when they created a joint venture called Team Love Child, LLC, to promote her career. Fusari’s share was 20 percent, according the agreement. Gaga may have been compelled to drop the suit to focus on her current success: She’s up for an astounding 13 Moonmen at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards , airing live on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Lady Gaga Responds To Rob Fusari Lawsuit

Gaga attorney says agreement at center of suit was ‘unlawful.’ By MTV News staff Lady Gaga Photo: Christopher Polk/ Getty Images An attorney for Lady Gaga has responded to the $30.5 million lawsuit filed against the singer by former collaborator Rob Fusari. The lawsuit alleges that Fusari discovered and nurtured Gaga (real name: Stefani Germanotta) only to have her abandon him and cut him out of her lucrative recording career once she became successful. In a court filing made public Friday, Charles Ortner, an attorney for Gaga, said the agreement at the center of the suit was “unlawful,” according to The Associated Press. In the suit, filed in New York Wednesday, Fusari claims he came up with Gaga’s stage name (which she has credited him with) and helped her get a label deal; Fusari co-wrote and produced several songs from her 2008 debut LP, The Fame, including “Paparazzi.” The suit also claims that Gaga and Fusari’s relationship became a romantic one as well as a business partnership: a joint venture called Team Love Child LLC for which Fusari’s share was 20 percent. Ortner wrote in his response that the arrangement was “structured in such a way as to mask its true purpose — to provide to the defendants unlawful compensation for their services as unlicensed employment agents,” according to the AP, adding that Fusari and his company violated statutes that prohibited them from “acting as employment agents without a license and charging Lady Gaga an unlawful fee for their purported services.” Contacted by MTV News Friday evening, Fusari’s attorney, Robert Meloni, commented: “The claim filed by Lady Gaga does not pass the laugh test. I assume their strategy here in response to Fusari’s complaint is ‘the best defense is a good offense,’ with their claim being the ‘offense’ but it really gives ‘falling on your sword’ an entirely new meaning. Ms. Germanotta really should not be playing with sharp objects.” At press time, Ortner had not responded to MTV News’ request for comment. Lady Gaga Sued For $30.5 Million By Producer

Rob Fusari claims he hasn’t been compensated for co-writing songs, coming up with her stage name and helping her get a record deal. By Kelley L. Carter Lady Gaga Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images A songwriter and music producer who claims he helped launch Lady Gaga filed a $30.5 million lawsuit against the pop superstar, The Associated Press reported Thursday (March 18). Rob Fusari says he was squeezed out of Gaga’s lucrative career after he co-wrote some of her songs, came up with her stage name and helped her get a record deal. Fusari’s lawyer hadn’t returned MTV News’ calls for comment by press time; Gaga’s rep also hadn’t commented on the suit. The producer said Gaga is his prot&#233g
