Now that 2016 has finally arrived and we’ve all made our Nude Year Resolutions, we’ve been reflecting on all the actresses that have stripped down in the past and all those who might strip down in the future. While it’s easy for us to guess who might join the ranks of other nudecomers in the coming months, there are a few others we can only pray and hope have resolved to grace us with skin one day. Skin Central likes a good superhero action flick as much as the next guy, but we do have one critique of the Marvel machine: their movies tend to be sausage fests. Case in point- out of the dozens of characters in Captain America: the First Avenger, only two, Hayley Atwell (who’s never appeared nude) and Natalie Dormer (nude in The Tudors ), are female. Well, looks like two will continue to be the magic number for Marvel as Scarlett Johannson ‘s Black Widow acquires a galpal to trade beauty tips with in the S.H.I.E.L.D.locker room. Amanda Righetti has been cast in the upcoming Avengers movie as “an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Amanda’s character hasn’t been publicly announced yet, but she’s likely to be playing Sharon Carter , niece of Cap’s galpal Peggy Carter (Atwell) and badass mercenary. Amanda’s best known for her role as bad girl Hayley on teen soap The O.C. , but she’s breast known at Mr. Skin for her fantastic nudity in the thriller Angel Blade (2002), where she handcuffs her lover to the bed and skingages in some kinky knife play. Could this be skinspiration for killer nudes in The Avengers ? Not likely, but Skin Central’s still looking forward to her (almost certainly) skin-tight superhero ensemble. Clip offers glimpses of Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull and Cap’s transformation to super-soldier. By Adam Rosenberg A scene from “Captain America: The First Avenger” Photo: Paramount The debut trailer for “Captain America: The First Avenger” made its bow tonight with only minutes remaining in the second quarter of Super Bowl XLV. The highly anticipated first look at the Joe Johnston-directed Marvel Comics adaptation did not fail to deliver, with glimpses of Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull and Cap’s transformation from puny weakling to genetically enhanced super-soldier. The 32-second trailer opens with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) stepping into the machine that infuses his body with the serum responsible for giving him superhuman strength and reflexes. “How do you feel,” Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter — Cap’s World War II love interest — asks Rogers as he steps out of the oversize metal coffin. “Taller,” Evans quips. A series of shots from different parts of the movie flash by next as Cap, shield in hand, runs, jumps and swings into action against a variety of bad guys, including a pair of armored HYDRA agents wielding flamethrowers. The money shot comes toward the end, of course, with Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull peeling off what appears to be a mask and revealing the scarred, red face beneath. The trailer ends with Atwell and Evans. Cap’s got what must be an early, unpainted prototype of his shield in hand, whose effectiveness Atwell tests with a pistol. “What do you think,” Evans asks, holding the shield up just in time to catch the oncoming bullets. “I think it works,” she fires back with a smirk. “Captain America: The First Avenger” hits 2-D and 3-D screens this summer on July 22.
