Britney Spears SUPER Blonde Hair: Love It or Hate It?

Britney Spears has been a blonde for most of her life/career (of course, we all remember when Britney shaved her head in 2007, but thankfully she didn’t keep that look for very long). These days, however, it seems Brit’s taken blonde to a whole new level with a hair color that could perhaps best be described as “highlighter yellow.” Brit tweeted the photo above recently, leading to some very mixed reactions from fans. Some say the singer is embracing her campy side and going over-the-top for her mega-popular Vegas residency. Others believe Britney’s rocking a wig to conceal some unfortunate new ‘do. We’re not sure what to believe, but the fact that Brit’s posing with RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Adore Delano leads us to to believe she may have embraced the unique culture of the Vegas Strip. Britney Spears Bikini Photos: Damn, Girl! 1. Britney Spears: Bikini Photo in Blue Britney Spears’ bikini body is unreal these days. Case in point. Perhaps she wants her famous mane to be as bright and blinding as the neon lights around her every night in Sin City? Of course,  Britney’s been lip-syncing hardcore on stage these days so maybe she’s just using her radiant new locks to distract from her lack of singing. Clever girl, that Brit-Brit. What do you think? Does Britney’s hair perfectly encapsulate everything that’s lurid and beautiful about her temporary new home or does the 32 year old mom need to return to a more age-appropriate look? Cast your vote in our survey below!   Love the new look! Keep it! She looks like she’s trying to be a teenager! Dump it! Who cares? How is she still famous?! Tina Knowles: Did Beyonce’s Mom Force Jay Z and Solange to Make Up?

After Solange Knowles attacked Jay Z at this year’s MET Gala, many felt that Beyonce’s husband and sister would never be seen together again. And yet, the feuding in-laws apparently patched things up almost immediately. Jay joined Solange and Beyonce in New Orleans over the weekend alongside another guest who some believe was the key to the instantly squashed beef. That’s Jay with Bey, Solange and their mother, Tina Knowles. Affectionately known in the Knowles’ inner circle as “Mama Tina,” the matriarch is said to hold tremendous influence over her daughter’s lives and careers and it’s been rumored that she applied pressure to Solange to make nice with Jay. If that’s really the case, we’ve gotta tip our hats to a woman who’s powerful enough to end a war between a man as wealthy and revered as Jay Z, and a woman as explosively violent as Solange.  Proving once again that the Knowles and Carters are masters of public relations, Solange and Jay Z issued a statement about the fight in which both parties accepted blame and apologized. No explanation for the tiff was offered, and yet still, the public seems satisfied. So possibly thanks to Mama Tina, the whole affair appears to be settled. Of course, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the Solange-Jay Z fight video one last time: Solange Knowles-Jay Z Fight: Full Video

Why is Climate Change Coverage Still Lacking in the Media?

Photo via Isiria This week saw a couple lively debates over cap and trade and media coverage and public understanding of climate change. Central to the latter seems to be the question of whether industry interests that go to certain lengths to sew doubt in the public about climate change really have all that much influence over how the average American perceives the threat of global warming… Read the full story on TreeHugger
