Alex Band Abduction Case: Cops Believe The Calling Singer, Hunt For Three Suspects

Lapeer, Mich., police are looking for three suspects in the Alex Band abduction case, believing The Calling singer when he insists it was not a hoax. Local officials are seeking a scruffy-faced white male, 30-ish and armed with a gun, wearing a backwards camouflage cap, and two other goons. The Calling Singer Abducted Cops say Alex described the van he was abducted in as a blue minivan, and that surveillance footage is being combed from the area of the attack. Police are trying to pin down an image of the abductor(s), but clearly believe Alex Band’s story of being nabbed, beaten and left on the train tracks . The singer’s abduction took place just as The Calling announced its comeback after a decade away from music, prompting obligatory HOAX! claims. Investigators are planning to release a description of the suspects, who are still at large, later today, so they’re not buying any conspiracy theories.

Texas Woman Convicted Of Killing Up To 46 Infants To Be Released From Prison After Only Serving 1/3 Of 99 Year Sentence!

What type of bullisht is THIS?!? Texas Woman To Be Released After Convicted Of Killing Up To 46 Infants Via ABCNews A nurse convicted in 1984 of killing an infant and suspected of murdering dozens more will be released from prison without completing her 99 year sentence because of an expired Texas law that grants a “mandatory release” to inmates with good behavior. On May 14, 1984 Genene Anne Jones, now 63, was sentenced for the murder of 15-month-old Chelsea McClellan in 1982 in a small-town pediatric clinic where Jones was a nurse. “I was holding Chelsea, she was facing me, and Jones gave her the first shot in her left thigh. Immediately Chelsea had trouble breathing. Chelsea was trying to say my name, but she couldn’t. I was extremely upset,” Petti McClellan, the victim’s mother, told ABC News. Jones began injecting the child with a lethal dose of the muscle relaxant succinylcholine while the baby was still in her mother’s arms, according to McClellan and court records. Jones was also convicted of injuring a child in another attack in which the child survived. She was sentenced to 60 years on that conviction, but it was ordered to be served concurrently with the 99 year sentence. Ron Sutton, the criminal prosecutor who won the murder conviction, estimates that Jones is responsible for the deaths of between 11 and 46 infants in Bexar County from 1978 and 1982. “I was present when all the investigators were adding up the numbers and, 11 to 46… I can confirm that that’s what it was,” Sutton told ABC News. WTF?! McClellan was meeting with Texas State senators in the early 1990s when she discovered that Jones would be scheduled for early release. “A congressman came up to me and as I told them Chelsea’s story he stopped me and asked when Genene Jones was sentenced,” McClellan recalled. He then told McClellan he would be back in a minute and left. “When he came back he looked upset and he told me, ‘We have a problem’,” McClellan said. “That’s when he told me Genene Jones would not serve her full sentence. I couldn’t believe it.” “I was stunned, sad, and so, so, angry. Probably the angriest I have been since Chelsea died. This makes no rhyme or reason. Not just for me and my family, but anybody who suffered. There were so many other victims,” McClellan said. “This is going to happen. There is nothing we can do. Nothing I can do,” Petti McClellan, continued. “This has nothing to do with the parole board, the courts. Genene Jones is going to walk free.” Jones will be released because of a Texas law called Mandatory Supervision. Enacted in 1977, the law allowed all convicted criminals to be automatically released on parole after they complete a certain amount of calendar time and good conduct time, which includes participating in work and self-improvement programs, according to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice parole and mandatory release guide. Aaron Hernandez Motive: Keeping Odin Lloyd Quiet About Previous Murders?

Police are confident that Aaron Hernandez had the means and opportunity to kill Odin Lloyd, and believe they have sufficient evidence of each. Motive, however, has been a mystery throughout the investigation of the former NFL star, though a second case has given police a new angle. Officials think Lloyd may have had information about Hernandez that the tight end felt would destroy his relationship with his fiancee and the Patriots. There are several operating theories, but a prevailing one is that Lloyd “mouthed off” to Hernandez about “secrets” Aaron had told him in the past. Those secrets, police believe, concern Aaron’s involvement in drugs and his involvement in several violent incidents – possibly two other murders . Officials are not under the impression that Lloyd tried to blackmail Hernandez, but that he mouthed off to the athlete, throwing that information in his face. Hernandez, thinking the secrets Lloyd knew would potentially end his relationship with his fiancee and his career, lost it and plotted Lloyd’s execution . Or so the theory goes. As motives go among people capable of killing other human beings, it would make a lot more sense than some “beef” at a club. Investigators working the Aaron Hernandez murder case are focusing on the link between Lloyd and the double drive-by homicide in Boston in 2012. They say that may also be tied to Hernandez, and that he is currently a person of interest – though not officially a suspect – in the double murder. Meanwhile, the dominoes certainly look like they’re beginning to fall for Hernandez, who is being held without bail on the charge of murder . One of his alleged accomplices, Carlos Ortiz of Bristol, Conn., was arrested on Wednesday as a fugitive on weapons charges pending in Massachusetts. Investigators say those charges related to the killing of Lloyd. Another man tagged an “accomplice” was apprehended today in Florida after prosecutors issued a wanted poster, saying he was “armed and dangerous.” That man, Ernest Wallace, was wanted as an “accessory after the fact of the murder of Odin Lloyd.” He turned himself in to police in Miramar, Fla. Police recently returned to Hernandez’s home to search the building yet again, this time in the hunt for evidence associated with the 2012 double slaying.

Justin Bieber Battery Case: Headed for Prosecution

According to authorities, Justin Bieber will likely face criminal battery charges for his argument with an angry neighbor earlier this week. As previously reported, the singer was confronted by Jeff Schwartz – a 47-year old father of three – and berated for driving recklessly around the neighborhood. Both Schwartz, his wife and a third witness claim Bieber spit on his antagonist during the disagreement and had to be restrained by his bodyguard from going after him. Los Angeles County Investigators have looked into the incident and will refer the case to the District Attorney , law enforcement insiders confirm to TMZ. The main reason for prosecution? Officials believe Bieber’s history of disregard for the law – in terms of his driving record and pot smoking – show a pattern of troublesome behavior. They have seen many similar cases in the past of such small law-breaking leading into far more serious conduct down the line. Regardless of there this case goes legally, those within the Sheriff’s Department believe Justin need professional help.

Octomom Welfare Fraud Investigation: Is She Bilking the System?

Three words: Octomom porn audit! According to TMZ, the investigation into whether Octomom committed welfare fraud is underway, with officials looking to establish how much bank she makes. The L.A. County Dept. of Welfare Fraud Prevention and Investigation (WFP&I) recently got a call from someone claiming Nadya Suleman is cheating the system. It’s not clear who tipped them off or why. Astonishingly, because she has 14 dependent children, Octomom can receive welfare support if she made less than $119,000 in a calendar year. Almost more astonishingly, she actually may have made way more than that – around or over $200K – in 2012, which is where the fraud allegation comes in. Investigators have begun calling people who have employed Nadya Suleman within the last year to see just how much Octo has been raking in. Seriously. Her bank statements, canceled checks and wire transfer receipts are all being sought after, as well as contracts with any of her employers. It could be she just has no idea what she makes – it’s not like she gets one W2 for a $200K/year salaried job – but she could be in deep regardless. If she is found to have committed welfare fraud, admittedly a difficult case to make against anyone, she could face up to three years in prison.

Ryan Buell, Star of Paranormal State, Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer

Ryan Buell, one of the investigators on A&E’s Paranormal State , has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The 30-year old, who penned the 2010 memoir “Paranormal State: My Journey Into the Unknown,” has dedicated his Facebook page to the disease. “You all also know that Ryan is the type of person that not only likes to keep things relatively private, but wants to make sure that others are taken care of first,” wrote a member of the Paranormal Research Society Staff on Buell’s Facebook fan page. “Ryan has been honored and humbled by the support, but also wants to make sure that we all remember the struggle is not his alone.” Pancreatic cancer is the fourth most common cause of cancer-related deaths around the world. Both Patrick Swayze and Steve Jobs succumbed to it over the last few years, On his social networking page this week, Buell posted a photo of himself and wrote: “I know there are many of you suffering from illnesses, and not just cancer. I say to all of you: SOLDIER ON! I know the pain that you will feel. And the pain for treatment. I still say SOLDIER ON! Let’s think of one another during those moments, even though we don’t know each other.” We wish Buell and all suffering from this terrible disease nothing but the best of luck.
