Jay Adams, an iconic skate boarder who was portrayed by Emile Hirsch in the movie Lords of Dogtown, died late last night in Mexico. He was 53 years old. Insiders tell TMZ that Adams passed away of an apparent heart attack while on vacation with his wife and two children. They had been on an extended three-month holiday when the tragedy struck. Adams had reportedly been sober for months and had no history of heart problems. The extreme athlete had been in and out of prison since the early 1980s on a variety of drug charges. Jennifer Lawrence: Dating Chris Martin?!

In most unexpected celebrity couple news, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are apparently dating in the wake of their recent and respective breakups. The attractive duo has been spending “quality time together” since late June after the Oscar winner broke up with Nicholas Hoult , her X-Men co-star, E! reports. All the celebrity news source claims is that the two are “seeing each other,” so it’s not known how seriously. The site is reasonably credible, however. Lawrence, who celebrates her 24th birthday today, called it quits amicably with Hoult earlier this summer, blaming the usual distance and careers. Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow announced their Conscious Uncoupling after more than 10 years of marriage in March, after which he was linked to Alexa Chung. It’s unclear if those two were ever more than friends, but Chris and Gwyneth have also stayed on good terms, even living together at their L.A. home as of June. “They’ve tried to keep things as stable and consistent as possible for their kids,” a source said. “They still spend a lot of time together as a family.” “They haven’t changed things since they announced they were splitting. Other than taking off their wedding bands, they seem closer than ever.” As for the Silver Linings Playbook star, it’s not clear when Martin and Lawrence started getting close, as this is the first we’ve heard of the love connection. Andrew Keegan Starts New Religion: What is Full Circle?

Andrew Keegan has started a new religion. According to Vibe Magazine, the actor (10 Things I Hate About You, 7th Heaven) has created a “new age temple and spiritual movement” dubbed Full Circle. It is named as such due to “Synchronicity [and time],” Keegan says. “That’s what it’s all about. Whatever, the past, some other time. It’s a circle; in the center is now. That’s what it’s about.” We feel like Rust Cohle would totally approve of this religion. In March 2011, Keegan was attacked by a gang – and that’s when everything changed for him. “The significance of this occurrence is that it happened at the same time the tsunami hit Japan ,” explains Keegan, saying it was part of a larger “synchronicity” that led him to debut Full Circle. Ceremonies at Third Eye church will center on water crystals, as members attempt to use these items to focus their energies on solving crises such as the Israel-Gaza conflict. “We create a resonance of balance and equality of the crew,” Keegan tells Vice. “When you feel those chakras aligned, there’s guided messaging coming in. If there is something of spiritual ego within that, it must not exist.” In July 2011, Keegan was manhandled by the police during a house party arrest.
