Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the genre and type of role that made him a movie icon with Sabotage. In other words, he is a hard ass action hero! In a first-look Sabotage trailer courtesy of Movie Fanatic, he leads a DEA team that always gets their man … until the team members start turning up dead. Terrence Howard, Sam Worthington, Joe Manganiello, Josh Holloway, and Mireille Enos provide the supporting cast as he looks to right the ship. Take a look: Sabotage Trailer Is there a rat in their midst? Can Arnold smoke him out? Why is $10 million missing from their last bust? We will find out the answers to those questions soon. Sabotage hits theaters next weekend, Friday, March 28. David Ayer, the creative force behind Training Day and End of Watch , directs this action-packed ride. Well, maybe Brad Pitt won’t save all of us. As you can see in the first full trailer for Marc Forster’s big-budget action pic World War Z (via Apple), a few billion Earthlings will kick the bucket (but will probably reanimate, so there’s that) when the undead rise against us. Watch the trailer to get a look at Pitt’s shaggy-maned family man hero, who must to leave his wife (Mireille Enos) and their kids to go fight the zombie apocalypse for the sake of humanity in next summer’s World War Z . Head to Apple for the trailer debut. The full trailer has me breathing a sigh of relief after this week’s rather underwhelming trailer tease ; I can get used to World War Z ‘s superfast undead swarms, pouring through streets and leaping like lemmings off of buildings chasing desperately after Pitt’s delicious, delicious body. I mean brain. Or whatever these zombies eat. It must be high in protein to keep this kind of zombie metabolism going. Despite the departures from the book that will have lit fans up in arms, and the vaguely I Am Legend / War of the Worlds vibe this gives off, World War Z has me excited to see Pitt as an action hero. And how great is it that he’s doing a rare action turn while looking like a long-haired crunchy hippie dad? World War Z hits theaters June 21, 2013. How’s it look to you, Movieliners? Mireille Enos was in Big Love, a show that both depresses me and gives me hope, because no only are Mormon’s very successful, they also managed to set up a way to fuck multiple women while seemingly being holy in the mind of God, while other religions like Catholic or Jewish make you do that secretly…..which is often time better….even when you get caught…cuz putting up with one wife is enough bullshit….trying to handle 5 women’s needs, wants, problems at the same time….while factoring jealousy….is enough to make a motherfucker focus his money on fucking hookers instead of paying to feed clothe and 20 kids who are just gonna hate me….and their annoying subserviant mothers…. Either way, she’s showing some nipple…
Mireille Enos also addresses controversy swirling around upcoming ‘World War Z.’ By Kevin P. Sullivan, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Mireille Enos in “The Killing” Photo: AMC Mireille Enos can’t seem to stay away from controversy these days. Two of her biggest projects, AMC’s “The Killing” and this year’s “World War Z” have recently come under heavy scrutiny from fans, but at Sunday’s Golden Globes , Enos assured MTV News that both projects are headed in the right direction. Fans of Max Brooks’ novel recently lashed out when word came down from the set of “World War Z” that significant changes had been made to the overall structure of the story. In what may be a relief to fans, Enos admitted that liberties were taken but said that the core remains the same. “I definitely found the book very important, just to get into the mind of Max Brooks and the kind of story that he was trying to tell,” she told MTV News’ Josh Horowitz. “Actually, the book is about human nature in the midst of crisis. Even though the context is different in the film, that’s still the heart of it, and I’m so glad that was carried over.” She also expanded on the part she plays, as well as Brad Pitt ‘s role, and how those characters factor into the changes made to the story. “The book is narrated by a character who is now in the film, and I play that character’s wife,” she said. When “The Killing” season finale aired last June, fans cried foul that the show ended without revealing Rosie Larsen’s killer. Enos told us on Sunday that she couldn’t understand the outrage. “I was so baffled, actually, by people not liking the ending. A cliffhanger is such a classic writing device,” she said. “If you’re enjoying the journey, why not want more?” For season two, however, Enos promised a quicker show with much higher stakes. “The pace accelerates. The stakes jump by tenfold. Everything gets more and more personal, and the writing is so exceptional,” she said. “We shot the first three episodes, and our eyes are like this [ makes bulging eye motion ] at the end of every episode. It’s really going to be awesome.” Check out everything we’ve got on “World War Z.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
