So Sad: 19-Year-Old Goes On A Killing Spree Inspired By ‘The Purge’ Movie We can deny the fact that violent films and video games have an impact on our kids, but real life crime proves otherwise. An I ndianapolis teenager named, Jonathan Cruz was recently arrested for 3 counts of murder for the shooting deaths of Billy Boyd and Jay Higginbotham on May 12, and Jose Ruiz on May 15. At only 19 years old, Jonathan went on a killing spree inspired by the movie, ‘The Purge’ which allows all crime to be legal for one night. After murdering three innocent, completely random victims each night of his “purge” Jonathan texted his mom about what he’d done. Upon further investigation, authorities found numerous text messages describing and explaining his three-day killing spree. Ironically, the third Purge movie will be released next month. Hopefully this news doesn’t inspire any other sickos. Do you guys think there should be more regulation on the violent images depicted in films? Drop your thoughts in the comments.

BREAKING NEWS Jury Finds William Balfour GUILTY In The Jennifer Hudson Family Murder Case

Finally justice for Jennifer Hudson and her family! According to breaking news by TMZ : William Balfour has been found GUILTY of murdering three members of Jennifer Hudson’s family. The verdict was handed down moments ago after two days of deliberations. Balfour was convicted of 1st degree murder in the deaths of Jennifer’s mom Darnell Donerson, her brother Jason Hudson, and nephew Julian King. Balfour was also convicted of home invasion and residential burglary. Jennifer Hudson was present in court when the verdict was read. 31-year-old Balfour stands convicted of the triple murder after allegedly flying into a blind and jealous rage in 2008 — over a balloon gift for Julia Hudson, Balfour’s ex and Jennifer’s sister. Prosecutors say Balfour thought the gift was from Julia’s new boyfriend and he snapped. He faces life in prison. Today seems like a long time coming for Jennifer Hudson and the rest of her family. They have all had to go through such a traumatic and sad ordeal with the murder and trial. We just hope the healing process can begin now that William Balfour has been found guilty.
