According to a report from Page Six , Kenneth “Zoo” Petty is due back in New York’s Nassau County court next month for driving with a suspended license. Reportedly, Mr. Petty was busted after blowing a stop sign on November 11th of this year. Zoo was hit with a misdemeanor charge for operating an unlicensed vehicle along with infractions for failing to stop at the sign and driving with a suspended or revoked license. He is scheduled to appear in Nassau County court again on Jan. 8. Previously, fans dug up Petty’s record. In 1995, Petty was popped for sex assault against a 16-year-old girl. He was also 16 years old at the time and was promptly listed as a registered sex offender. He was sentenced to 18-54 months in prison. Petty later spent seven years behind bars for fatally shooting a man, Lamont Robinson, in Queens in 2002. Despite his legal troubles, Zoo seems to be enjoying the Barb life with Nicki M. Nicki Minaj has a new man in her life. And he has quite the sordid history with the law. On Sunday, the 36-year old rapper went public on Instagram with her latest romance, sharing an intimate photo of herself and Kenneth Petty. Randomly referencing Adele’s “Hello” in the caption, Minaj wrote the following while officially introducing her followers to Petty: Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happens?… it’s no secret… that the both of us… are running out of time. But while Internet users were unfamiliar with Petty until now, many folks in law enforcement have known him for many years. According to court records obtained by TMZ, Petty was convicted of first-degree rape in April of 1995. Both he and his unnamed victim were 16 years old at the time of his horrible incident, which prosecutors say involved Petty using a sharp object to try force his victim to have sexual intercourse. Petty served almost four years in New York state prison for the crime. Years after being released, Petty was convicted of first-degree manslaughter and served another seven years behind bars. He was released in 2013. But that’s not even all. Radar Online reports that Petty was arrested just three months ago for driving with a suspended license and failing to heed a stop sign. Based on legal documents in this case, Petty was slapped with three charges in Nassau County, New York: A pair of infractions and one misdemeanor for “operating an unlicensed vehicle,” “failure to stop at a stop sign,” and “operating a vehicle while license is suspended or revoked.” Petty appeared at the Nassau County First District Court on October 25, 2018 for an arraignment hearing and is due before a judge against on January 8. This most recent run-in obviously pales in comparison to the two that landed Petty in prison. But you would think someone with his past would be as careful as possible going forward, wouldn’t you? Minaj diabled her Instagram comments after receiving so much backlash from people aghast that she would date a convicted sex offender. She has not responded to any of the criticism, but she has said in the past that she basically just wants a guy who will f-ck her three times a night. Anything aside from sex drive is secondary to Minaj, we guess. By a a decent amount, too. Minaj’s own brother, Jelani Maraj, was found guilty in November of 2017 of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. She has also publicly supported rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, who was sentenced to probation in October for his involvement in a sexually explicit video of a 13-year-old girl. The superstar previously dated rappers Safaree Samuels, Meek Mill and Nas — and she really may wanna think twice about Kenneth Petty.
