Celebrities are a lot like bloggers, in that we can both say whatever we want and nobody ever takes it seriously. Speaking of which, apparently Jodie Marsh celebrated the premieres of her two new TLC documentaries, Jodie Marsh… On Steroids and Jodie Marsh… On the Game by “promising” to make everyone wait a year before giving it up. At least, I think that’s what “foof” means, unless it’s British slang for “bank account” or something like that. Anyway, in other news, I plan on taking Jodie up on her promise later this week. Matt Kemp, Dodgers Outfielder, Hands Over Uniform to Sick Fan

It’s safe to say Matt Kemp is anything but a sore loser. Sunday night, after getting swept by the San Francisco Giants, the Dodgers outfielder didn’t forget about a promise he made to third base coach Tim Wallach. Moments after the game, he made his way to the first row of stands because he had promised to sign an autograph for a terminally ill Dodgers fan, Joshua Jones. But Kemp ended up doing a lot more than that:  Matt Kemp Gives Fan Uniform Taking off his cap, jersey and cleats, the 28-year-old baseball superstar handed them all to this 19-year-old suffering from inoperable brain tumors. “I was in shock,” Jones said in a phone interview Tuesday. “I was sitting there thinking, ‘I can’t believe he’s doing this.’” Asked about the incident, Kemp didn’t even make a big deal of it. “I didn’t plan on taking the jersey off, but it’s something I felt would probably cheer him up a little bit … and that was my first time taking my shoes off in front of the fans,” he told reporters. “But life is so much bigger than baseball.”
