A brotha who had been through a lot in his life, blew his chance at greatness and has been trying to build himself back up ever since. Vick recently made some comments about Colin Kaepernick , his politics and his hair that had us all looking at him like he was out of his damn mind. But this new news is just…gross. According to USAToday , Fox Sports has hired the embattled quarterback to be an on-air talent on their Sunday show, NFL Kickoff . “I’m very excited,” Vick told USA TODAY Sports in a phone interview on Friday. “Over the last seven or eight months, I’ve done a lot of interviews, and I think I’ve gotten better as I’ve been put in those situations more often. Things really came together (with Fox) over the last couple months. They have shows that I have always watched and admired. My friends and family are thankful and proud of me.” Sounds like the conservative corporate parasites at Fox heard Vick slam Kaep and got a lil’ bulge in their pants and pantsuits. Tap dancing for a check and joining a reality TV cast , huh? Mike must need this money BAD. SMH.

Lil Wayne Spends 4th Of July Weekend With Fianceé Dhea Last week we reported that rapper Lil Wayne spent the night with singer Christina Milian after leaving a BET Awards event with her. Via Daily Mail reports: On Sunday night, the pair added fuel to the fire as they were once again seen enjoying each other’s company at the BET Awards afterparty. Indeed, the pair were seen leaving Hollywood’s Playhouse nightclub together as they eventually called it a night. Both appeared coy as they were snapped leaving the hotspot together, with the stunning 32-year-old holding her hand up to her mouth in an apparent sign of nervousness, while the rapper attempted to sneak along stealthily behind her with a funny ‘sprung’ look on his face. They then piled into the back seat of a sleek black car, with Tunechi hunkering down low on the tan leather upholstery as his date happily giggled away with a huge smile on her face. The songstress recently recorded two songs on Tenechi’s highly-anticipated upcoming album Tha Carter V. Though both parties – who enjoy a close working relationship with Christina signed to her pal’s Young Money record label – have been in long-term relationships, it hasn’t stopped the constant whispers that their relationship is far from platonic. Indeed, the relentless speculation certainly could have contributed to the recent demise of Christina’s relationship with Jas Prince, whom she had been with since September 2010. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne has been dating Dhea Sodano since early 2011, while the couple got engaged in February 2012. Is C-Mili headed dow the same path as Nivea and Wayne’s other baby mamas? Not so fast! A pic of Lil Wayne spending the July 4th holiday with his fianceé Dhea and her family was found on Instagram and Dhea is still rocking her engagement ring too: So would this make Christina a public side-chick?? Jim Brown Believes Dan Gilbert Owes Lebron James A Public Apology Via TwinCities Cleveland’s greatest sports legend would have no problem with LeBron James returning to the city, but believes he only should under one condition. Jim Brown, the hall of fame Browns running back, believes James only should re-sign with the Cavaliers if owner Dan Gilbert makes a public apology. Gilbert criticized James in a scathing latter he wrote after James bolted from the Cavaliers to the Miami Heat in 2010. “The only way I would say that (James should return) is if he and Mr. Gilbert came to some greater understanding because I did not like the way that Mr. Gilbert portrayed him,’’ Brown said in a phone interview Monday with the Pioneer Press. “(For James to return), there’s got to be a public apology made by the owner. I don’t see it any other way.’’ Brown was asked if James should return to the Cavaliers without a public apology. “Hell no,’’ Brown said. The free-agent forward is deciding whether to leave the Heat or to join another team, with the Cavaliers being regarded as having a decent shot to get him back. Brown, who starred for Cleveland from 1957-65, said he would like to see James return to the city only if that’s what he truly wants. “If that’s what makes him happy,’’ Brown said. “I want him to do whatever’s best for him.’’ After James left the Cavaliers in 2010, he was ripped in the letter by Gilbert. The letter included Gilbert calling James, who played for the Cavaliers from 2003-10, a “former hero” and said he engaged in “cowardly betrayal” by leaving. “What I really disliked about (James) leaving was the manner in which Mr. Gilbert talked about him,’’ Brown said. Alex Jones Says Democrats Stole Election According to Raw Story Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones rang some familiar Republican talking points in a phone interview with Gun Owners of America president Larry Pratt, accusing Democrats of widespread voter fraud and speaking of immigration reform in fearful terms. “They stole the election. That’s what I’m worried about, Larry,” Jones told Pratt. “There’s so much election fraud now. They’re about to legalize the 30 million illegals. But they know this is their last shot, because America is starting to wake up.” Jones did not offer any evidence for his claim of election fraud. However past claims of fraudulent voting have already been debunked by not only non-partisan groups, but Republican strategists and even elected officials who have instituted measures seeking to restrict access to the polls. Jones also did not provide a source for his estimate on the number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. Current estimates place that total at around 11 million people, a number which has been the baseline figure used during lawmakers’ current negotiations on the immigration reform bill proposed by a group of eight Republican and Democratic senators. For his part, Pratt accused President Barack Obama of being a “full-bore Marxist” who has centralized government power in the wake of his re-election in November 2012. “In his view, evidently, the fact that he barely got 50-plus percent of the vote means he can do anything he wants,” said Pratt of Obama, who defeated Republican Mitt Romney with 51.1 percent of the popular vote and 332 electoral college votes. “That he’s not the president in a constitutional republic where the president can do certain things and most things the president cannot do.” Alex Jones please have several seats.

Matt Kemp, Dodgers Outfielder, Hands Over Uniform to Sick Fan

It’s safe to say Matt Kemp is anything but a sore loser. Sunday night, after getting swept by the San Francisco Giants, the Dodgers outfielder didn’t forget about a promise he made to third base coach Tim Wallach. Moments after the game, he made his way to the first row of stands because he had promised to sign an autograph for a terminally ill Dodgers fan, Joshua Jones. But Kemp ended up doing a lot more than that:  Matt Kemp Gives Fan Uniform Taking off his cap, jersey and cleats, the 28-year-old baseball superstar handed them all to this 19-year-old suffering from inoperable brain tumors. “I was in shock,” Jones said in a phone interview Tuesday. “I was sitting there thinking, ‘I can’t believe he’s doing this.’” Asked about the incident, Kemp didn’t even make a big deal of it. “I didn’t plan on taking the jersey off, but it’s something I felt would probably cheer him up a little bit … and that was my first time taking my shoes off in front of the fans,” he told reporters. “But life is so much bigger than baseball.”

Dr. Conrad Murray Today Interview: Don’t Blame Me!

Dr. Conrad Murray is – again – proclaiming innocence when it comes to the death of Michael Jackson, telling Today in a phone interview that he’s not to blame. Murray also says he hopes to practice medicine again some day. Even if he can legally pull that off, we can’t exactly envision the patients lining up … Conrad Murray on Today Speaking with the NBC morning show, Murray did say that he’s sorry Michael Jackson died, but he still says he is in no way responsible for his death. Murray is sticking to his story, which did not play well with a jury in his manslaughter trial, that Michael Jackson killed himself with a fatal dose of Propofol. Conrad is also potentially a key figure in the MJ wrongful death suit , though he has insisted he wants no part of that when it comes to either side. The doc, who’s serving a four-year prison term, says he did not appeal it to shorten his sentence – though he would no doubt take it – but for another reason: So he can restore his medical license and see patients again. Again … we’re all for second chances and all, but … no.

Lil Wayne Speaks On His Seizures For the first time since his widely publicized “near-death” hospitalization a few weeks ago, YMCMB bossman Lil Wayne has spoken out about his health and what caused he seizures. DJ Felli Fel of Power 106 Radio in L.A. recently caught up with the Young Money rapper for a phone interview, during which Weezy revealed that his seizures were nothing new. “The bad news is I’m an epileptic. I’m prone to seizures. This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures, ya’ll just never hear about them. But this time it got real bad ’cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 percent. Basically, I could’ve died, so that is why it was so serious…. But the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That’s just typical me though.” Wayne also spoke in detail about his camp being aware of his condition: “I have people around me. I actually have them so much they already know what to do. They already know how to handle it. Certain times I don’t even go to the hospital, but this time, it was real bad because it was three in a row, and I’ve never had three back to back like that. The third one was so bad and I live in the hills in L.A. So the reason why it was bad was that I live all the way at the top, so you know how hard it is getting down those hills. That was what was so scary about it.” So, according to Weezy, him getting slizzard on syrup like it’s water has nothing to do with these seizures…or maybe he just decided to leave that part out.
