9 Celebs Who Are Just the Worst Human Beings

Some celebrities you know and love have done some awful things. We know. Haven't we all. But we are talking really awful, beyond youthful mistakes or things that aren't as bad as they sound in context. These are acts that venture into the territory where they defy comprehension, and you can arguably consider them horrible human beings. Are we being too judgmental? Maybe, but we didn't do any of this … 1. Sean Penn Sean Penn would be horrible enough for riding around self-righteously on his high horse or being a pretentious douche, but he was Chris Brown before Chris Brown was Chris Brown. That’s right. Back when he was married to Madonna, he tied her to a chair and beat the living crap out of her for hours. Madonna eventually escaped and had him arrested, but decided later to drop charges in order to avoid a media frenzy. She did get a divorce, too, at least. 2. Vince Neil Vince Neil, the lead singer of Motley Crue, was having a house party in 1984. He drove drunk, got into a crash and killed his best friend Razzle in the process; Vince later said “I wrote a $2.5 million check for vehicular manslaughter when Razzle died … I should have gone to prison. I definitely deserved to go to prison. But I did 30 days in jail and got laid and drank beer, because that’s the power of cash. That’s fucked up.” Hey, at least he’s honest. 3. Jimmy Page Jimmy of Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, and is widely regarded as one of the craziest rock stars … but that stops being cool after a line is crossed. In 1972, he effectively kidnapped a 14 year old, Lori Maddox, had sex with her and stashed her away to avoid prison. Allegedly, his roadie nabbed her for Page, telling her, “You f–king move and I’ll fucking have your head.” Lori actually stayed with him for years, saying the whole thing was “romantic.” Pretty incredible. 4. Tim Allen Tim Allen was one of the biggest stars of the 1990s and beyond with Home Improvement, the Santa Clause and the like. But in the late 1970s he was one of the biggest drug dealers you ever heard of. He got busted trying to smuggle 1.4 POUNDS of cocaine on a plane, enough to get sent away for life or close to it. Unless you snitch on every dealer you ever met, which he did; Allen got 3-7 years and only served 28 months before turning his career around in remarkable fashion. 5. Rick James Rick James is known for the hit song “Superfreak” and for Dave Chappelle’s hilarious portrayal of him. Good thing, too, because he could be known for assaulting Frances Alley and taking her hostage for stealing his drugs. He tied her up for days, burned her with his crack pipe, and raped her; Rick was convicted of two charges but not torture, which would’ve carried a life sentence. 6. Michael Jackson Many Michael Jackson fans believe the late King of Pop was simply misunderstood, and it’s true, he was never convicted in criminal court for any of his alleged crimes against minors. But ask yourself: Would you leave your own kids around MJ? Exactly. View Slideshow

Report: Heidi Klum to Divorce Seal

Heidi Klum is filing for divorce from Seal, according to reports. Sources say the supermodel will file divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court as early as next week, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the divorce. The couple married in May 2005 and have three biological children together. Seal also adopted Heidi’s eldest daughter from a prior relationship with Flavio Briatore. So far, neither party has confirmed the report, first posted by TMZ. It is unclear what prompted the imminent dissolution of the marriage or how the matter leaked. The pair, long regarded as one of Hollywood’s most stable relationships, is famous for renewing their vows every year on their anniversary … in a lavish ceremony. They are also not PDA-shy when it comes to love for each other and their family. Suffice it to say, if this news is indeed true, it would be a major surprise to most. As for splitting up their assets, there’s a lot on the line. According to Forbes , in the last year alone, Heidi Klum earned more than $20 million. It’s unclear how much Seal, an award-winning recording artist, made. [Photo: WENN.com]

Legal ruling delays 14-year-old’s attempt to sail solo round the world

Dutch court extends supervision order for Laura Dekker, who is a ward of the state, amid concerns for her safety A Dutch court has extended a supervision order on a 14-year-old girl, further delaying her quest to become the latest and youngest teenager to sail solo around the world. Laura Dekker was made a ward of the state last year amid concerns that her plan to set sail aboard her small yacht would endanger her physical and social welfare. She was 13 at the time. The decision comes after 16-year-old Abby Sunderland had to be rescued in the Indian Ocean after a similar attempt last week, prompting widespread criticism of her parents for allowing her to undertake such a dangerous journey alone. Sunderland’s voyage ended when waves snapped her mast, prompting a 20-hour international rescue operation. In Holland, Dekker has taken on an intense period of training to try to convince the authorities she is capable of completing the journey, her lawyer Peter de Lange told the court. She has passed a first aid diploma, become accustomed to lack of sleep and arranged to do schoolwork online. But the court in the southern Dutch city of Middelburg ruled that she should remain under state supervision for at least another month. Social workers had asked for a two-month extension of the order. Under the conditions of the ruling, Dekker has been allowed to live at home but her parents have had to consult child protection authorities about all major decisions. Dekker lives with her father, who is encouraging her record-breaking plans, while her mother has objected. The couple are separated. Last December, out of apparent frustration at the court order, Dekker fled alone to the Dutch Caribbean island of St Maarten. When she returned two days later, she was interviewed by the police. The unofficial record for the youngest round-the-world sailor belongs to 16-year-old Australian Jessica Watson , who completed her voyage last month. Massimiliano Allegri cleared to become Milan coach

• Former Cagliari manager released from his contract • Milan indicated last week that Allegri was choice as new coach Cagliari have announced they have released Massimiliano Allegri from his contract “following a request from AC Milan”, leaving him free to take over the reins of the Serie A giants. Allegri was relieved of his duties at Cagliari in April but remained contracted to the Sardinian club until 2011. The Milan vice-president, Adriano Galliani, confirmed last week they would name Allegri as their new coach as soon as they got the green light from Cagliari. A statement on the Cagliari website read: “Despite the bitterness and disappointment left to us by the lack of interest shown by coach Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the championship, following a request by the AC Milan president, Massimo Cellino [the Cagliari chairman] decided to release him. “Even having made him available to Milan, Cagliari have not requested any financial compensation, given the impossibility of quantifying the value of feelings. “The only positive note is that the end of the relationship with Allegri allows us to draw a definitive line under it and we can dedicate ourselves to the future of Cagliari through the choice of a new coach.” The Rossoneri have been looking for a new coach since Leonardo parted company with the club after just one season in charge. Allegri is regarded as one of the country’s finest young managers, and the 42-year-old was voted the best coach of the 2008-09 season ahead of the former Inter manager, José Mourinho.
