Lamar Odom’s crack addiction is beyond bad. We’re talking the point where even his own dealer, a man who deals crack for a living, had to cut him off. Lamar Odom Watch: Where is He Now? TMZ quotes sources close to the dealer in claiming that he had delivered the powerful substance to the NBA star all summer long, but it got to be too much. Last week, Lamar Odom’s crack addiction became insatiable. Incessantly, he would call, demanding more and more crack. Apparently even his longtime, go-to dealer got scared enough to cut Lamar off … partly for his own good but mostly to cover his own behind as well. After all, if Odom dies, he’d no longer be off the grid. Authorities would investigate and come down on him like wife Khloe Kardashian is trying to come down on her husband, only he’d actually go to prison. Lamar, of course, has not necessarily stopped using. He just had to find a new source, which isn’t hard if you’re invested in the whole scene like he apparently is. Guy has his connections all over it seems. The name Polina Polonsky ring a bell? In fact, after leaving rehab after one day , rumors surfaced that he wasn’t ready to get clean or admit he had an issue, and is already back on drugs. He’s refused multiple interventions from Khloe Kardashian’s family, his former NBA teammates and his friends from NYC, but no one can get through. There are reports that Odom is receiving out-patient treatment for addiction, and though this has not been confirmed, we really hope it’s the case. Any treatment is better than nothing right now. He was last seen Friday at a sushi restaurant, where he ordered soup and green tea. So there’s that.

Kwame Harris , a former offensive lineman for the 49ers, confirmed last week that he is gay. But Brendon Ayanbadejo – a special teams standout released this month by the Baltimore Ravens – says we should expect a lot more movement on this front in the near future. “We’re in talks with a handful of players who are considering [coming out],” Ayanbadejo tells The Baltimore Sun . “There are up to four players being talked to right now and they’re trying to be organized so they can come out on the same day together. It would make a major splash and take the pressure off one guy. It would be a monumental day if a handful or a few guys come out.” Just a few days ago, a CBS Sports report also claimed an active player would reveal himself as a homosexual, something that is yet to happen in any American professional sport. All of this speculation comes as the gay marriage debate heats up amidst the California Supreme Court weighing the legality of Proposition 8.

As the battle over Kate Gosselin and her online detractors rages on, Jon Gosselin is back in the middle of it and being accused of plotting to defame his ex. Anti-bullying activist James McGiney, says he can prove Jon and anti-Kate author Robert Hoffman joined forces in a scheme to lie about Kate for profit. McGinley, who owns Bullyville , recently announced a crusade (and lawsuit) against people he says have crossed the line in attacking the mother of eight. That has not deterred Hoffman, Kate’s most ardent critic. His once-banned e-book about her is on the verge of being put back on the Internet, and in response McGibney says he will expose Hoffman’s “lies” and “deceit.” Including working with Jon to take down Kate. McGibney has set up hoffmanbook.com and @hoffmanbook, promising he will release proof of a money trail fueling the anti-Kate Gosselin material. “I’m going after Jon, a lawyer involved in this and Hoffman,” McGibney told Radar regarding Hoffman’s self-published Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World . The book was briefly for sale on Amazon last year but was removed by the e-retailer after two days when lawyers for Kate demanded it be taken down. Around the same time, rumors surfaced that Jon Gosselin gave Hoffman access to Kate’s computer hard drives, filled with contracts, journals and other info. Hoffman claimed he pulled all of that out of her trash. If he’s intimidated by Bullyville’s efforts – the site recently outed her stalkers on Twitter – he’s not showing it. In fact, he seems to be loving the attention. “Thank you to bullyville.com for putting the national spotlight back on a story that had been swept under the rug and had been long forgotten,” he writes. But McGibney signaled his own charge into the battle with this tweet: @BullyVille: Coming Soon! Hoffman Book ~theft, lies and the money trail.” Game on.
