According to Radar Online Just two days after George Zimmerman‘s wife called the cops on him alleging he punched her father in the nose and had a gun he was threatening to shoot them with, Shellie Zimmerman appeared with her attorney at a press conference where they explained they’d like the divorce to “end with a whimper, not a bang.” Shellie’s lawyer, Kelly Sims, did all the talking at the news conference on Wednesday stating that his client could not speak out on the incident because it’s still being investigated and she’s currently on probation. According to Sims, a miscommunication — which can be seen in text messages between Shellie and George here — led to Monday’s incident in which he claims George was at the home when Shellie was trying to move stuff out, just watching silently and taking photos. Sims said George “knew he wasn’t supposed to be there.” “Shellie had a valid reason why she believed George was armed,” Sims said, citing a newly purchased shoulder gun holster they knew George had recently purchased. “Shellie Zimmerman wants this relationship to end with a whimper, not a bang.” Karma is a beyotch. As Radar previously reported, Shellie filed for divorce from George last week. “Apparently the young lady that was with him (George) indicated that there were guns in the car,” Sims also said. “The bottom line is, Shellie had every reason to believe there was a gun and to want the police there.” Authorities are still working to retrieve footage Shellie took on her iPad — which was destroyed by George during the altercation — of the incident, which Sims says will prove Shellie had reason to feel afraid. “The complete evidence is the iPad, which you saw, was destroyed by the other guy,” Sims said of George. And when asked what life has been like for Shellie since George’s acquittal in the controversial shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin, Sims described it as “like she’s been on the Tower of Terror and she’s falling.” “These folks need to be on opposite sides of the country,” he continued. “Shellie’s desire is to stay as far away from him as she can… And hopefully he feels the same way about her. “She’s said it many times to me, when you don’t know anymore the person who used to sleep next to you,” Sims concluded. “No more needs to be said.” He may have got off for killing Trayvon Martin, but trouble will follow him for the rest of his life. Not again . George Zimmerman Will Not Be Charged In Violent Gun Incident This guy keeps having brushes with the law and getting away scott-free……Wtf? According to TMZ Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell tells us, Shellie and her father have declined to press charges and George will NOT be arrested. He said, “My understanding is that she never saw his firearm and that is what she is now telling us. So George Zimmerman is free to go and will not be arrested at this time.” The chief of police where Zimmerman was arrested isn’t feeling him either. Police Chief Steve Bracknell tells TMZ, he’s frustrated Shellie Zimmerman changed her story. Chief Bracknell says of Zimmerman, “The guy just can’t stay out of the news” — referring to the Trayvon Martin killing, speeding tickets and now this. Bracknell says, “You’d think he’d get the heck out of Dodge.” We’re told Shellie recanted her story after talking to her lawyer. The Chief said because of her flip-flopping, “There was not enough to affect an arrest, unfortunately.” Bracknell seems concerned that Zimmerman is bent on causing trouble, saying, “It’s smoke, smoke smoke. Is there a fire somewhere? Lord knows.” We asked him if he’d feel safe if Zimmerman was his next door neighbor. Pennsylvania resident May Seng Yang says she first met the Oscar-nominated actor, who is now appearing in Lee Daniels’ No. 1 flick “The Butler,” when he was separated from his first wife and dining with his kids at a local pizzeria. She says things quickly turned sexual, and they continued seeing each other even after his 2010 marriage to Michelle Ghent Howard. The 40-year-old brunette beauty shared email and text messages with the Daily News backing up her claim. Michelle, 36, now has a restraining order against Terrence based on claims he “sucker punched” and choked her in a Costa Rica vacation home during a failed reconciliation in July. The ex-wife filed new court paperwork last week claiming the “Hustle & Flow” actor physically abused her in Toronto and threatened a murder-suicide with an X-Acto blade just two weeks before their divorce was finalized on May 6 in Los Angeles. SMH. Terrence has denied ever laying a finger on Michelle and said in his own court filing that her allegations are a vengeful attempt to “ruin” his career. “I believe Michelle. I’ve seen the same behavior firsthand. He’s very likable, but when he gets in a certain headspace, it’s scary,” Yang told the News Tuesday. “He didn’t have these tendencies when I first met him, but in the last five years, he’s progressed to dangerous behavior,” she said, explaining that he was devastated by his beloved mom’s 2008 cancer death and became “depressed” over the loss. “He would say he wished he could just stop breathing,” she said. Yang’s relationship with Terrence took a dark turn on May 6, 2012, when she dropped by his Pennsylvania house unannounced. She said she ran to a neighbor’s house and called 911, but when cops arrived, Terrence claimed she was the aggressor and had a visible scratch on his face. According to TMZ A chunk of the money George Zimmerman raised for his legal defense is now going to support his soon-to-be ex-wife … TMZ has learned. According to divorce docs that will soon be filed by Shellie Zimmerman, she claims she’s getting $4,300 a month in living expenses from the Zimmerman Legal Defense Fund. The couple separated August 13th. According to the solicitation on PayPal … the fund is to be used “for George Zimmerman’s ongoing living expenses, legal costs, and fees for this matter.” Now it gets a little more complicated. George Zimmerman’s official legal defense website says, “Currently George and Shellie are renting a secure residence at a reasonable rate. Their day-to-day living expenses are relatively modest as they want to preserve as many funds as possible for an aggressive defense.” But here’s the thing. He won almost 2 months ago, and the site raised more than $300,000. He may still owe money to his lawyers, but the case is over and it’s a little weird the $4,300 a month is going to Shellie individually … not the legal team. How do you use your legal defense fund to pay your estrangd wife?
