Deuces: Jennifer Hudson Threatened To Leave, Had Former Friend Booted From “People’s Choice” Awards!

Jennifer Hudson pulled a diva move at the “People’s Choice Awards” Wednesday — threatening to leave the show if producers didn’t remove a former friend form his front row seat. According to RadarOnline reports : Jennifer Hudson’s triumphant night at the People’s Choice Awards was perfect on screen, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she created a spectacle backstage and had security throw an ex-friend out of his seat on the front row. The Oscar winner was honored with the Favorite Humanitarian Award on Wednesday night, but an eyewitness said she had rapper Lord Kraven tossed from his spot by security. “Jennifer loudly threatened ‘Either he leaves or I leave,’ and was waving her finger in the face of a security guard” the source said. Kraven was promptly tossed out of his seat and “the situation continued to escalate outside the main auditorium and required the assistance of LAPD.” According to the source, an LAPD officer determined that the Nokia Theatre security had acted in haste and offered to escort the pop recording artist back inside. The source said the bad blood from the two stems from an appearance Lord Kraven made on HLN’s Showbiz Tonight in April 2012 during the trial for the murder of her family members. “Before then Jennifer and Lord Kraven were close, but ever since then she has declared war against him.” Well damn, we were just about to call her out but she might just have a point. If he wasn’t being a good friend to her during that time in her life and was famesloring to be on TV then we can see why she’d want him booted. What do you think? Was Jennifer perfectly within her rights? Twitter/ReverbNation Continue reading

Britney Spears Works With Travis Barker For Femme Fatale

After Rodney Jerkins discusses ‘out-of-the-box’ track, a rep for Barker confirms collabo to MTV News. By James Montgomery Britney Spears Photo: Courtesy of Zomba Records In a recent interview with MTV News, producer Rodney Jerkins said that, on her upcoming Femme Fatale album, Britney Spears got “hands-on,” supplying him with “a lot of ideas” and helping shape the energetic sound of the project. “She’s great. She gets it,” Jerkins said. “She is a top-notch veteran pro at this now.” So it should probably come as no surprise that, somewhere along the line, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker came to be involved in recording the album — because, while we’re not sure if bringing him onboard was Britney’s idea, he is most certainly the kind who can bring the energy. And, as Jerkins said in a recent sit-down with Headline News’ “Showbiz Tonight,” the experience of working with Spears and Barker was a new one for everyone involved. “I’m really excited. … I did two songs on her album, and one of the songs I did, I brought in Travis Barker, and it’s got this rock feel which is out of the box, out of my norm, and I think it’s out of her norm as well,” Jerkins said. “We had a great time making this record.” Jerkins didn’t elaborate on much else about the Barker song or Britney’s album, saying only that the project is “classic Britney spears, uptempo heavy, of course. It’s new and different.” A spokesperson for Barker confirmed to MTV News that the collaboration happened “about a month ago” but, much like Jerkins, wouldn’t reveal any additional details of the song. Spears’ Femme Fatale is due March 29. What do you think of Britney Spears’ new music? Let us know in the comments! GLAAD Gets CNN Poll Spiked, Finds It ‘Troubling’ That an Opponent from MRC Allowed in CNN Story

The gay left hates debate – especially the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. They’re furious that CNN Headline News offered balance and came to the Media Research Center’s Culture and Media Institute for a negative opinion on homosexuality. That’s apparently beyond the pale. Mediaite reported that GLAAD succeeded in pressuring CNN into spiking an online poll that asked the question “Is the surge in gay TV characters ‘bad for society’?” On the GLAAD blog , Aaron McQuade found it was “troubling” for CNN to allow dissent: The report then goes on to give a troubling amount of airtime to anti-gay activist Dan Gainor from the Culture and Media Institute , who does believe that it’s “bad for society” to offer authentic depictions of the lives of LGBT people. He remarked that, “Hollywood has done a great deal of work causing acceptance in American culture for homosexuality.” Why would you object to this sentence? This happens to be as factual as asserting that the sky is blue. It also acknowledges GLAAD’s power to pressure Hollywood. The only answer is that Gainor seems to disapprove, and disapproval is not allowed. It’s a false “dualism” to allow debate: But CNN’s offensive poll and its attempts to manufacture controversy by granting a platform to so-called experts like Gainor follows an alarming trend of media outlets creating simplistic, predictable “pro-gay”/”anti-gay” dualisms that do a great disservice to viewers who are seeking information on the diversity of opinion and experience within our community. We will continue to challenge this type of coverage. That is, the “type of coverage” that allows anyone to disagree.
