Love And Hip Hop Sued For Copyright Infringement BOSSIP just received word that the VH1 reality show empire is about to take a serious hit in the form of a lawsuit totaling an estimated $50 million for copyright infringement. Among the plaintiffs in the suit is a production company by the name of 8th Wonder Entertainment, which claims that a script was submitted for a show called “Hip Hop Wives” that was set to star Chrissy Lampkin, DMX’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons and Swizz Beatz’ ex-wife Mashonda Tifere. According to legal documents, a pitch meeting was held with VH-1 and the show was given a green light, but unbeknownst to the plaintiffs, details of the script and the stars attached were leaked to Mona Scott-Young with the understanding the information would be kept confidential. Basically, the plaintiffs allege that Mona, along with VH1′s vice president plotted to steal their premise for what would become Love & Hip Hop . Mona Scott, Vh-1 and Viacom are among those named in the massive lawsuit that is set to be the largest copyright infringement case in reality TV history. Story developing….
