Kanye West grew emotional at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. No, not like Justin Bieber . No one questioned whether the rapper fake cried at any point during his speech to accept the Video Vanguard Award. But Kanye did stand for many moments (after being introduced by Taylor Swift !) in order to soak in the staring ovation that came his way on Sunday night. West kicked off his speech by saying “Bro. Bro!” before explaining how having a daughter with Kim Kardashian has changed him. “I will die for the art, for the art I believe in, and the art ain't always gonna be polite,” West went on to say, adding: “I know y'all might be thinking, 'Did he smoke something before he came out here? And the answer is yes, I did roll a little something.” Kanye then dropped the Donald Trump-esque bombshell: “I have decided in 2020 to run for president.” Is he serious? You never really know with West, do you?
