We get to talk to people faster, connect with people from all across the globe, and be as nosey as we want without the fear of being creepy. And don’t get me started on the abundant access we have to breaking news. The days of waiting for the 6 o’clock news to find out what happened to your favorite celebrity are long gone (thank goodness). But with many benefits comes many disadvantages. First of all, it’s hard to get anything done when you can avoid tedious tasks by just scrolling through the ‘gram all day. Not to mention the fact that it plays a major part in the development of our self esteem. Especially as millenials. There’s a quote by Steven Furtick that says: “The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind the scenes with everyone else’s highlight reel.” That one quote pretty much sums up all the drawbacks of social networking. Which also raises the question, how would life be if social media never existed? Folks took to Twitter to share how they think the game of life would be different if there were no Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. The #IfSocialMediaDidntExist hashtag is trippy to me because I remember a time when it actually didn't exist. It's kind of crazy how there are people alive right now who don't know what it was like. BFF Jordyn Woods and her sister Khloe Kardashian , and luckily for us, it looks like that day has finally come. While gearing up for tonight’s season 16 premiere, the KarJenner clan spoke with The New York Times about the drama that unfolds in the upcoming episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians , of course including Jordyn’s betrayal. Though the family didn’t say much about what went down between the family and Jordyn or what we’ll actually get to see about it on the show, Kylie did speak on the rumors surrounding her lip kit discounts immediately following the drama. Fans started to noticed that shortly after news broke of the alleged affair between Jordyn and Khloe’s baby daddy Tristan, the price of the Jordy lip kit was cut in half on Kylie Cosmetics— but according to Jenner, she was completely unaware of the coincidentally-timed clearance. “That is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back,” she told the New York Times . “Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.” Kylie added that the price cut had been put into play weeks earlier as the company switched from white to black packaging, and that she immediately reached out to an employee once she realized what happened. As of Saturday, the price of the sold-out Jordy lip kit had been restored to $27, while the Kylie x Jordyn best friend collab–which the pair just launched back in September–was still selling both an eyeshadow palette and a highlighter quad palette at full price. Though this doesn’t necessarily say much about how Kylie and Jordyn’s relationship is doing now, it makes a pretty strong case that they might be back as besties sometime in the future. It’s clear from her comments that Kylie doesn’t have any ill-will toward her longtime BFF and might just be waiting until this whole thing blows over until they rekindle their friendship.

Come on down, Piers Morgan and Mel B! Take a bow! And then go retreat right back into the hole where you belong. For those who have been off the Internet all day, Cooper and Gaga performed a rendition of “Shallow” at the Oscars. The track, which went on to win Best Original Song at the ceremony, is from the film A Star is Born and it’s a romantic duet between the characters portrayed in the drama by Cooper and Gaga. And… boy, did these two artists sing it in romantic fashion on Sunday evening. See for yourself: Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Sing “Shallow,” Get All of America Pregnant Most viewers responded to this performance by referencing the clear chemistry between Cooper and Gaga, joking that they should get a room and/or wishing they were a real-life couple. But Morgan and the former Spice Girl seemed legitimately upset about the duet, expressing as much on something called Good Morning Britain today. “I felt so uncomfortable for Bradley’s girlfriend, oh my gosh,” Brown said to Morgan, adding: “I would like to think it was part of the whole performance, because there’s a women’s code and hopefully that’s not … hopefully it’s only professional.” Hmmm, is there also a women’s code that centers around NOT starting salacious rumors, Melanie? Because that’ exactly what you just did here. For the record, Cooper has been dating supermodel Irina Shayk for four years. They share a 23-month old daughter together and they walked the red carpet together at this very event. Yes, Gaga and Christian Carino recently called off their engagement after two years together — but there’s no evidence whatoever that Gaga’s relationship with Cooper played any role in this break-up. Heck, there’s actually been chatter that he cheated on her . Might this just have been a case of two folks so talented that each was nominated for an Oscar… merely acting as if they were in love? Nope. That’s not possible, Morgan said on air. “Lady Gaga taking her engagement ring off – she just broke off from her fiancé – and if you put the math together, you have engagement ring off, and then staring at Bradley Cooper in a way that I would say crosses a few,” he actually speculated. Now, we know no one thinks of Piers Morgan as a hard journalist, but still. What the heck, dude? This is a wildly irresponsible thing to say. Shayk, it should be noted, sat front row at the Oscars and cheered on Cooper and Gaga throughout the performance. We’re confident she’s secure enough in her romance to not give an eff what Morgan thinks. Which is really the stance everyone should always take when it comes to Piers Morgan.
