The first trailer for Furious 7 has arrived. And it’s every bit as awesome, as action-packed and as bittersweet as you’d imagine it to be. The film, set for release on April 3, 2015, features some of the final acting scenes Paul Walker filmed before his stunning death in December of 2013. In the surefire blockbuster, he reprises his role as Brian O’Connor, joining forces up once again with Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto for some serious street racing, some risky heists and a lot of general hijinks. Furious 7 Trailer As Toretto says at one point in the above footage, it’s time for “one last ride.” The trailer also depicts Dom, Brian and other members of this crew – Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty Ortiz, Tyrese’s Roman Pearce and Ludacris’ Tej Parker – revving their car engines… while on board a four-engine transport plane. “Just when you didn’t think it could get any better, huh?” Walker says. Like we said: bittersweet. Walker died in car accident just under a year ago at age 40, leaving behind a daughter. May he rest in peace. Remembering Paul Walker (1973-2013) 1.
