Rick Ross’ Second Baby Mama Says He Took Their Son’s Car Yesterday we reported that Rick Ross’ second baby mama Tia Kemp claimed that she and their son, William Roberts III, was forced to live a modest life because Ross’ child support weren’t enough. The baby mama blasted Ross for paying to maintain the luxurious lifestyle of his THOTS like Lira Galore instead of paying for the education of his own kids. Tia took to her IG last night and now claims that the Teflon Don took away their son’s car in retaliation of her recent baby daddy blast: Rick Ross claims that he’s not in the wrong because the whip is his! Via TMZ : Tia Kemp went HAM on Rick early Thursday … saying, “Rick Ross takes the car from his Son Again!!” — in a post that included a shot of their 9-year-old standing next to the BMW B7, just to tug at the heart strings. A source close to Rick tells TMZ … yeah, he took the car, but it’s not theft since Rick paid for it. The fact that Tia says it belongs to their son is kind of a stretch — we’re told Rick lets Tia use it to drive the kid to school, but it’s always been in Rick’s name. Still, Tia’s not having it. She’s spent all day posting pics of Rick with just about everyone — Jay Z, Diddy, LeBron James, T.I., and French Montana — begging them to convince Rick to give back the whip. Debarge is the Teflon Don … “Rhythm of the Night” singer El DeBarge is in the clear after he was arrested for drug possession this week — because the L.A. County D.A. has declined to file charges. According to official D.A. documents, the case was rejected due to insufficient evidence. TMZ broke the story … DeBarge was arrested on Tuesday for felony possession of narcotics with intent to sell — the singer’s third drug arrest since 2001. According to the docs, police officers noticed DeBarge and another man speaking on the street — and for some reason, decided to search them … without giving a reason why. After searching them and coming up with nothing — cops claim they perused the surrounding area … and found a baggie of rock cocaine hidden under a nearby car. The other man insisted he was there to buy the rock from DeBarge — but DeBarge denied the accusation … and the D.A. decided there wasn’t enough evidence to make the charge stick. These rappers think they’re brolic, but DeBarge beat his case in a couple of days. Top that! He probably just looked in the cop’s eyes and sang a ditty until they just let him off the hook. Rick Ross ‘Teflon Don’ Moniker Criticized By Mobster’s Family

By Mawuse Ziegbe Rick Ross’ Teflon Don Photo: Def Jam After scoring several acquittals throughout the ’80s, reputed New York mobster John Gotti was nicknamed the “Teflon Don” because of his apparent inability to get convicted. Decades later, Miami MC Rick Ross has adopted the moniker for the title of his latest album; however, a member of Gotti’s family is not happy with the use of the late mob boss’ handle. “He should have asked for permission,” Gotti’s grandson Carmine Agnello told the New York Daily News. “A stand-up, respectable guy would come and ask, ‘If I could use the nickname.’ ” Agnello also implied that lifting the mob boss’ moniker was an unoriginal choice on Ross’ part. “I think he’s a great artist, but you can’t just start calling yourself that to sell records,” Agnello said. “He wants to go for that whole image, but hey, be yourself.” Agnello added, “My grandfather paid his dues for that nickname. That was my grandfather’s life.” Agnello also took a dig at Ross’ controversial pre-rap career as a prison guard and said, “Only in America can you go from being a corrections officer to calling yourself Teflon Don.” A rep for Ross did not respond to MTV News’ request for comment at press time. Although the moniker is often associated with the headline-making mob honcho, Ross said the title has personal significance. “A lot of people don’t know Teflon Don was my original rap name,” Ross told MTV News in January . “So it’s coming back around full-circle.” While Agnello has taken issue with Ross’ adoption of the Teflon Don title, it’s not the first time the Miami MC has woven notorious gangster references into his hip-hop persona. Ross recently released the mixtape, The Albert Anastasia EP, the title of which is a nod to another New York mobster. Ross was also reportedly sued by the infamous drug pusher Ricky Ross for . Regardless of the accusations being lobbed the MC’s way, Ross has said that he’s trying to top his previous work with his latest effort. “Myself, I try to get better and better with every rhyme I make — every rhyme I bring to the table, I want to make sure it’s more potent than the last,” Ross said. “I’m setting this album, Teflon Don, to be the album of my career.” Related Artists Rick Ross (Hip-Hop)

The R&B songstress also chats about hooking up the Teflon Don with his own reality show By Mawuse Ziegbe with reporting by Shaheem Reid Rick Ross and Monica Photo: MTV News R&B singer Monica might be hooking up with Rick Ross on a track very soon. While chopping it up with the Miami bawse in a joint interview with MTV News, the Still Standing diva brought up the idea of collaborating on a song. “We got a do a record together,” Monica told MTV News about teaming up with Ross. “So, you make sure you call me, I’m there,” Monica playfully instructed the Teflon Don. The stars kept the potential collaboration all about the music as Monica refused to charge for the record. “We don’t do money,” Monica insisted, shaking her head. “I don’t want nothing.” Ross agreed: “We go too far back, it’s whatever.” While the ATL songbird and the Miami rapper may seem like a random pairing to some, the stars revealed that they go way back as figures in the Southern music scene. “I was on the grind but she most definitely was doing her thing and I’ve just been a quiet supporter for years,” said Ross. “I got little brothers, for real, by blood but now I got big brothers in these streets,” Monica added, gesturing to Ross. “I’m thankful.” In addition to possibly working on a song together, Monica also mentioned that Ross might have a reality show coming his way. The singer, who stars in the BET reality show, “Monica: Still Standing,” said that the producers behind her series are interested in working with Ricky Rozay. “My people that actually did my show, they want to do a show about Rick because they always ask me who do I feel like, represents something very strong out here,” said Monica. “That was just something that we talked about so, they actually been looking for you for about two weeks,” the star informed Ross. “Monica: Still Standing” is produced by DuBose Entertainment . Whether or not the Rick Ross-Monica joint pops off or the singer makes a cameo in any upcoming Ross reality show, Monica will definitely busy soon as the star is heading out on the Passion, Pain & Pleasure Tour with Trey Songz this summer.
