The Dukes of Hazzard James Best has died at age 88. Best died Monday night in Hickory, North Carolina, his wife told The Associated Press. He was suffering from complications of pneumonia. Best is survived by his wife, a son, two daughters and three grandchildren. Born Jewel Franklin Guy in Powderly, Ky., Best spent time in an orphanage after his mother#39;s death when he was a child and was later raised by adoptive parents in Indiana.
