Alexander initially staged his dad’s April 2018 death to appear as a suicide, telling Durham County police that he had found his dad unresponsive in their basement with a dog leash wrapped three times around his neck and the dog still attached. Dad was found dead with a dog leash on his neck. When police arrived at their North Carolina home, they found William in a chair unresponsive, without a leash around his neck. They also found 25 pieces of gold valued around $463,000 in his office. Bishop was rushed to the hospital and where he died three days later of stargulation. Forensic specialist went to the teens school after the death and searched his email and Iphone. They found some pretty suspicious info, including how to calculate the value of an estate and how to transfer bank accounts. On Friday, Alexander was arrested for the murder of his father. He will be tried as an adult.

She competed against some of the best track stars in the country. White finished off with a 22.82 sprint, edging out runners from Louisiana State University, Arkansas, and Alabama. After hitting that milestone, she is now ranked No. 1 in the world, the country, and her school’s conference which is the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). Aside from holding the top spot for the 200m, White is also nationally ranked in 60m and the 60-meter hurdles competition. “She’s special,” Duane Ross , director of track and field programs at North Carolina A&T State University, said in a statement. “She was due to drop something fast. Her training has been going well and she’s hungry to be the best. I knew the race was won once she stepped into the blocks. Her focus and preparation were great this weekend.” Last season, White received NCAA indoor All-American honors for the 60mh competition. “Once I found out I was really surprised and excited at the same time,” she told WFMY . White also shared that she never set out to become a track star. She was interested in dance and it wasn’t until a coach convinced her to try track that she started her athletic journey and fell in love with the sport. “I would tell other runners to stay dedicated, trust your training, and believe in yourself. Surround yourself with positivity, what you give out is what you get.” Black athletes are continuing the tradition of breaking barriers in 2019. Earlier this month, a group of women from Antigua became the first all-Black women’s rowing team to cross the Atlantic Ocean. It's been almost a year since David Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 , and as horrendous a human being as David is, we have to admit the show is a bit worse off for his absence. After all, horrendous human beings make for good television, and without him, Jenelle has nothing to do on camera except complain about her life in torturously long conversations with her mom. (We're not suggesting the show re-hire David — but maybe it's time to think about firing Jenelle?) Fortunately, we're able to keep tabs on Jenelle and her whole dysfunctional family through social media, where Evans continues to document every second of her waking life. And if you haven't checked in on her Instagram and Twitter pages lately (or if you've been blocked like so many others) you've missed quite a lot: Hanging with Ashley from 90 Day Fiance, faking medical conditions, guzzling brewskis with her kids — Jenelle's been doing it all. If you're not familiar with the term “doomsday prepper,” these are the people who devote their lives to stockpiling weapons and canned goods in preparation for the apocalypse that they're secretly hoping will happen while they're still alive. It's a movement that attracts society's most unhinged and violent elements, so it should come as no surprise that Jenelle Evans and David Eason are hardcore preppers. On a preview for Monday night's episode of Teen Mom 2 , Jenelle reveals to her mother that she and David were downright jazzed about Hurricane Florence, as it would allow them to finally put all their doomsday nonsense into action. Sadly, David didn't get the chance to cut any looters in half with one of his ridiculous hand cannons, but hey, there's always next natural disaster. Not the Brightest Bulb Jenelle took even more criticism for treating the whole thing like a joke. 4. We Can’t With These Two … She also accepted food donations after boasting that her area was barely affected and dismissing the dire forecasts as “fake news.” 5. Preppers Gonna Prep Jenelle was heavily criticized for putting her children in harm’s way, but she says that if the stuff had hit the fan, she and David were fully prepared. 6. Vanity Fair Finally Nails Their Hollywood Issue Cover We’ve been dragging Vanity Fair for YEARS over their lack of inclusion on the covers of their Hollywood Issue, so it’s only right we applaud them as they’ve really nailed it with this year’s cover stars — beginning with Chadwick Boseman who is smack dab on the front page, not tucked into the fold unlike so many black actors before him. Boseman shares the front cover with Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet, two of today’s most acclaimed young stars. The inside cover features Nicholas Hoult, ‘Roma’ breakout star Yalitza Aparicio, Rami Malek and the QUEEN herself Regina King… but the diversity continues with John David Washington, Tessa Thompson and Henry Golding joined by Elizabeth Debicki. Interestingly enough, the cover also mentions inside features like an oral history of the original Hollywood Issue — which did include Angela Bassett, and a celebration of Cicely Tyson by Viola Davis and Annie Leibovitz. So yeah. Vanity Fair you get KUDOS! Keep up the excellent work.
