90 Day Fiance Scandal: Did Azan Tefou Get His Secret Wife Pregnant?

90 Day Fiance fans have been going over Azan Tefou’s every action with a fine-toothed comb, trying to figure out just what is the deal with him and Nicole Nafziger. One day, we’re convinced their relationship is finally over , the next day Nicole is posting about when the wedding will take place . Again. In the latest shocking twist on this emotional roller coaster, it seems Azan not only has a secret wife in Morocco, but he also got her pregnant! If true, this would mean Azan has an entirely different family that he’s been hiding from Nicole all this time. Could he really have been stringing her along all this time? Fans everywhere know the answer is “Absolutely!” 90 Day has been following this couple for years, and Nicole has soldiered on through one disappointment after another. At this point it’s painfully obvious to everyone but Nicole that this man does not care about her. Fans have come up with numerous theories about why Azan is still pretending to be invested in this relationship? Is it to get his hands on a marriage visa? Or maybe just for the exposure? Some have even alleged that he just wants Nicole to keep sending money so he can keep his own family afloat. Any of those explanations seem feasible, but this new allegation blows the others out of the water. Azan is supposed to be using Nicole’s money to invest in the couple’s store.  But the newest rumors circulating around social media suggest he’s spending the money on his newly pregnant wife. If this is true, it ties in perfectly to the couple’s last big incident, which already had fans fuming, and worrying for Nicole. Viewers will remember that Azan bailed on his planned trip to Grenada with Nicole, in the most shady way possible. He broke the news literally the day before the trip was to take place, well after she had already purchased the tickets and made all the plans. Azan could barely be bothered to even come up with an excuse. He just said there was a “family emergency,” and refused to elaborate. Fans didn’t buy it. Nicole’s mother didn’t buy it.  Now it looks like there may have been some truth to Azan’s half-assed excuse. A pregnant wife would certainly qualify as a family emergency. And, it would obviously be the kind of thing he would choose not to go into detail about. Host Shaun Robinson even asked Azan about the Grenada no-show incident during the recent  90 Day Fiance   Tell-All special. Azan did not tell all. He simply doubled down on the secrecy, saying it was private, and he couldn’t talk about it.  Azan is pretty dodgy every time he’s asked about stuff like this. Even when questioned by his fiance on-air, he says the bare minimum, or just goes silent until she changes the subject. Some of their scenes are just painful to watch as a result. The increasingly shady behavior has fans pouring over old social media posts looking for evidence that will prove his infidelity. The search has turned up several individuals who say they know him and his family in Morocco. They claim Azan is definitely taking Nicole for a ride , and that his whole family is in on it. However true these allegations are, it’s clear that something is amiss with Azan. Even if he’s not cheating, he needs to be honest with Nicole about whaveter is really going on. For her part, Nicole is marching bravely (or blindly) onward in the hopes that the couple can make this work. Despite all the setbacks and warnings from friends, family, and even co-stars, she still believes she and Azan will get their happily ever after. We’re pretty sure this guy is a con-artist. But Nicole is a total sweetheart, and for her sake, we hope we’re wrong! View Slideshow: Nicole Nafziger: DUMPED by Azan When She Ran Out of Cash?

The Genius Marketing Behind ‘The Lion King’

Source: Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty T he Lion King is a timeless classic. It’s a movie t hat has maintained relevance over several decades. T he original was released in 1994, earning $968.5 million at t he box office. 25 years later, one of t he most popular animated films in modern history is t aking a victory lap — this t ime with superstars like Beyoncé and Donald Glover t aking t he reigns starring as Nala and Simba. Even for superstars like Bey and Gambino, t hose are pretty heavy paw prints t o fill. A history 25 years deep makes a film like t his almost fail-proof. Millennials and Gen Z alike have experienced t he original along with several of its renditions in Lion King 2 , and 1 ½ . Yes in t hat order. T here was even an animated series made t hat ran for 85 episodes between 1995 and 1999. Essentially, Lion King fans are adults, and some even have children. Either way, we’re more t han happy t o dive into some nostalgia while introducing t he 2000s babies t o a classic. T he Lion King has returned t o unsurprisingly great reviews. “Breathtaking,” “beautiful,” “visually immaculate,” and “stunning” were just a few words used t o describe viewers’ cinematic experience. However, reviews weren’t 100% positive. In t his adaption of t he film t he creators used CGI t echnology. CGI stands for computer-generated imagery, and while films like Avatar t ook t he concept and made incredible work, t his t ype of animation didn’t necessarily bode well when t he primary characters are animals. When lions start speaking English, it’s a little difficult t o just run with it no matter how powerful t he imagery is. As one viewer put it, t he movie was a landmark visual experience, but it t urns out t hat, emotionally, lions just can’t necessarily bring it home. #TheLionKing is a landmark *visual* experience. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I think it’s going to change how we look at movies forever. As an *emotional* experience, though…I’ll put it this way: It turns out lions can’t really emote. — Adam B. Vary (@adambvary) July 10, 2019 Beyond t he film itself, reviews came in strong for t he cultural awareness shown in t he film’s musical efforts. T he soundtrack entitled The Lion King: T he Gift was produced by none other t han Beyoncé herself. Needless t o say, t he Queen made sure t he soundtrack was outfitted with its proper African roots in combination with several other genres, according t o a statement by Queen Bey. “This is a new experience of storytelling,” she said. “I wanted t o do more t han find a collection of songs t hat were inspired by t he film. It is a mixture of genres and collaboration t hat isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, pop, hip hop and Afro Beat.” T he only way t o get a feel for t he film is t o see it yourself. Lion King hits theaters on July 18th, and if you’re like me you’ll be first in line for t ickets. I mean, who doesn’t want t o see Simba put t he paws on Scar one more t ime?

Ja Rule Will Not Be Held Liable In Fyre Festival Lawsuits

Source: Netflix / Fyre Ja Rule is breathing a huge sigh of relief this week. His neck will not be on the line for one of the biggest concert scandals in history. Page Six is reporting that the “Always On Time” rapper is no longer on the legal hook for the Fyre Festival. A judge at a federal Manhattan court ruled that Atkins will no longer be included in the civil suit filed by consumers who paid thousands of dollars each for tickets. On Wednesday, July 10 Judge P. Kevin Castel stated that Ja was “not alleged to have known of individual ticket or merchandise sales”. Originally billed as a “luxury music festival”, Fyre ended up being a fraudulent struggle of epic proportions. When guests arrived in the Bahamas for the opening weekend they were greeted with  cheese sandwiches and FEMA tents instead of gourmet meals and luxury villas they were promised. But the inferior accommodations didn’t stop there as there was no electricity or working bathrooms in place. The scene quickly turned into a modern day  Lord of the Flies . Ja was not in attendance when Judge Castel ruled but his legal team communicated the Queens native’s appreciation. “Mr. Atkins is thankful for today’s ruling and for the Court’s time and attention. Justice was done today” explained Ryan Smith. Organizer Billy McFarland was found guilty of defrauding a total of $27 million dollars. He is currently serving six months in prison. The story was detailed in the jaw dropping Netflix documentary FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.  Photo: Derrick Salters / WENN.com

20 Minutes Saved Laz Alonso’s Mother From Gun Violence

See the original post:

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty The concept of legacy is nothing new to Laz Alonso . The seasoned actor who has starred in films like Jumping The Broom and Just Wright has been forced to think apart from his own financial future from the start of his career. He revealed his first major purchase when Hollywood came calling on the red carpet for the Prudential documentary Legacy Lives On . “I bought my mom a house,” said the actor. He made the purchase with his check from 2005’s Jarhead . Many would have used their windfall from the popcorn flick to splurge on something selfish, but Alonso had one agenda protecting his mother from falling victim to gun violence . “This was D.C. in the eighties,” he explained. “My mother used to park her car in this lady’s house, and she rented rooms too.” His mother routinely parked her car at the woman’s home to prevent it from being broken into or stolen at the height of the city’s crack epidemic. “She went inside and had tea with the old lady every day after work,” he said. “One day my mother got there and there was police tape around the house. One of the rooms was rented to a drug dealer and one day they came in the house and shot the old lady, the drug dealer and the drug dealer’s kids,” he continued somberly. “She had stayed at work a little late this one particular day. Otherwise she would have been there at the table.” Seeing how close his mother had come to losing her life forced Alonso to focus on how money could be a tool to provide for him and his loved ones. “I was like ‘I gotta get my mother out of here. I don’t care how much debt it’s gonna put me in.’” A consistent fixture on the large and small screens he has used his money to invest in not only real estate but projects that afford him the luxuries accompanied by ownership .  He praised the documentary for offering what he called “practical tips not vague information,” on how to save and invest.  He also expressed a desire to make an “investment in the community,” with the funds from his current projects including an Amazon Prime TV Show called The Boys where he will work with Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. He advises younger actors coming into the industry as streaming services threaten to dismantle traditional business models to do the same. “Create, create create,” he said.  “You should be creating. Your intellectual property is your real estate.” DON’T MISS: This Black Financial Blogger Helped Create A Bill To Teach Middle Schoolers Money Management Will Rihanna’s Deal With LVMH Be The Key To More Black Women In Fashion? Dianna Williams A.K.A Coach D Designed Every Costume The Dancing Dolls Have Worn Since The Team Was Founded

Originally posted here:

Source: Will Sterling / Will Sterling Before the Dancing Dolls became reality TV stars with lavish costumes that shimmer when they buck, Dianna Williams (better known as Miss D) sketched their costumes in her living room. Under the guidance of a woman named Mrs. Pat, she learned about costume design and styling. And after a manufacturer would create her concepts, she’d go to work bedazzling them with her weapon of choice, a hot glue gun. “I designed every costume the Dancing Dolls have worn since the team was founded. I sat and drew the costumes. I decided where the cloth was going to go, where the sequins were going to go,” she said passionately during a candid chat. “Most people don’t know that for the first 14 years that the dancing dolls were around. I did the Dancing Doll uniforms all by hand. I did everything I needed to do for those girls costumes.” Miss D has always been obsessed with dolls and dollhouses. “I always used to make my dolls dance,” she revealed. Dianna started the Dancing Dolls when she was 21. She began coaching straight out of college with the support of her grandmother who owned a daycare — the Pied Piper Playhouse where the Dancing Dolls started. “She allowed me to have practice there. She allowed me to start the group there. She sewed their very first dancing uniforms.” When it came to getting uniforms, a dance company Jazzy Dancers was pivotal in clothing the girls. Mrs. Pat and Mr. Skip owned the only dance company in Jackson, Mississippi that sold costumes. “She told me what kind of boots I needed, what type of fish nets and tights to buy the girls because I had no clue.” Source: Stephen J. Cohen / Getty Inspired by Jacksonville University’s Prancing J-Settes collegiate dance team around the corner, it was important for the Dancing Dolls to look as professional as they moved. “I watched them. I seen what it is that they did. I wanted my girls to look like that. I patterned everything behind this upscale collegiate organization that was at a college I inspired to go to ever since I was a little girl. It didn’t matter that I didn’t make the team, I still wanted to make sure my girls had a prestigious look,” she explained. “I created the dancing dolls to give the kids to have something positive to do in our community. Living in Jackson, Mississippi, there’s not a lot to do there. I wanted to create something the kids could be proud of.” She later founded the Dollhouse Dance Factory, which became a pillar in the community. Much of their success can be attributed to Youtube, which has been a huge marketing tool for the Dancing Dolls. “I’ll never forget the user God’s First Dime, she was the first person to put together these videos of the Dancing Dolls. If you type in mini J-Settes you will find a bunch of old footage.” The Dancing Dolls were discovered after Madonna performed at the Super Bowl using the Southern University Dancing Dolls as her background dancers. “I’ll never forget, I got an e-mail and phone call from Pilgrim studios who wanted to do a reality show on the Dancing Dolls. I think they thought they were contacting them.” Hesitant it was a scam, Dianna didn’t immediately respond. “Come to find out they had done their research and realized that the Dancing Dolls that was on the Super Bowl were not the same Dancing Dolls they thought that had. They had Googled Dancing Dolls and my $2.99 GoDaddy website popped up.” But God makes no mistakes and upon further research, they discovered their Youtube videos. The DD4L brand has grown tremendously since then, branching off into several seasons of Bring It and a Bring It! Live Tour .  Source: Bryan Bedder / Getty “The Bring It! Live tour has been a way for us to engage with our fans on a more personal, live level. People watch the show and believe some of the tricks the girls do are just camera tricks but they’re not. Watching them perform on TV and not hearing the real music versus watching them live is a completely different feel. Being at a Bring It! Live show is like being at a rock concert. They’re standing, they’re screaming for their favorite doll.” And chances are, you’re favorite doll will be there. “We have a new crew going on the tour, but we also have old familiar faces. Kayla will be there. Everybody loves Kayla. Sunjai will be there this year. Kenjanae has always been a force, she’s that good, she’ll be there.” And there are some surprise dolls who will be on the tour, but it hasn’t been announced yet! Get tickets for the Bring It! Live tour, here .
