Jeannie Mai Credits Jeezy For Helping Her Raise Relationship Standards: “I Gave Myself The Bare Minimum”

On Wednesday’s (Oct. 9) episode of the daytime talk show, Jeannie Mai revealed to her castmates that her standards were pretty low during her marriage. Mai states that she accepted the “bare minimum” when it came to support from her now ex-husband Freddy Harteis . “When [Freddy] said things like ‘good for you’ or ‘that’s cool,’ I’m like, that’s great, he supports me! That to me is my standard of support. I didn’t even know until my new relationship that something as basic,” Jeannie Mai said emotionally. Mai states that Jeezy helped show her what real support was and became tearful when recalling how the “Snowman” rapper left his birthday party to take her to the airport. “I’m not crying to feel bad,” Mai continued tearfully. “It was just so touchy. But even something as basic as, like, at his birthday party, he left his own birthday to drive me to the airport, he was like ‘are you kidding? I want to see you off.’” Despite her revelations, Jeannie Mai insists that she doesn’t blame her ex for the downfall of their marriage, instead, she states that she learned the importance of loving herself and taking time out to be truly single to avoid settling for a relationship that doesn’t meet her standards. As previously reported , the couple went public with their relationship in August to the shock of many fans. The “enTRAPreneur” and The Real co-host made their swirl official with some professional photos shared exclusively by People Magazine. In other Jeezy news, the rapper announced he’s hitting the road with his The Return of Snow, All White Winter Megafest concert. The Detroit show will, of course, feature Jeezy and friends, with some special appearances by artists from the Detroit area. The concert is slated to take place on December 13 at the Little Ceasars Arena. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, October 11 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at 313Presents.com or Ticketmaster.com. Check out the clip from  The Real below.

Imagine having Farrah Abraham for a mom. Or, it that thought experiment is too terrifying for a Friday, just take a good long look at the life of Sophia Abraham. Sophia's been in the spotlight literally since the day she was born, and while many hoped she might be able to enjoy a somewhat normal childhood after Farrah got fired from Teen Mom OG , that hasn't turned out to be the case. In fact, the problem of overexposure seems to have gotten worse, as Farrah drags the 10-year-old to red carpet events all over the world, as though Sophia is some sort of a fashion accessory.  And now, it seems that fishbowl existence is beginning to have a major impact on the young girl's mindset. Take a look: 1. Like Mother, Like Daughter Very few 10-year-olds spend as much time posing for selfies and attending red carpet events as Sophia Abraham. 2. The Team To be fair, Farrah’s daughter does seem to enjoy all the attention — but that observation comes with two caveats: 3. Too Much, Too Soon For one, even if she likes it, showering a 10-year-old with constant praise and attention from adults — most of them strangers — is probably not a good thing. 4. Farrah’s Version On top of that, the only insight we gain into Sophia’s experience is filtered through Farrah, so naturally, we’re given the impression that she’s living every child’s dream. 5. Sophia’s Choice And so, despite how much time she spends in the public eye, it’s still very difficult to tell exactly what’s going on with Sophia. 6. Learning From the Past But we know from many prior examples that child stars often find it difficult to navigate the road to adolescence. To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, LOUD Records will be throwing a OG star-studded concert on October 11 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ dubbed LOUD Twenty-Five . Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Big Pun, and Xzibit are just a few names that the house that Steve Rifkind and Rich Issacson built. They helped push the rap game forward and the sounds that they created still reverberate in the culture to this day. Slated to feature performances from LOUD alumni such as the Wu-Tang Clan, Three 6 Mafia, Mobb Deep (R.I.P. Prodigy), dead prez, Pete Rock, and a Big Pun tribute courtesy of Fat Joe and Remy Ma, the concert event is poised to become a night to remember for the heads who lived Hip-Hop’s golden era. Throughout most of 2019, the only glimpse fans have been able to get from the designer/rapper are his jam session church services entitled “ Sunday Service “, along with a brief cameo in Travis Scott’s Netflix documentary . Earlier this year, his special edition of Sunday Service dominated Coachella, pulling in thousands of people at 7am in the middle of the desert. More recently, he held another edition of Sunday Service in support of the Dayton, Ohio mass shooting victims. But this Sunday, Ye is bringing it back to where it all started–his hometown of Chicago, Illinois . The low-key announcement was given via press release with tickets available on Ticketmaster. Besides the fact that the tickets went for a whopping free .99, we can expect a huge turnout simply due to the fact that there’s absolutely nothing like hometown love. This hometown Sunday Service comes only two weeks before Kanye is reportedly releasing his next studio album Jesus Is King on September 27th.
