Shooter Dead And 2 Injured In Texas High School Shooting A parent’s worst nightmare came true this morning as terror struck a Texas High School according to the NYDailyNews … A girl at Alpine High School in Texas shot and wounded another girl before fatally turning the gun on herself Thursday morning, police said. The shooting happened in a bathroom before 8 a.m., law enforcement officials told ABC7 New York. Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson said the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The other girl was wounded, he said. A police officer was also accidentally shot and wounded by a marshal at the school, Dodson said. The shooting happened less than three weeks after classes began Aug. 22. The district — comprising only one elementary, middle and high school, with about 1,000 students — went into lockdown after the gunfire. These school shootings have BEEN outta control. Monica Jordan Was Convicted Of Felony Arson in 2008; Police Believe Jordan Murdered Ex-Baseball Player Darryl Hamilton Before Committing Suicide The lawyer who cops believe murdered former Major League Baseball player Darryl Hamilton before turning the gun herself pled guilty to torching her own marital home in 2006, BOSSIP has learned. Police said Monica Jordan shot Hamilton , 50, before ending her own life at their Pearland, Tx. home on Father’s Day. Jordan was the mother of their one-year-old son, who was at home at the time of the killings, but wasn’t harmed. BOSSIP can reveal that Jordan, 44, pled guilty to felony arson following the shocking 2006 incident where she admitted using a flammable liquid to set her own house on fire. The destructive move was apparently to get back at her now ex-husband Rohaven Richards, who had his stuff inside the house. The indictment said she knew the house was insured against arson, though it wasn’t clear Monday how much damage the fire caused. Despite the arson, and their eventual divorce, Richards still had a soft spot for Jordan, even writing a good character letter on her behalf to the judge. Richards didn’t respond to BOSSIP’s request for comment. Their divorce papers are sealed. She took a plea in 2008, copping to felony second-degree arson, and received 10 years of probation, according to records from the Brazoria County Court in Texas. However, in 2010 the probation was “deferred,” meaning that it would be dropped if she stayed out of trouble. Not much is known about Jordan except her crimes and that she’s been practicing law for 20 years. But Hamilton played professionally from 1988 to 2001, playing with four playoff teams before retiring and joining the MLB Network as an analyst in 2013.

This is such a tragedy… Richmond Man Murders Ex-Girlfriend, Son, And Mediator During Custody Dispute A Richmond domestic dispute turned into a 4-way muder-suicide, with the father killing his ex-girlfriend, their 2-year-old son, and a criminal justice major acting as a mediator on the scene. There are really no words for this. Via NYDN : A Richmond man went on a murderous rampage over a custody dispute late Wednesday, gunning down his ex-girlfriend, their child and another woman acting as a mediator before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide, police said. Traymont B. Burton, 21, shot and killed 19-year-old Adreena D. Gary outside his ex’s South Richmond, Va., home and then went inside and gunned down former girlfriend Michelle S. Kelly, 22, and Keytrell Kelly, 2, before turning the gun on himself, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported. Family said Gary, a community college student who was working toward a criminal justice degree and hoped to become a lawyer, was trying to mediate a domestic dispute between Burton and Kelly when she was killed. Police responded to a 911 call of “shots fired” at 8:21 p.m. and arrived minutes later to a gruesome scene. Fire crews were brought in to hose down blood on the sidewalk outside, the Times-Dispatch said. It was a chilling scene, neighbors said. “It’s just shocking, and the lady used to keep my kids,” neighbor Chantell Woolridge told NBC 12. “And the thought in my mind is, what if my kids were there?” Kelly was described as a mom who doted on her son, according to cousin Shaheem Simmons. “She was more like my sister. We lived together my whole life as a child. I watched her grow as a woman,” Simmons wrote on Facebook. “If you knew her you knew she was sweet, respectful, caring, drama free and a mother — a real mom.” Why would he bring a gun to this discussion in the first place? Columbia Mall Shooting Results in Three Dead, Suspect Among Them

A shooting insider a Columbia, Maryland mall this morning claimed the lives of three people, with the suspect among those dead, according to police. Howard County Police Chief Bill McMahon says the motive of the shooter is unclear, but he opened fire on two individuals inside a second floor store before turning the gun on himself. The identity of the deceased remains unknown at this time. One body was found near a shotgun. “Think about this, on a Saturday afternoon at the mall, how many people may be in there,” McMahon said at a press conference. “Something like this happens and people run in many directions, and they also do what we train them to do — to shelter in place.” CNN, after speaking with a federal official, reports that the incident may have been connected to some kind of domestic dispute. Four shoppers were wounded as a result of the attack (though only one by gunshot) and treated at Howard County General Hospital. All are in good condition. Gunfire broke out in late morning, with a 911 call placed at 11:15 a.m. and the building deemed secure around 1 p.m. Laura McKindles, a mall employee, told CNN affiliate WJLA that she heard eight to 10 gunshots. “I have never experienced anything like this in my life,” she said. “I was standing there talking to a customer and I started hearing all this banging coming from the food court… and people started running and they said somebody’s down there and they got a gun.”

Loyal Dog Prevents Suicide: German Shepherd Knocks Gun Away From Owner

A loyal German Shepherd in France saved his 63-year-old owner from committing suicide by leaping and knocking aside the gun she had pointed at her heart. The woman walked into her garden in the French town of Sorgues and fired several test shots with a .22 caliber rifle before turning the gun on herself. Just as she was about to pull the trigger, her loyal German Shepherd prevented the suicide, jumping in and knocking the weapon from her hands. The gun went off and she did suffer a chest injury, but her wound was only superficial. She was found by her husband, who rushed her to a hospital. “As she pulled the trigger, her dog jumped on her and diverted the shot. [The dog] likely sensed things and knocked into her to save her,” local police said. Woman’s best friend.
