According to RadarOnline reports : Nicole Scherzinger is a fake who will do anything for fame, says one of her former Pussy Cat Doll band-mates, Star magazine exclusively reveals in their new issue. Kaya Jones, who was one of the original member of the girls group claims that it was her voice – NOT Nicole’s – that can be heard on many of their smash hits, including Buttons and Don’t Cha. “They put my voice down and said it was hers,” Kaya told Star in an exclusive interview. “When it came to having her own sound, she just didn’t have it.” The X Factor judge’s boundless ambition made her determined to be number one, even if her vocal chords weren’t up to scratch, says Jones, who claims she pushed other girls out of the group to get to the top. We told you he was leaving CNN and it turns out he’s headed to BET in a deal that will give him his own show and have him producing content on their website. Here’s the details: BET Networks announced today a multi-platform talent agreement with award-winning journalist and television personality, T.J. Holmes. The deal with Holmes includes a new show on BET as well as content on BET.com in which he can bring his many talents to some of the most important and interesting stories to BET’s audience. “We are simply ecstatic to have T.J. Holmes coming to our fold. He’s been an outstanding news anchor and we look forward to working with him in a variety of new ways on BET. It’s now upon us to develop vehicles that capture his intelligence, curiosity about the world, warmth, humor and compassion. It’s a challenge that we are happy to have,” said Stephen G. In Crooked Politician News: Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich Sentenced To 14 Years In Prison!

It’s been a loooonnnng, a long time comin’… the ousted Illinois governor whose three-year battle against criminal charges became a national spectacle, was sentenced to 14 years in prison Wednesday, one of the stiffest penalties imposed for corruption in a state with a history of crooked politics. Blagojevich’s 18 convictions included allegations of trying to leverage his power to appoint someone to President Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat to raise campaign cash or land a high-paying job. The twice-elected Democrat is now the second former Illinois governor in a row to be sentenced to prison, and the fourth Illinois governor in the last four decades. His Republican predecessor, George Ryan, currently is serving a sentence of 6 1/2 years, also for corruption. Blagojevich had told the judge that he made “terrible mistakes” and acknowledged that he broke the law when he tried to sell an appointment to the Senate seat. Blagojevich’s attorneys admitted for the first time Tuesday that he is guilty of corruption and accepts the verdicts against him, but said the sentence of 15 to 20 years prosecutors wanted was too harsh. The defence also presented heartfelt appeals from Blagojevich’s family, including letters from his wife Patti and one of his two daughters that pleaded for mercy. Damn, they made a lil example out of ol’ Blago didn’t they? Bolitics: Former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal No Longer Facing The Death Penalty

Almost 30 years to the date since his arrest for allegedly shooting a police officer in Philly, political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal is no longer on Death Row. The Philadelphia district attorney said today he is dropping pursuit of death penalty against former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal, the Associated Press reports. The announcement comes two days before supporters of the former radio reporter, who was convicted in the 1981 murder of Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, will gather to mark the 30th anniversary of Abu-Jamal’s arrest, ThePhiladelphia Inquirer says. Abu-Jamal, 58, is being held at the state prison in Greene County in Western Pennsylvania, where he has gained fame for his death-row writings. He will serve a life sentence. Faulkner was on patrol in Center City on Dec. 9, 1981, when, according to testimony, he pulled over a car driven by Abu-Jamal’s brother, William Cook, at 13th and Locust Streets, the Inquirer says. Abu-Jamal, moonlighting as a cabdriver, recognized his brother’s car, ran toward them, and shot Faulkner, witnesses testified. A gunfight ensued, and Abu-Jamal was struck by a bullet from Faulkner’s gun. Abu-Jamal was found slumped on a curb. Witnesses said Abu-Jamal stood over the wounded officer and shot him in the face. Neither Abu-Jamal nor Cook has testified about what happened that night. Abu-Jamal has denied shooting Faulkner.
