Behind The Scenes: New Orleans Saints Former Defensive Coach Gregg Williams Profanity-Laced Bounty Gate Speech About Attacking Players! [Audio]

Gregg Williams is off the chain! This is a must listen! New Orleans Saints Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams’ Pre-Game Bounty Speech Before his final game as defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints, Gregg Williams stepped before his players and urged them to physically hurt players on the 49ers. Audio of Williams’ speech to the Saints’ defense was captured by filmmaker Sean Pamphilon, who is working on a documentary about former Saints player Steve Gleason, who is suffering from ALS. Pamphilon has put part of the audio of the profanity-filled speech on YouTube. Pamphilon also passed on the audio to Michael Silver of Yahoo Sports because, he said, he was extremely uncomfortable with what Williams said about trying to hurt 49ers quarterback Alex Smith and other players. Williams, who masterminded the Saints’ bounty program, hinted that he would financially reward a Saints player who hurts a 49ers player. “At one point Williams says, ‘We hit [expletive] Smith right there’ – then he points under his chin [and continues] – ‘remember me.’ Then he rubs his thumb against his index and middle fingers – the cash sign – and says, ‘I got the first one. I got the first one. Go get it. Go lay that [expletive] out,’” Pamphilon told Silver. Williams has long loved the phrase, “Kill the head and the body will die,” and he used that phrase in talking to his players. He also specifically told them to go for the head of 49ers running back Frank Gore… Gregg Williams has already been indefinitely suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. This audio may make it difficult for Williams ever to get reinstated. This is the smoking gun that makes crystal clear that Williams wanted his players not just to play tough, physical defense, but to injure their opponents. Do you think that the NFL is getting too strict when it comes to rules, suspensions, and fines?? Image via AP Source Hit the flip to hear the speech in its’ entirety.

All Out Baseball Brawl Of Rival High School Teams [Video]

You know you are already wondering if the police were called, since they look all white: In the wake of this week’s junior varsity tournament baseball game that ended in a brawl, parents said eight JV players have been suspended and kicked off the Yuba City High School team. Officials at Yuba City Unified School District would not confirm the punishment meted out so far, but parents said they’ve spoken among themselves and many think the punishment was too extreme. “Was our pitcher wrong? Absolutely. Nobody is denying that. However, are our boys supposed to sit back while their whole dugout comes and tackles our pitcher?,” asked parent Stacy Todd, referring to the moment in the game when the pitcher for the Yuba City team threw a baseball at the first base coach after he’d allegedly called the pitcher’s mother an insulting name. Todd’s son Camryn was suspended for five days for admitting he’d thrown a punch during the fracas. She said her son did not expect to be banned from baseball for the season. “He’s devastated. He had no idea he would be kicked off the team,” Todd said. Several students at Yuba City High School said they had mixed feelings about the punishment. “I think he was just defending his mom, but I don’t think he needed to go that far as to throw the ball and rush on the coach,” Yuba City High freshman Lissette Luney said. Meanwhile, veteran umpire Sarjeet Singh said officials have to keep control of a game. “Basically, you have to see those things coming,” Singh said. “Sometimes you don’t, you don’t. But, I feel at the high school level you can see it coming.” RELATED STORY: Districts investigate brawl at youth baseball game Monday’s game at Granite Bay between Del Campo and Yuba City ended in a fight, which for a time was posted on YouTube. In the video, it appears that members of the Yuba City team charge onto the field and fighting erupts. “The administration and adults are ultimately responsible for what occurred on the baseball field,” Singh said. “They have to assume responsibility for the situation and dish out punishment as needed.” Some parents said they believe part of the blame lies on the officiating. There was only one umpire working the game, the normal number for JV baseball. “Certainly, the more adults the better,” San Juan Unified School District spokesperson Trent Allen said. “But, you do have multiple coaches, you have the ump and you hopefully have caring parents, hopefully setting a good example for students.” Although, in the video, a person who appears to be a parent is clearly seen running onto the field. “They’re trying to help,” Singh said. “But, really they’re just fueling the fire… Between the lines, no parent belongs on a baseball diamond!” Investigations by both the Yuba City Unified School District and San Juan Unified School District are underway. If warranted, punishment could range from a single game suspension to expulsion from school. “The consequences that are at hand for this kind of thing would be suspension from school, suspension from the team, being removed from the team, being placed up for expulsion,” Yuba City Unified School District Superintendent Nancy Aaberg said. “Any of our players who came out of the dugout and threw punches would certainly face disciplinary action,” Allen said. “And then, of course, we’ll look at how our adults behaved as well.” Image And Source News10/KXTV More On Bossip! BP Exceeds Chemical Dispersant Threshold (As "Science Experiment"), Despite EPA’s "Scale-Back" Directive | Video

Dispersants flow into Gulf in 'science experiment' By Ed Lavandera, CNN July 2, 2010 1:20 p.m. EDT New Orleans, Louisiana (CNN) — Chemical dispersants keep flowing into the Gulf of Mexico at virtually unchanged levels despite the Environmental Protection Agency's order to BP to “significantly” scale back, according to a CNN analysis of daily dispersant reports provided by the Deepwater Horizon Unified Command. When the May 26 directive was issued, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said dispersant use should be cut by 75 percent. Public statements at the time made by the EPA administrator gave the impression that federal officials were trying to cut down overall dispersant use. “We expect to see a substantial reduction in the overall amount of dispersant used,” Jackson said in May. Before May 26, BP used 25,689 gallons a day of the chemical dispersant Corexit. Since then, CNN's analysis shows, the daily average of dispersant use has dropped to 23,250 gallons a day, a 9 percent decline. Gulf Coast environmentalists say it's another sign that the federal agencies monitoring dispersant use are not being tough enough with BP. “I think the EPA has been struggling to respond to this crisis,” said Aaron Viles with the Gulf Restoration Network. “It's all really a giant science experiment and we're terribly concerned that in the long run the impacts are going to be significant and we really don't know what we're doing to the ecosystem.” But the EPA argues it deserves credit for getting alarming dispersant use under control. The directive states that BP must ramp down dispersant use by “75 percent from the maximum daily amount used.” And that's the catch. The highest recorded amount of dispersant used occurred on May 23, when 70,000 gallons were injected into the Gulf of Mexico. EPA officials say they feared that number would have become the norm and that's why, they say, the directive was issued. “This escalation was quickly reversed, ensuring BP only uses the lowest volume of dispersant needed,” said Adora Andy, a spokeswoman for the EPA. But even by the EPA's own standards, BP still routinely exceeds the daily threshold. The EPA and Coast Guard say they're trying to keep dispersant use to around 18,000 barrels a day. But according to CNN's analysis, BP has gone over that amount 50 percent of the time since the May 26 directive was issued. To do so, BP must request permission from the U.S. Coast Guard. Coast Guard officials say dispersant use is “evaluated daily” and that it's using the “safest and most effective methods available” to protect the sea environment. “The EPA-Coast Guard directive has been successful in ensuring that BP uses the lowest volume of dispersant necessary,” U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Erik Halvorson, a spokesman with the Unified Area Command. The EPA continues testing the chemical dispersant Corexit 9500, which has been used by BP since the beginning of the oil disaster. So far more than 1.6 million gallons of the chemical have been injected into the Gulf of Mexico. But the struggle over daily dispersant use has caught the eye of Rep. Ed Markey, D-Massachusetts, one of the loudest critics of BP's response in cleaning up the oil spill. “I think it is obvious we can never again allow for a repetition of what is happening right now, where the science experiment is being conducted without having any idea what the impact on marine life long term will be,” said Markey. added by: EthicalVegan
