Kevin Mazur/Getty Images Kevin Durant Racks Up $15K Fine From NBA Kevin Durant was fined $15,000 by the NBA following his public criticism of NBA referees, according to  ESPN . The comments happened on Tuesday, following the Golden State Warriors’ slim 123-112 victory against the Knicks. Durant was ejected from the game after receiving his second technical foul in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter. Following the game’s completion, KD came at official James Williams, accusing him of targeting him in the second half following an argument they had with one another earlier in the game. The next day at practice, however, Durant he agreed he was being an “a**hole” and deserved the punishment the league was going to dish out on him. Spring Valley Officer Caught On Camera Dragging Peaceful Student Across A Classroom Will Not Face Charges

Remember this incident ? Spring Valley School Officer Cleared Of Charges Last year a South Carolina school officer’s actions sparked a national debate after a video of him brutalizing a student over a verbal dispute went viral. Many believe ex-cop Ben Fields took it too far by dragging the peaceful young lady across a class room. His actions caused the unidentified student several injuries, including neck injuries and broken bones. Ben Field’s was fired after the incident. According to the Daily News , termination is the height of his punishment. Field’s supervisor Sheriff Leon Lott said Field’s actions were so despicable, he wanted “to throw up”. This however, had no effect to bring charges.  Richland County Solicitor Dan Johnson said in a 12-page court report Friday that he found no probable cause to charge the school resource officer because the incident “looked worse on camera”. Johnson’s report includes statements from a slew of witnesses — one of whom said “the incident looked worse in the video than it did in the classroom.” The report also included a formal account from Fields himself and he appears to have no regrets about his outrageous actions. “I realized that I was going to have to physically remove the student from her seat to effectuate her arrest,” he said, adding that the desk only flipped over because the student locked her legs inside it. Special Education Teacher Caught Having Sex With Special Needs Student Another freaky pedo teacher has been caught smashing a student in her care — this time one with a limited understanding of what exactly it is he was getting into. A Las Vegas special education teacher recently victimized one of the developmentally challenged young men in her care at a local high school. Via MailOnline : A special education teacher has been caught having sex with a 16-year-old student inside a classroom, according to police documents. Married 25-year-old Jillian Lafave was arrested after a hall monitor allegedly caught the two during school hours at Valley High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, News 3 reported. According to KTNV, the arrest report also stated that Lafave had exchanged more than 13,000 text messages with the student, who had a learning disability. Some of the messages were allegedly sexual in nature. The police documents stated the student would call his teacher ‘mom’ while she would refer to him as her son. Lafave, however, told the teenager through texts that he should not call her mom when they were talking about sex, the report states. Lafave, who was arrested earlier this month, told the police that she had kissed the student and touched his penis, but denied having sex with him. He had tried touching her genitals, but she pushed him away, according to the arrest report. The teenager had posted numerous photographs of himself with Lafave on social media, and told police he loved her when he found out she had been questioned. Lafave was charged with performing a sex act with a student and is scheduled to appear in court at the end of March, but she’s currently out on bond and on PAID leave from the school. SMH! Brittney Griner & Glory Johnson Suspended From WNBA Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson managed to move past their domestic dust-up last month, but it seems the WNBA hasn’t. The freshly married pair have each been slapped with a 7-game suspension from their respective team games — the longest ban in league history. Looks like the president really wants to set an example. Via ESPN : WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson were suspended seven games each Friday for their domestic violence arrest last month — the league’s longest ban in its 19-year history. WNBA president Laurel Richie said the league “takes all acts of violence extremely seriously” in handing down a suspension that represents nearly one-fifth of the 34-game regular season. Richie called the players’ actions “unacceptable.” “Brittney and Glory’s conduct is detrimental to the best interests of the WNBA and violates applicable law,” Richie said in a statement. “We also understand that people make mistakes, and that education and training are as important as imposing discipline.” “I have already learned a tremendous amount from this experience and am committed to improving myself and my marriage going forward,” Griner said in a statement. “I want to thank everyone for their support over these last few weeks. I realize I let down a lot of people who have been champions for me and I will support my teammates and our organization every day until I am back on the court. I am thankful for the opportunity to make positive changes and become a role model for others to do the same.” The WNBA said the two All-Stars must undergo individual counseling. If either fails to comply with that condition or those by the court, the league says it can revisit the case. Well that’s one way to set the precedent. Ray Rice Awarded Millions By The Ravens For Wrongful Termination Ray Rice received $1.588 million from the Baltimore Ravens as part of the settlement in his wrongful-termination grievance hearing in January, the Baltimore Sun reported Tuesday, citing sources. Via ESPN reports: As a result of the settlement, the Ravens will carry an additional $177,000 against the 2015 salary cap. The NFL had placed a $1.411 million cap charge against the Ravens’ 2014 cap when Rice filed his grievance. So, the additional $177,000 will carry over into 2015. Rice was seeking $3.529 million, the amount he would have earned had he played the remaining 14 games of the regular season after being suspended for two games. He was suspended indefinitely Sept. 8 for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy after a video of him hitting Janay, his then-fiancée, emerged and began widely circulating. The Ravens released Rice that day, and his contract was terminated. The incident occurred in February 2014 inside an elevator at an Atlantic City, New Jersey, casino. Rice was reinstated in December after a neutral arbitrator overturned his NFL suspension on appeal. Commissioner Roger Goodell had initially suspended Rice for two games before increasing the punishment to an indefinite ban after the video surfaced. Rice, who did not play last season, has repeatedly apologized for his actions. Rice, 28, is a three-time Pro Bowler and helped the Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII. Teresa Giudice may be going to jail in the very near future, but instead of keeping her nose clean and figuring out how to best provide for her children in the event that she gets locked up, Teresa has chosen to focus on what’s really important: Biting the hand that feeds her by feuding with her Bravo boss Andy Cohen! Yes, we learned earlier today that Teresa earns an astonishing $700,000 per season from The Real Housewives of New Jersey , and even though her job and the entire Housewives franchise might not exist without Cohen, she’s still taking him to task for comments he made on his show recently. On Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live , Cohen said of Teresa and her husband: “[They] didn’t get out of jail by being on Housewives of New Jersey …They are going to have to do whatever time they do.” Teresa somehow interpreted this as Cohen “joking” about her situation, and sources say she is now refusing to premiere on WWHL on Sunday, as originally scheduled. “She would prefer Andy not make any comments about the sentencing, because she doesn’t want to do anything that could affect what the punishment will be,” says a friend of Teresa’s. “It’s one thing for the legal proceedings to play out on the show, but Andy isn’t a lawyer, and shouldn’t discuss things he knows nothing about.” We’re not lawyers either, but we’re pretty sure that nothing Andy Cohen says on TV will result in Teresa receiving more jail time.
